Setting: Dorms, in and around room 1-06 (or anywhere else in the Tower, really). Backdated to yesterday.

Summary: Sora awakens after a month-long nap.
Warnings: None!
Notes: If Vanitas stole your character's stuff and left it with Sora - Gamzee and Taiki are the two that I can think of off the top of my head - feel free to come retrieve it in this log! Sora will gladly give it back.

Dorms - Locked to Xion

[It was with a loud yawn and a stretch that Sora, for the first time in over a month, opened his eyes. He didn't realize how long it had been, though - he came up here to take a short nap, so surely it was only a few hours. Right? Still, he felt a little drowsy, like he had overslept or something.

He'd had a lot of dreams, too, he remembered. That was pretty weird.

Sora sat up, planted his feet on the floor, and was started by a loud HONK that woke him right up.

...why were there horns on the bottom of his shoes?

And why did his face feel like it was covered in paint?]

Oh great.

[Welp. Time for a walk of shame to the bathroom to figure out just how bad this was. He takes off his shoe, for now - he can worry about that later.]

Anywhere Else - Open!

[Well, after finding out that he's been napping for just a little more than a few hours, Sora's eager to...well, for starters, to get something to eat. But mostly, he's eager to catch up with people!

So mission: talk to everyone is a go.]

[Funny how you mention 'get something to eat,' because guess who's been cooking a lot the last two weeks? Yep. It's this guy.

Bother?]

[...Did someone say food? Because that's very relevant to Sora's interests right now. Especially since the cafeteria menu basically looks like Greek right now, with all the new and...creative...dishes that Sora can't make heads or tails out of.

So Sora is, in fact, going to hang out in the kitchen and bother Yu. Especially since it's apparently been a month since he's seen him!]

Hey, Yu! What are you up to?

[Yes, someone definitely did say food. Like, say, the large quantities he has been preparing since he first returned to the tower. The familiar voice gets him to pause for a brief second to nod a hello before making sure nothing is burning. And of course, nothing is.]

Making lunch. [Was that an amused look? ...Yep, it was.] Good to see you again, Sora.

[The pause after the nod was okay with Sora; he just watches, and looks around the kitchen a bit. Honestly, he wished he was better at cooking - he could do a few things, but he didn't want to mess up and waste the food if someone else wanted it.

Still, it would be nice to have a little more variety every month...]

Good to see you too, Yu! [And there's that good old smile again; Sora really was happy to see him, even if it didn't feel like nearly as much time has passed on his end.] So, what are you making?

[Maybe that's why he was here in the first place; to help make sure the newbies to the ways around the kitchen wouldn't waste what little good ingredients they had out of all of it.

Yu's smile seems to become just a bit more visible.]

Curry... again. [Honestly? Part of him wishes some of that time didn't exist, but he won't deny that it was. He slept for a good portion of three weeks in the meantime, though.] It's one of the few dishes I know that can be made with what we have this month.

...Also a few things for a party coming up.

...huh? There's going to be a party?

[He was going to ask about the curry (because what WAS that, anyway?), but this was a bit more relevant to his interests. The party was news to him...as can be expected, considering how long he was napping.

Boy, was he ever behind.]

Yeah. A couple friends decided on it a few days ago. Just a brief moment of fun after what happened last month.

[Don't worry; it was on the network. He can't judge Sora for not knowing due to that and... well, Eikichi being Eikichi.]

Which means everyone's invited.

Really? When is it?

[Though the "what happened last month" part catches his attention, he files it away for the moment; one thing at a time, right?]

It's about time someone put together something really fun around here.

The twelfth, Floor 38.

[Yeah... That will be hell to explain, and he doesn't want to just yet. He's had to retell events so much lately, he isn't sure how many times he'll be able to without just writing it all down and if anyone asks, hand the paper to them. He isn't that good at telling others his own problems... if at all.]

I know, right? [Despite himself, he smiles a little. It's better to put your best foot forward, right?]

Well, there's no way I'm gonna miss it!

[He smiles back, which hopefully helps a little; Yu will probably breathe a sigh of relief, though, at the fact that Sora's curiosity about the mention of last month has been shoved to the side more forcefully by another problem. His stomach probably isn't going to stop growling on it's own, after all.]

In the meantime...mind if I try some of that curry stuff?

[Though Sora isn't really sure what it is, he's willing to try just about anything right now...and if Yu gives it to him, it's guaranteed that there won't be anything too weird in it. He can't always say that about the food made in the cafeteria.]

Good. I hope you have some fun there, too.

[He chuckles, nodding at the small stack of plates to Sora's left. Yeah, he heard that growl. Might as well take care of it, right?]

Grab a plate, then. [I don't mind.]
