DREAM A LITTLE DREAM WITH ME
Characters: all the characters involved in the Dream Event
Setting: various dreams, various locations
Format: any
Summary: Xehanort draws a large amount of the tower into worlds constructed from their dreams in an attempt to learn about everyone en masse
Warnings: ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING
[Tendrils of magic wound their way around, lines of energy flickered into existence, forming a large shape on the ground around where Xehanort sat with his back straight and legs tucked neatly beneath him. Perfect. It was a bigger scale than the one he'd done but a month before, already he could feel the flickers of connection, the shape getting brighter and more defined.
More participants. More mental drag. There was little to worry about. With Xigbar on guard duty, his sleeping body would be quite safe. No, it was time to dream... and see just who would follow.
Darkness shrouded his hand, keyblade flaring into life, and he gripped the handle in both hands, aiming it at the ground, at the keyhole defined by criss-crossing darkness responding, resonating...
drowsiness laced through him, the blade in his hands sagging downward until the tip touched the ground, his posture slacking, head and shoulders slumping slightly
in slumber, the dreams of others awaited
the Master was asleep.]
OOC NOTE BECAUSE I CAN'T EDIT THE POST IT'S ON ANYMORE AND NOT REDOING ALL OF THAT: Dreamers should post to their REAL WORLD thread explaining where their character is, if they made it to a bed or if they're on the floor somewhere or wherever.
If you have questions for me, put them in your base character thread!
If I missed you somehow, let me know and I'll add you to the appropriate section!

DREAMS
The Law
The Emperor

Inside rested a black Phoenix Ranger Featherman mask, and the moment he touched it another man's presence could be detected in the cavern. The two were talking, but most of the words that were being exchanged were unclear. What was clear was Jun's intentions, as he lifted the mask out of the box.
He was angry and bitter. He wanted power. He wanted to help people. He wanted revenge, and his father could help him. His father had found the power to destroy those who had killed her.
"But are you positive this is what you want, my son?"

Nyarlathotep...
He clenches his first in anger at the question he's asking Jun. There's no choice to make, even if it seems like he's offering him one. The Crawling Chaos must have been calculating this moment for possibly years. But that simple question can make him feel like the blame falls squarely upon him.
The question is...how did Jun arrive here? How were they all connected?
no subject
He turned the mask around and set it against his face, pulling the string across his head. He finally stood up from his position in front of the box, and when he turned around-- no longer was it the helmet of the children's show hero, but the mask had transformed into the white, grinning face of the Joker.
It was only now that Jun paid his attention to Naoya. "And what have we here? You're a bit lost, aren't you?"

The Peace
Whether it will stay that way is left purely up to fortune.
tags the most unassuming dream
Even with his typical party discomfort, Alcor felt a great sense of relief when he found himself on somewhat more stable ground (at least compared to where he'd been lately).
Of special note to him were the flowers, and the star took time to relax by sitting down by a rosebush. Yes, dreams could be peaceful too he supposed- it almost made him feel...safe.
WELP
Jun called to him happily once he noticed Alcor's presence. The others in attendance turned to look at him happily, a few chiming happy greetings of their own.
A few minutes on, and Jun got up from his seat next to Tatsuya, making his way to Alcor's rosebush and kneeling down beside him. "I'm glad you could come."

The gorgeously colorful garden starts to wither - no, it starts to fade into a shade of itself, black overtaking every petal, stem, and leaf. Wherever the latest visitor to the party steps, she carries an abyss with her. Cast as a simple shadow herself, she lacks any of the usual tenets of a Shadow. No yellow eyes. Just a razor-thin outline like the brightest blue the mind's eye can comprehend.
She's strode into the crowd of party-goers proper, now - and people turn darkened by her presence, too. They don't seem to notice her at all, even as their arms or legs are swallowed into inky silhouettes.
no subject
A good amount of the other party-goers were swallowed by the silhouettes completely, becoming nothing more than unmoving lumps in the scenery.
And Jun just carefully rose from his seat, staring at Sayaka, both cautiously and expectantly.

All is still, the seconds counting themselves as Jun's assured trepidation builds.
This was a dream of fortune turned sour - and there'd be no other moment in her live that she'd been more sour than the one currently lording over Sayaka's mind. Playing back to her old motions, she shifts into a poor, unpracticed battle stance. A sword comes to her fingers in a wisp like soot.
no subject
"Who... Who are you?" He called, unable to recognize her as the girl he had seen last month. Surely she didn't want to fight, right? Jun was no expert in swordplay, but he could tell from here that she wasn't sufficiently experienced.
He didn't take a battle stance, nor draw any weapon; just tried to take a step back, a feeble attempt to get as far away as possible.

[Eriko wanders in, a bit confused. How did she end up here? Oh well, at least she found someone somewhat familiar. She approaches Jun.]
German... is it? I can't say that I know what they're saying, though. Do you?

He glanced idly around, and though he didn't seem to see anything, he answered the question regardless.] The poem, Der Doppleganger. It speaks of a man who returns to a place of his past and finds a lookalike grieving for his lost love.

[Doppelgangers - malevolent doubles whose lore stretched far and wide throughout the world and its cultures. ... oh, shit, was this Jun a Doppelganger? He certainly didn't act like Jun...]
You're certainly knowledgeable about such a thing.
Tell me, Mr. Kurosu.
Who are you looking for?
no subject
Looking for? I'm not looking for anyone.
[It was just another day of shuffling from class to class, after all.]

The Rise
Compared to the othe dreams, however, the children are all acting completely normal.

Thank you Eikichi for this riveting commentary. You could at least comment on the fact your other self is wearing a SCORPIO mask instead of the usual featherman one.

Also...somehow, he figured that the "New" Masked Circle was along these lines, yeah, but actually seeing it like this...was...well, it brought it home, so to speak.
Aw crap they've been spotted. He at least does his best to look as non-threatening as possible, giving a wave to the younger Jun.

The Fall
Another woman appears and Maya is run through with a spear; the kids will try to rectify the situation, but it seems that the situaiton is hopeless.
The man-- Nyarlathotep-- is taunting them. A hot, white energy will explode across the scene. The scene will either repeat or end from here.
The Highs
There's another, adult figure standing nearby, but it's hard to tell anything about them until one gets closer.
