Summary: Vicente finds himself having to coast by now that his remaining Family is gone.

[Lucien is gone. He tried to contact his Speaker, but he's nowhere to be found. Whether he was eaten by something or sent home, neither one sounds promising. Especially if it's true about what becomes of the worlds the inhabitants are taken from.]

[Vicente doesn't otherwise show it, but he's quite down right now, since his only family is gone now. He goes to the library to hide away and sort himself out.]



[The food here is no substitution for the provided blood he and Lucien found, but he finds it's still good to keep up appearances.]

His current book was a book of plays, chosen at random. It's something new, at the very least. Vicente looked right down at the animal, knowing that he possibly smelled odd to it. As a vampire, his body still functioned and was animate, showing no signs of rigor mortis or bloating, but his flesh still had the air of something not quite living.

Ammy turned her head away briefly, making a face that clearly said gross even to a complete stranger to wolf expressions. On the other hand, Vicente didn't seem like he was on the attack, either. So for now, she jumped up on top of one of the nearby bookcases -- just to keep an eye on him.

Vicente couldn't help but notice that the animal's face was oddly expressive for a minute there.

"You are a strange thing, you are," Even still, he sat down in a chair and began reading.

A breeze began to blow through the library, fluttering the pages of Vicente's book.

Vicente looked up. Odd, there was nowhere for a breeze to come through. The vampire shrugged it off for now and turned back to his place in the book.

The breeze picked up suddenly, sweeping a pile of papers off the desk and scattering them across the floor. Ammy continued to look innocent.
