[open]
Characters: Ruler/Jeanne (
faithstaynight) & YOU!
Setting: Dormitory Floor Two -> Cafeteria
Format: Action, but I can do prose too!
Summary: An unhappy Servant wakes up in a place where she shouldn't be.
Warnings: N/A
[Dormitories]
[If you're walking anywhere near the vicinity of room 2-19, you might catch a sudden flare of light coming from the crack under the door. A moment later, a blonde girl - arms, stomach, and face clad in shining silver armor, with a long braid trailing past her hips - bursts out of the room, sword in hand.]
What sort of magecraft is this? A Reality Marble? [She pauses, mentally running through the list of remaining Servants. No, it couldn't be one of their Noble Phantasms... the surroundings look far too modern.] Speak, now! Who dares attack the administrator of the Holy Grail War?
[Cafeteria]
[After she had calmed down a bit, Jeanne made her way down. Down the stairs, down past the many strange floors, to the cafeteria. She had dismissed her armor for the moment, so she was dressed in a pair of black slacks and a navy blue button-down shirt - clearly menswear - with her hair still in the same braid.
Remarkably, she doesn't make a face when she receives the bowl of oatmeal that was supposed to be her dinner. Even more surprisingly is when she sits at the nearest empty table, scoops a bit up, and takes a bit without so much as flinching. Somebody sure isn't picky.]

She looks up as Jeanne walks in and decides to take her tray from where she was sitting and goes to sit down across from her. ]
Hey, do you mind if I sit here?

Of course not. Go right ahead.

I'm Kairi and it's nice to meet you, miss.

You're not going to find our kidnappers just walking around the tower.
[Dormitories]
Kidnappers? [So that definitely rules out the Servants, most likely...] So you are a captive as well? What do you know of this place?
[Dormitories]

I don't think it would be any kind of magic. Then again, there are plenty of conflicting signals within this place. It's hard to tell.
[ he gives her an apologetic smile. ]
But I don't know much about this, apart from that we were all taken here by some outside force, for an unknown motive.

[ dormitories ]
I find there are plenty of explanations for such phenomena, but there doesn't seem to be much that can be done about it at this point.

Another new prisoner, hm?]
The administrators of this place are notoriously hard to contact, I am afraid. And even when they do speak with us, it is rarely of the helpful or pleasant variety.
[She approaches slowly, keeping her voice steady so she might not startle the already alarmed lady-knight.]
I definitely cannot say I know everything about this place, but I can try to answer any questions you might have, should you wish.
Dormitories
I have... many questions. Too many. If you do not mind, mademoiselle, I think it might be better if you could simply tell me what you know.

[That said, she folds her hands in front of her, speaking with all seriousness. Even if it does sound insane, better to prepare and warn the newcomers quickly, rather than having them find out the dangers of the Tower on their own.]
This Tower is not connected to your world or anyone from your world in any way. Those in charge of this place claim that our worlds have all be completely destroyed, and that by bringing use here, they have "saved" us from suffering the same fate. This does not mean they can be trusted in the slightest, however. The majority of those in charge are cruel and without common morality, and they consider us little more than subjects and playthings to toy with at their whims.
Even without their direct interference, the Tower is a dangerous place. Monsters roam freely once the sun sets, and several of the floors have traps and terrors of their own.
[She gestures slightly to Jeanne's person, specifically her sword and armor.]
Being able to defend yourself at a moment's notice is a valuable skill to have.
[And she stops there for now, both to let it all sink in and to let the other react should she deem necessary.]

Part of this routine would be people watching and usually nobody really noticed him. He didn't make it obvious that he was watching them, either.
Until he saw her. The braid was different, he thought, but there was a strange bit of familiarity about her that made him pause and stare.
Stare in an obvious sort of way, no less.
Hey... he's suave most of the time, until Jeanne is involved-- and then he's that awkward teen all over again, gawking away, food forgotten.]
[cafeteria]
She is not very used to being stared at like that.]
... Is something wrong, monsieur? [She sounds a bit unsure...]

And now he's made that comfort feel a bit awkward, which is always a good thing, right? Yep. Snapping out of it he offered her an apologetic smile]
I apologize for being rude, ma chere-- You just remind me of someone I knew when I was younger.
[Much. He looked uncomfortable for a moment.]
Wishful thinking on my part, I think. Though, you are new I see? What's your name?

Hey! This seat isn't taken, right? [ It's a good thing that she had least has slightly more normal clothes on now or Leon would stand out even more with his punk clothing and piercings.. ]

To be honest, he has completely no idea on what he's eating, except it's definitely some kind of BBQ meat, and at the very least he has water to help him gulp it down when he needs to.
But yes, Ruler, there's just a stranger who just sat down in front of you. What do?]
