Fellowship of Animus | First Council of Sages
Characters: THE FELLOWSHIP OF ANIMUS aka pretty much everyone
Setting: Floor 38, early afternoon - forward-dated to July 29
Format: Party style - pick your poison
Summary: After repeated delays, Zelda and Gandalf have finally called the populace of the Tower to discuss productive means of dealing with their situation.
Warnings: None yet, will edit should something come up
It's taken far too long to get to this point.
Come Sunday, the various couches and armchairs of the uppermost lounge have been arranged in vaguely semi-circle-like patterns, with chairs from other floors scattered amongst them to increase seating even more. The semi-circles face inwards towards a central point to facilitate discussion among a large group of people. Though this is by no means a party, small slices of Lembas bread are available on tables around the perimeter - though there is no shortage of food, the hungry tend to be less cooperative, all the same.
Outside, the sun shines brightly without a cloud to obstruct it, but the atmosphere inside is much less carefree. Considering the purpose of gathering here this day, it's to be expected. Should this council succeed, it may very well change life in the Tower as everyone knows it. If not, well... one should certainly hope individual efforts begin to bear more fruit than they have in the past.

[And just like usual, questions appear.]
no subject
To know what needs to change. [And a way to change it.]
no subject
[He had been there before, after all, being driven out by the very men he cared for once.]
no subject
[He didn't figure out what happened back home last year by simply trying to change others, voice twin. Though he does catch something in there...]
no subject
[Ends, means, blah.]

[Yu stares directly at the mask, cold gaze changing if only briefly.]
One single action can stir the heart more than a thousand words, yet it is not limited to force of will. Think any differently about this simple philosophy, and the world will swallow you whole...
[If it hasn't already. His gaze narrows.]
Of course, that also means that my words will likely have little effect on you as well. Go on and see what you want to see, believe what you wish to believe... [He begins to turn away.] It does not change the truth.
no subject
[Ha.
Hahahahahahahaha.
Ha.
'One single action can stir the heart more than a thousand words', boy, wasn't that amusing. He had done just that to change the world, after all. As morbid as the plan was...
He spoke again, his tone remaining as neutral as possible while the smallest hint of amusement seeps through.]
'One should kill should they are prepared to die.'
I believe that I shouldn't even ask you whether you're willing to die for your friends.
But are you willing to die for everyone you have wronged in your life?

[Short, sweet, and to the point. That's just his typical response. Of course there's more to it, because it's him and he rarely ever does say more than what's necessary. After all, his eyes usually said the rest.
...and there is no uncertainty or naivety in his hardened gaze.]
no subject
Then see to it that you carry through your will.
[...Yeah, he's not really amused, and kinda expecting that answer too. Whatever, voice twin.
He's watching you.]
no subject
'See what we wish to see,' indeed. [He sighs.] Still, we will decide our own fate. Now and always.
[He's watching you too, Lelouch. Though to be honest, he's a little disappointed to see they can't listen to one another in this manner. Maybe it was time to create a facade anew.]
