Format: Party style - pick your poison
Summary: After repeated delays, Zelda and Gandalf have finally called the populace of the Tower to discuss productive means of dealing with their situation.

It's taken far too long to get to this point.

Come Sunday, the various couches and armchairs of the uppermost lounge have been arranged in vaguely semi-circle-like patterns, with chairs from other floors scattered amongst them to increase seating even more. The semi-circles face inwards towards a central point to facilitate discussion among a large group of people. Though this is by no means a party, small slices of Lembas bread are available on tables around the perimeter - though there is no shortage of food, the hungry tend to be less cooperative, all the same.

Outside, the sun shines brightly without a cloud to obstruct it, but the atmosphere inside is much less carefree. Considering the purpose of gathering here this day, it's to be expected. Should this council succeed, it may very well change life in the Tower as everyone knows it. If not, well... one should certainly hope individual efforts begin to bear more fruit than they have in the past.

[Somehow he had expected something similar to happen. Naoya's team had never been a single fighting unit, and fights between themselves had happen on a regular basis. Just leaving Mark and Brown together in a room for more than two minutes...

Ergo, he's somewhat sad, but not too surprised. Different views and different methods together in a room clashing like that...yet some of the subjects that were spoken of made him think.

He was now standing leaning on a wall, idly tapping his weapon.]

[He's joined not too long later by the more vocal of the two, even if it isn't by much unless something needs to be said. ...And there was plenty of that today.

There's no surprise for him, but he was aware of just what needed to change if they wanted to get anywhere...

Yu leans against the wall nearby, sighing. What's up, wall bro?]

[Sup. Nothing much, having a bud wait I'm not 20 some thoughts. He looks up to Yu, crossing his arms.]

What'd you think?

[The meeting of course. There's no disappointment in his voice, but he does sound a bit annoyed.]

[At this point he could almost not care about the whole underage thing. Almost. Yu taps the hilt of his sword with a finger, shaking his head. Annoyance and disappointment were there, however muted.]

...We have a long way to go before unity seems remotely possible.

[Just listening would be a start... gods above and below.]

I'm not surprised.

[That tone in his voice and the slight smile that is visible for a second. It almost seems...nostalgic. He shakes his head.]

That could be the problem. Perhaps full unity isn't the answer.

Can't say I am, either.

[Oh, nostalgia. where would we be without you?]

Small, dedicated groups maybe?

That's my idea. Forming groups that have skills that compliment each other. Combining forces when necessary, having someone from each group reporting together once in a while...

...a bit like we've been doing.

[He sees what they both did there, and he can't help the smirk. Funny how they're on the same page...]

[That's alright, Naoya can't help but smirk back.]

Perhaps we should suggest this to Zelda. If tonight's experience is any indication, it's best to do so. The idea is commendable, but without structure it will fall apart too easily.

Yes it was also...informative. I learned a lot about our peers tonight, and their ways of thinking. [For better or for worse.]

Right. [A sigh, and then.] ...We need to have another leaders' meeting as well. Not only because of this, but other recent events.

[He couldn't help but notice that both mind-control victims were not just Persona users, but both Minatos... That, and it would probably be a good idea to stay in contact more often.]
