Fellowship of Animus | First Council of Sages

Characters: THE FELLOWSHIP OF ANIMUS aka pretty much everyone
Setting: Floor 38, early afternoon - forward-dated to July 29
Format: Party style - pick your poison
Summary: After repeated delays, Zelda and Gandalf have finally called the populace of the Tower to discuss productive means of dealing with their situation.

It's taken far too long to get to this point.

Come Sunday, the various couches and armchairs of the uppermost lounge have been arranged in vaguely semi-circle-like patterns, with chairs from other floors scattered amongst them to increase seating even more. The semi-circles face inwards towards a central point to facilitate discussion among a large group of people. Though this is by no means a party, small slices of Lembas bread are available on tables around the perimeter - though there is no shortage of food, the hungry tend to be less cooperative, all the same.

Outside, the sun shines brightly without a cloud to obstruct it, but the atmosphere inside is much less carefree. Considering the purpose of gathering here this day, it's to be expected. Should this council succeed, it may very well change life in the Tower as everyone knows it. If not, well... one should certainly hope individual efforts begin to bear more fruit than they have in the past.

[Well despite being perfectly chill with a lot of demon ladies, he's always not sure what to expect when human girls walk up to him and---WAIT A MINUTE.

She knows him, in the way that speaks that she knows a lot about him. Okay just give him a second for his brain to have a rush of thoughts...

- She knows him
- Blonde-hair in that particular color of a certain someone he knows
- She is a girl???

There where two solutions to this, then;

- This was Lucifer from the world the other self Enoch talked about where Naoki was a girl. Or...
- He did know Lucifer was the young boy and the old man so from a point of view, what's to say he couldn't turn into more forms, right? The blonde hair was pretty much a giveaway if you knew him.

So he gives him a slightly confused look at first. Why a girl? Why a girl now? Then again, Naoki does suppose it is one way to disguise himself. And he had a feeling Lucifer was just as curious about this meeting as he was.

He finally nods at his words. Yeap, curiosity brought out the Demi-Fiend. Can't really blame him, can you? No seriously, why a girl.]

[Why a girl? Why a boy? Why an old man or a young man or a teen? Why even take a humanoid form at all? There are several answers and in some ways that makes it so there's no real answer at all. Sometimes the world Lucifer enters dictates the form he takes. Sometimes the expectations of the people he meets. And sometimes he simply takes whatever form is pleasing to him.

Louisa smiles a little bit and puts a finger to her lips. Thinking, and giving a small shushing sign at the same time. You're right in your belief that it is a disguise. That he will show himself or herself in different ways to as many people as possible. To keep from being too well defined by them.

And shut up Naoki if you could be a pretty girl too you would be one don't lie.]

I thought as much.

I wonder. Have you decided yet whether you will let your fate entwine with theirs [Louisa's eyes bolt a bit behind her, looking towards the crowds of people] or shall this meeting be one of the decisive factors of that.

[I already get stares walking around shirtless I can't even imagine what it'd be like if I was a girl...but maybe for a day...no not even a day okay. STOP MAKING ME THINK ABOUT THAT I'M STILL A CONFUSED TEEN AT TIMES.

He isn't sure how to answer (well not that he's been speaking much, mind you). Lucy...Louisa...you always tended to throw him for a loop. He does want to help, or at least get them out of the tower, but what comes after that, or how it gets to that was still very much up in the air....so the answer you are looking for is, yes, perhaps this meeting will help him make his decision.

But you know how he is about decisions. Present him with many options and he'll just go off on his own. So he'll answer with a question of his own.]

I leave my fate up to no one but myself.

[And that is the truth. Whatever should happen to her/him/it is Lucifer's choice and Lucifer's alone. She did not escape from servitude to YHVH to put her fate into the hands of any other. What sense would it make to defy the greatest of those who decide fate only to give in to others?

And yet it had also been Lucifer to give man knowledge back in Eden. To let them see the world for what it truly was and not only the tainted lies spun by YHVH that had previously tinted their world.

No. Lucifer would never put all her faith in them. But she would have faith in them. And in the end if a means to leave the tower did arise?

Perhaps she would not take center stage. But she would help point the way to the sought after exit.]

It will be an interesting occasion, regardless.

I've been a bit of a hermit I suppose. I haven't met as many people here as I should have. A pity, on my part. They all seem like such lovely people.

[And that makes complete sense to him. Lucifer is who it is, after all, and even if he doesn't say it openly, Naoki does have a lot of respect for him, something YHVH would never be able to get from him. They might not agree on everything, but he is still guidance on certain occasions.

If Lucy was the one to point to the exit, Naoki might be the one leading others there. That, of course, depending on many factors...]

It will. [Ahh but she sure knows how to pick them for their speaking abilities. Naoki does raise an eyebrow at the last comment. He knows all too well what happens when you get a little too interested about certain people, after all.]
