Fellowship of Animus | First Council of Sages
Characters: THE FELLOWSHIP OF ANIMUS aka pretty much everyone
Setting: Floor 38, early afternoon - forward-dated to July 29
Format: Party style - pick your poison
Summary: After repeated delays, Zelda and Gandalf have finally called the populace of the Tower to discuss productive means of dealing with their situation.
Warnings: None yet, will edit should something come up
It's taken far too long to get to this point.
Come Sunday, the various couches and armchairs of the uppermost lounge have been arranged in vaguely semi-circle-like patterns, with chairs from other floors scattered amongst them to increase seating even more. The semi-circles face inwards towards a central point to facilitate discussion among a large group of people. Though this is by no means a party, small slices of Lembas bread are available on tables around the perimeter - though there is no shortage of food, the hungry tend to be less cooperative, all the same.
Outside, the sun shines brightly without a cloud to obstruct it, but the atmosphere inside is much less carefree. Considering the purpose of gathering here this day, it's to be expected. Should this council succeed, it may very well change life in the Tower as everyone knows it. If not, well... one should certainly hope individual efforts begin to bear more fruit than they have in the past.

However, he gave a half bow, placing a hand to his chest as he did so.
"I am but a humble Priest!"
He looked up, smiling even brighter than before.
"The Trickster Priest Xellos, is what I'm called."

Lucifer says it a bit slowly. Feeling the word. Testing it.
"A bit unnecessary, don't you think?
You could shorten it just to priest and have the same meaning."

He then opened one eye, his smile still present, but it twisted and became momentarily sinister. Whoever this was - and even if the name was accurate, he couldn't be sure just who she was - he liked the way she thought. That much was a certainty.
"Touché!" he said finally. "Well, it would certainly save me some time, I suppose."
no subject
She is glad she has not been disappointed. Lucifer may still know next to nothing about the Mazoku, may not know entirely what he is or his limits, but this is at least a good first impression. She tilts her head a bit, as if pondering something before she responds.
"It's said that time is a precious commodity. And I suppose it is.
But then again. I think we have more of it than most give themselves credit it for."
Her eyes dart towards one of the larger crowds, still smiling.
"And in order to get anything out of an investment, you have to put something in."
no subject
"I am quite patient, I can assure you. While I have no desire to be here longer than necessary, to be too hasty would likely not prove to anyone's advantage except our hosts. If anything, I do not plan on giving them that pleasure. So yes... an investment in those who reside in this Tower will prove necessary at some point, I suspect."
no subject
It helps, as well, to have found a few previous investments make there way here."
no subject
Or potential ones, anyway. There was still some work to be done with regards to this Lina, his suspected.
