Summary: Xehanort draws a large amount of the tower into worlds constructed from their dreams in an attempt to learn about everyone en masse

[Tendrils of magic wound their way around, lines of energy flickered into existence, forming a large shape on the ground around where Xehanort sat with his back straight and legs tucked neatly beneath him. Perfect. It was a bigger scale than the one he'd done but a month before, already he could feel the flickers of connection, the shape getting brighter and more defined.

More participants. More mental drag. There was little to worry about. With Xigbar on guard duty, his sleeping body would be quite safe. No, it was time to dream... and see just who would follow.

Darkness shrouded his hand, keyblade flaring into life, and he gripped the handle in both hands, aiming it at the ground, at the keyhole defined by criss-crossing darkness responding, resonating...

drowsiness laced through him, the blade in his hands sagging downward until the tip touched the ground, his posture slacking, head and shoulders slumping slightly

in slumber, the dreams of others awaited

[Mondo's dream starts in the boy's locker room at Hope's Peak Academy. He's sitting at a bench, lifting weights, when someone else opens the door to the locker...]

[Chihiro first approaches the girl's locker room then looks around rather nervously to make sure no one can see him, before slipping over quickly to the boy's locker room, beeping his card on the card reader and ducking inside.

When happily greets Mondo when he sees him already inside.]

Oowada-kun!

[mustlovedogs]

[He looks up, raising a hand in a wave.]

Ou. So you came, huh. So, what's up!

[cutestprogrammer]

Mn... well... there is something I was wondering whether you could help me with...

[mustlovedogs]

Ah? What's that? Aren't you scared of breaking the nighttime rule?

[cutestprogrammer]

I'm not. I'm not afraid. I... I... Can you please help me train and be strong like you, Oowada-kun??

[mustlovedogs]

...Really? Me? You don't think I'm gonna yell at you? Why don't you ask Oogami?

[cutestprogrammer]

I...

[But Oogami is scarier than Mondo... he can just tell you're a good person despite your scary appearance and you did defend him against Togami... even if it did hurt when you called him weak... and then there's now he's absolutely sure you'll keep his secret for him if he told you, what with all you've said about a 'man's promise'. Chihiro takes a deep breath. Here goes!]

But I can't really go to Oogami-san because well, you see... I... I'm actually a boy... I'm sorry...

[mustlovedogs]

...What, seriously?!

[He stares for a moment, unsure of what to do or say. It's shocking, of course, but, why is he apologising? It certainly didn't hurt Mondo in any way, and why should it? Chihiro doesn't need to feel badly for it, he can do whatever he wants!]

Wait, what're you telling me for? You didn't tell anybody else, right?

[cutestprogrammer]

[he nods]

I haven't told anyone else... because... because I'm not ready yet...

I... I want to get stronger first before letting everyone know. I don't want to live this lie anymore! I want to be stronger and I really hope you can help me, Oowada-kun, because you're the strongest person I know!

[mustlovedogs]

[He's starting to get suspicious already - why should Chihiro ask him of all people, when he seems to have been afraid of Mondo until now?]

What're you telling me for? You really think you can trust somebody like me?

[cutestprogrammer]

[He nods] I... I was scared of you but... now that I've known you for a while, I-I can see that you are a good and trustworthy person, Oowada-kun! You're always trying your best to help the others here and... and... you defended me against Togami-kun that time.

You-you're always so strong and brave, Oowada-kun! I really want to be like you! You've always been strong, haven't you? I want to be strong like you, Oowada-kun! I don't want to live a lie anymore!

[mustlovedogs]

[He grits his teeth, trying to keep calm as his irritation and suspicion grows. strongstrongstrongstrongstrong]

Didn't I call you weak and yell at you? You forgetting about that, or just trying to trick me? ...You know, don't you? That's the only thing I can think of! You looked at my card, aa?!

[cutestprogrammer]

... [Why... why do you look so angry...? He can't understand it at all but he's not about to give up yet, turn and run. He's decided to change and he'll see go through with it till the end!]

Yes... you did, but-but still you stood up for me... I... [he shakes his head] No. I didn't, Oowada-kun! I'm not trying to trick you! I really do think you're very strong! And you've always been strong, haven't you?

[Not weakweakweakweakweakweakweak like me...]

[mustlovedogs]

...So that's it? You want me to admit it? You want me to say my secret, tell you how I'm weak?! Then what, you're gonna tell everybody else too?! You're all gonna have a real good laugh at me?!

[cutestprogrammer]

No... That's not what I intended at all. You don't have to tell me your secret. I really just wanted you to help me train...

[mustlovedogs]

Aa, you're damn right you didn't! I ain't weak...

[cutestprogrammer]

You aren't weak at all... I'm the weak one...

[mustlovedogs]

[He mutters under his breath, grinding his teeth together.]

That's right...never been weak, I'm strong...

[cutestprogrammer]

Mn! Oowada-kun is really, really strong!

[mustlovedogs]

[He repeats it to himself several times, trying to drill it in, to convince himself there's nothing to worry about. He doesn't even look at Chihiro while he does this, his eyes fixed on his own feet.]

[cutestprogrammer]

... [he moves a little closer, out of concern for his classmate] ... Oowada-kun?

[mustlovedogs]

[He grabs Chihiro's wrist.]

What?! What d'you want?!

[cutestprogrammer]

[He cries out in surprise and fear then begins to shake.]

I-I-I told you already... I... I just wanted you to help me... O-Oowada-kun....

[mustlovedogs]

You fucking listening? Ain't what I asked! What're you coming closer for, aa?!
