Characters: Sora, OPEN~ (first section locked to Xion)
Setting: Dorms, in and around room 1-06 (or anywhere else in the Tower, really). Backdated to yesterday.
Format: I'll match you!
Summary: Sora awakens after a month-long nap.
Warnings: None!
Notes: If Vanitas stole your character's stuff and left it with Sora - Gamzee and Taiki are the two that I can think of off the top of my head - feel free to come retrieve it in this log! Sora will gladly give it back.

Dorms - Locked to Xion

[It was with a loud yawn and a stretch that Sora, for the first time in over a month, opened his eyes. He didn't realize how long it had been, though - he came up here to take a short nap, so surely it was only a few hours. Right? Still, he felt a little drowsy, like he had overslept or something.

He'd had a lot of dreams, too, he remembered. That was pretty weird.

Sora sat up, planted his feet on the floor, and was started by a loud HONK that woke him right up.

...why were there horns on the bottom of his shoes?

And why did his face feel like it was covered in paint?]

Oh great.

[Welp. Time for a walk of shame to the bathroom to figure out just how bad this was. He takes off his shoe, for now - he can worry about that later.]

Anywhere Else - Open!

[Well, after finding out that he's been napping for just a little more than a few hours, Sora's eager to...well, for starters, to get something to eat. But mostly, he's eager to catch up with people!

So mission: talk to everyone is a go.]

[She can't claim she isn't also relieved, and wouldn't try to, it's just... who knows if something else will pop up later?]

I'm... glad.

[... Well, no use worrying about it right now. The mention of her sketchbook makes her blink, then look down as if she'd entirely forgotten she was holding it - which she kind of did. Her hands tighten around it for a brief moment.]

-- Oh. I-- was going to go draw the flowers. [She says it as though she just now remembered that.]

The flowers? [He pauses for a moment to figure out what flowers she could be talking about, leaving the subject of his nap behind for now. There isn't much good that thinking more about it will do, after all. Maybe, Sora thought, just setting it aside for now would be better.] Do you mean the flowers in the meadow? Or somewhere else?

[The virtues of small talk, apparently; she can see the value of speaking about something else instead of the heavy topic. She falters only briefly before easing over to lighter conversation mode, an intentional smile sneaking onto her face.]

Yes, those flowers. It's a little less-- confusing than the other places there are flowers.

Can I see? Well...when you're done, I mean.

[It may seem silly, but Sora has never really had any friends who draw a lot...which might be for the better, since he's definitely the sort who would look over someone's shoulder while they were working if they didn't remind him not to. But still, he's definitely curious.]

[Then perhaps it's fortunate that she wouldn't bother him about it, regardless of whether or not it would be distracting. Of course, it may never happen that he be around when she's actually at work. Only time will tell.]

Oh...! Of course, Sora. [Her smile is genuine, but subtly shy, as is her voice.] You can look at my drawings whenever you want to.
