DREAM A LITTLE DREAM WITH ME
Characters: all the characters involved in the Dream Event
Setting: various dreams, various locations
Format: any
Summary: Xehanort draws a large amount of the tower into worlds constructed from their dreams in an attempt to learn about everyone en masse
Warnings: ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING
[Tendrils of magic wound their way around, lines of energy flickered into existence, forming a large shape on the ground around where Xehanort sat with his back straight and legs tucked neatly beneath him. Perfect. It was a bigger scale than the one he'd done but a month before, already he could feel the flickers of connection, the shape getting brighter and more defined.
More participants. More mental drag. There was little to worry about. With Xigbar on guard duty, his sleeping body would be quite safe. No, it was time to dream... and see just who would follow.
Darkness shrouded his hand, keyblade flaring into life, and he gripped the handle in both hands, aiming it at the ground, at the keyhole defined by criss-crossing darkness responding, resonating...
drowsiness laced through him, the blade in his hands sagging downward until the tip touched the ground, his posture slacking, head and shoulders slumping slightly
in slumber, the dreams of others awaited
the Master was asleep.]
OOC NOTE BECAUSE I CAN'T EDIT THE POST IT'S ON ANYMORE AND NOT REDOING ALL OF THAT: Dreamers should post to their REAL WORLD thread explaining where their character is, if they made it to a bed or if they're on the floor somewhere or wherever.
If you have questions for me, put them in your base character thread!
If I missed you somehow, let me know and I'll add you to the appropriate section!

"Doc" Emmett Brown (OU)
REAL WORLD
no subject
With what little strengths he had left, he managed to reach his dorm and went to lie on the bed. He took a paper and a pen, trying to write a message very quickly. When his roommates would enter the room, they'd find him immobile on the bed the paper next to him and the pen on the ground.
Einstein was in the room though, looking at Doc very... Sadly. The message looked as though it had been written very quickly by a very tired person. Toward the end, the writing even looked shaky. It read as follow:
"If you read that paper, it means that I am probably dead by now. I'm sorry Marty, I am afraid I feel my energy fading away and strength leaving my body. I wish I could have stayed longer with you in the tower, especially since I believe this is primordially my fault if all of this happened and if you have been forced away from your family and Jennifer for so long.
I truly hoped to find a solution to our problem, to discover how we could restore our universe before dying. Alas those last months have been very hard on me and I have pushed myself to the limits! I suppose I couldn't have delayed moment any further.
All that belonged to me now belongs to you. You will find in the workshop a summary of my results so far and my plans to build a new time machine and theory on how we could escape the tower and revive earth. They are all hidden, but I trust you to find them. I hope you'll have more success than I and be reunited with your family.
I, as your friend in ti----------"
The message ended as though Doc couldn't finish writing it.

"Doc! DOC! Don't do this to me, Doc! Come on!" Pulling the heavier man over, he sort of flops Doc on to his bed. "Doc! Help! Eikichi! EIKICHI!" For a moment he stared at Doc, then- wait.
"Doc! You're... just asleep..." Oh Doc. Marty rubs his face and shakes himself, then picks up the paper and reads it. Oh, Doc.
Marty sat heavily on his bed across from Doc's and flopped his arms down, paper still in hand. "Doc, you're a great friend..."
no subject
The moment you flopped Doc on his bed he got shot by Libyan terrorist in his dream. That's awfully painful.Sob, he'd be so glad. He wish he could hear that. Well maybe he does? Impossible to say, he sleeps deeply. If only he had known he wouldn't have written such a dramatic message. Oh... and Eikichi probably sleeps too by now.
Sorry Marty looks like you get to be the awake one in this dorm. With Einstein of course.

DREAMS
Dream (Time Travel) || Part 1/2 || 1985-A & 2015
Characters: Doc and Ventus
NPC: Griff Tannen
[ A car park near Marty's house. Who comes out of it? Doc Emmett brown, in crazy, flashy clothes. ]
Marty! You've got to come back with me!
[ Needless to say, Marty's pretty much confused. He came back from the past last night after all, one cannot expect him to understand much of what's going on. When he asks Doc-- ]
Back to the Future!
[ And then Doc proceeds to put "fuel" in the car, take Marty and Jennifer back to 2015... ]
........
[ The Delorean lands in an alley and Doc immediately opens up the door. Jennifer is already knocked out by now, exactly as she should be. It's pretty much impossible to say wheter Doc is aware or not that this is all a dream. Going by how he acts though, one logical conclusion would be say he doesn't know. Either way, Marty stops him as he's about to go out of the car
Right! It rains dogs and cats. Doc looks up in surprise then stares at his watch. ]
Wait five more seconds.
[ And after exactly five seconds, the rain ends and the sun shows itself, the cloud dispersing away. Doc smiles widely and gets out. ]
Right on the tick. Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Too bad the post office isn't as efficient as the weather service.
[ He goes back to check on things in the car as Marty walks out, looking around. Yes, it is the future. ]
no subject
[All of the weather save some, unfortunately. It was one of Ven's rather more ungraceful arrivals, falling from the sky and land squat on top some innocent bystander below with a loud crash and thud. Thankfully non-lethally, but boy did that smart-- for both of them, no doubt.]
Ow... [Mumbled to himself, before he finally realized he had landed on someone and quickly scrambled to his feet.] A-Ah! Sorry! Are you OK? Is everything OK? [Posed to the other people present as well. Hoo boy, this wasn't looking to be a very good start, was it...]
no subject
Marty!
[ He kneels and check on him, he's alright only knocked out! But then he looks up at Ventus-
Wait that's not right... ]
Who are you...? Great Scott!!
[ Realization clicks in. Gg Ventus. ]
That's not how it is supposed to happen!
no subject
I-- uh, Ventus. I'm Ventus.
[He's worried less about who Scott was or the potential ramifications on the dream, and more about holy shit i just landed on top of someone.] Is he gonna be alright?!
no subject
Yes this is the future... Yet this is also my past and with Marty out this present won't follow its natural course of action, causing a chain reaction leading to an unprecedented time paradox!
[ He grabs Ventus' shoulders and looks at him gravelly. Don't you realize Ventus? ]
This is terrible! Tell me sky boy, who are you and where do you come from? You're neither a part of this chain of events nor a part from this era! But how is it possible that I am even reliving such a memory?!
no subject
He snaps out of it at least when Doc grabs his shoulder and then he...kind of just looked freaked out. "Sky boy"?]
Uh-- [Well he seem to kneow it was a memory, so--] I'm from... well that doesn't really matter right now. This is just a dream, and I came from the outside...! I'm not really supposed to be here, but I'm here to help you.
no subject
[ This sounds weird Ventus, not gonna lie. Yet again, that's the only rational explanation to reliving this memory... And Doc is a specialist in weird stuff. Okay, he's gonna believe it... For now. ]
If this is a dream- That's no normal dream... People do not jump into dreams, nor are they so realistic usually! This could be problematical! You're here to help me you say?
Then there is only one thing you must do: Take Marty's place until the end of the dream.
no subject
[Marty, the guy that was unconscious? He blinked and looked at Marty, then looked back at Doc, then back at Marty, and finally settled on Doc.]
W-- Why? [Was that something he could do]
no subject
[ He grabs Ventus by the shoulder and- DRAMATIC STARE. ]
If the dream does not continue, the dream may never end and we shall forever be stuck in dream limbo, the consequences of which are better left unsaid!

Dream (Time Travel) || Part 2/2 || 2015 & 1985-B
Characters: Doc, Zelda and Ventus
NPC: Biff Tannen
[ By now, the old Biff Tannen has already "borrowed" the Delorean and given the Sports Almanac to his younger self back in 1885. Furthermore he is Back from the Future, meaning the Delorean is back where it belongs and is empty. A great disturbance can be felt running throughout the timeline!
And thanks to a dream paradox, it is not Marty who helps Doc safely move Jennifer out of Hilldale, no. That would rather be Ventus. Fear not, Marty's unconscious body is hidden safely near the emplacement of the Delorean. ]
Jennifer encountered her older self and went into shock, just as I predicted. She'll be fine. Let's get her back to the past together with Marty, and hopefully this will end the dream!
[ He quickly moves Jennifer closer to the Delorean and stops when they're close to the car. For some reasons, he can't remember the exact details of what is meant to happen in 1885 when he'll get back, even though he's aware this is all a dream. probably the result of a paradox. But- ]
This reminds me all of this inspired me to destroy the time machine! As this incident proves the risks are great and yet I was behaving responsibly.
You can imagine the dangers if the time machine were to fall into the wrong hands!
[
... Someone please tell them Xehanort is watching.]no subject
He perked up in alert at the Doc's last words however; unfortunately he was quite literally sworn to silence on the matter, so simply waved his arms in front of him and chuckled sheepishly, hoping to divert the subject matter.]
Nah, I'm sure it wouldn't be a big deal! I mean, even with everything that's happened, I'm pretty sure we were able to fix it pretty well! [Maybe?? Time travel was hard augh] But you're right, it's better safe than sorry to destroy it as soon as possible, just in case.
no subject
Um. What?]
Where...?
[
Impa, I don't think we're in Hyrule anymore.]no subject
[ That's when Doc sees.... A Zelda. Suddenly. What is she doing here? It doesn't make any sense. The dream is about to end, once they'll be back to 1985 it should be over.
He looks at her with wide eyes. ]
... Princess Zelda?!
[ At least FOR ONCE he isn't bothering her, or feeding her descendant coffee. ]
no subject
...Wait what]
Princess?! [Chimed almost in unison with Doc, his eyes growing just as wide.] What are you doing here?! [Was this even possible]
no subject
At least Ven's here. Wherever "here" is.]
I, ah... I do not know. [Truly - she regards her surroundings with a combination of confusion and wariness. Everything seems so different...] I have never been here before...
no subject
[ Okay, time to think... Oh no that's no good. No good at all. ]
Damn! Damn... Damn, damn damn damn...!
[ He breathes deeply and look at Zelda, then at Ventus alternatively. ]
Something in the very fabric of this dream must have summoned you here. This is terrible. If one more person is summoned into this dream, we will not have enough space in the Delorean to take them back to 1985 and they will be stuck in this era. This would cause a time paradox within the dream, preventing us from ever finishing it!
Would this be to happen, I foresee two possibilities. One, we would forever be stuck in dream limbo, unable to finish the dream. Or two, our bodies would sustain too much damage and we would end up dying in the real world! Granted this is a worse case scenario, our brains may very well be damaged before our bodies, eventually disconnecting us from the dream and resulting in permanent madness upon waking up.
no subject
[OK OK, it was all good, just had to calm down, and solve this as quickly as possible before they all went insane.]
Look-- Zelda, you're dreaming too. I'm the only one that's not technically dreaming right now. I came in here on purpose, but-- [Well to put it bluntly, he had no idea two dreamers could share dream--] maybe there's some reason that both of your dreams are crossing over?
