Fellowship of Animus | First Council of Sages
Characters: THE FELLOWSHIP OF ANIMUS aka pretty much everyone
Setting: Floor 38, early afternoon - forward-dated to July 29
Format: Party style - pick your poison
Summary: After repeated delays, Zelda and Gandalf have finally called the populace of the Tower to discuss productive means of dealing with their situation.
Warnings: None yet, will edit should something come up
It's taken far too long to get to this point.
Come Sunday, the various couches and armchairs of the uppermost lounge have been arranged in vaguely semi-circle-like patterns, with chairs from other floors scattered amongst them to increase seating even more. The semi-circles face inwards towards a central point to facilitate discussion among a large group of people. Though this is by no means a party, small slices of Lembas bread are available on tables around the perimeter - though there is no shortage of food, the hungry tend to be less cooperative, all the same.
Outside, the sun shines brightly without a cloud to obstruct it, but the atmosphere inside is much less carefree. Considering the purpose of gathering here this day, it's to be expected. Should this council succeed, it may very well change life in the Tower as everyone knows it. If not, well... one should certainly hope individual efforts begin to bear more fruit than they have in the past.

And this is why he did not dismiss your Persona self, Lucifer.]I know several who have, which is why I agree. Everyone has the potential to be great, no matter which way they go in life.
[...Back to being quiet
for the show, now.][

[He refuses to back down, and yet he's growing tired of this debate. He doesn't care about any of those others. He cares about himself, and to some extent he cares about his brother. That's all, and Lucifer knows it, and he knows Lucifer knows it.]
Certain circumstances aside, approaching this as if the administrators here will join hands with us and start singing Kumbaya is just going to end in more suffering.

[Yes. This will teach you for speaking your mind Naoya.]
Surely you can't think that a pointless goal.
[Even if it's IMPOSSIBLE.]
no subject
Or get Naoki to do it.][He needs to calm down. He's getting irritated, enough to start impairing his judgement. He's always had trouble with that.]
Would the ultimate goal of this alliance not be to take out the administrators, or at least force them to comply with our demands? You don't turn away resources in a war, and thinking of this as anything more diplomatic than that is going to be pointless.

And yet, to give the indication we might could make for a decent flank. To see if there are any naive or hopefully enough to fall for it.
Perhaps if one is they might even be spared, if they prove useful enough.
Of course, subtlety, I assume, is something you are unfamiliar with.

One of the administrators is a child, is he not? Perhaps he can be used.
no subject
And perhaps he could. But I would take more caution with him than others.
no subject
Of course. We wouldn't want to alarm his caretakers, now would we?
