Fellowship of Animus | First Council of Sages

Format: Party style - pick your poison
Summary: After repeated delays, Zelda and Gandalf have finally called the populace of the Tower to discuss productive means of dealing with their situation.

It's taken far too long to get to this point.

Come Sunday, the various couches and armchairs of the uppermost lounge have been arranged in vaguely semi-circle-like patterns, with chairs from other floors scattered amongst them to increase seating even more. The semi-circles face inwards towards a central point to facilitate discussion among a large group of people. Though this is by no means a party, small slices of Lembas bread are available on tables around the perimeter - though there is no shortage of food, the hungry tend to be less cooperative, all the same.

Outside, the sun shines brightly without a cloud to obstruct it, but the atmosphere inside is much less carefree. Considering the purpose of gathering here this day, it's to be expected. Should this council succeed, it may very well change life in the Tower as everyone knows it. If not, well... one should certainly hope individual efforts begin to bear more fruit than they have in the past.

[Link looks up at him, and while his curiousity sparks, wondering what's in his hand, he lowers his head again. If he's waiting, Link shouldn't bother him. He continues to move to the door.]

[And it's at that point that Tatsuya gets impatient and turns to walk into the room. The only reason that Link got just a bump from his leg is because he was going pretty slow, and he stops and looks down.]

A-Ah, hey.

[Oh -- Oops.]

[Two people who are usually really quiet.

Mmm hmmm.]

You're fine. They finally done in here?

Yeah. It just ended.

Mmn. [Again, he takes...whatever he was messing with from his shirt pocket, and whatever it is, it's making a metallic clicky-noise every time he fidgets with it.]

...You gonna be alright? [Because he didn't...really look it.]

[agh, that question. Link almost looks away but clinkclinkwhatisthat.]

... yeah. I'm fine.

[vvvroom]

[The noise abruptly stops and he just stares at the kid. It's not a glare, thankfully, but it betrays his disbelief, and it's still a bit unnerving.

You're a terrible liar, man.]

[... Link does look away now.]

... I don't want to talk about it.

[vvvroom]

[Oh here it comes, another lecture from an ~adult~ and-]

Mmn. Fair enough.

[...Wait, what? As much of a relief as his reaction might be, though, he's still sticking around for...well. Dunno. Adult supervision, maybe?

He doesn't know Link's life, okay.]

Did the whole thing really go that bad? [Link doesn't have to talk about his specific stuff, but he heard a ton of arguing that sounded like it wasn't going anywhere.]
