i found you myself, it's only natural you'd fall in love with me (OPEN)
Characters: Haruhi Suzumiya and YOU!
Setting: Everywhere and anywhere.
Format: Starting with prose, but will match you!
Summary: Enter one very annoyed brigade leader. Who will be investigating the tower top to bottom.
Warnings: None at the moment, but possible cursing and harassment.
The first thought in Haruhi's mind wasn't that she was kidnapped, or even the mere fact that she wasn't in Nishinomiya, no way. The first thing she thought was that this place was so amazing!
'Your world has been destroyed?' Ha, as if. That wasn't very likely at all, and she knew it. After all, she wasn't the ultra detective, the supersleuth for nothing. If there wasn't any solid proof, then those words held no truth to them at all. Which is why this detective isn't going to stop until she finds out what exactly is going on.
She knew that this was a big tower, and that the outfit she was wearing wasn't exactly suitable for roaming around a place as big and vast as this. She did have her North High uniform, but she couldn't be bothered changing to it. At least, not now. There were more important things to take care of. The first question that came to mind was: 'Where are the other brigade members?' They were important to her, and plus, if they were truly missing, she would have another problem on her hands. The chief was supposed to take care of her members, each and every single one of them! If she failed them, she failed herself.
But at least, for the moment, she was alive. Trying to be as enthusiastic as she could, she pumped her fist into the air, calling out as loud as we can, "Alright! Time for the supersleuth to do some sleuthing!" But what she didn't know was how horrible things can get in a mysterious place. It was just like a mystery novel, wasn't it...
Though that's not going to stop Haruhi from checking each floor.
Now it was time to move onwards!

Now it was time to move onwards!

Haruhi folded her arms, tilting her head to the side as she looked down on her dress. Ah, right. Shaking her head in disagreement, she frowned. Out of all the crazy things that anyone could have said to her, that was what was asked. "Of course not, stupid. It's a traditional outfit from China, China."
no subject
"Never heard of it..." Reaching up she grabs a hold of the branch and pulls herself right side up again. Shifting around to face Haruhi she kicks her legs looking all the more disgruntled.
"And don't call me stupid."
no subject
Are you kidding? Haruhi taps her foot impatiently, folding her arms over her chest. "But you totally are! Unless..." A light bulb immediately popped up, the brigade chief's eyes lighting up immediately. "Could you be... an alien? Someone who hasn't heard about Earth, or the Milky Way galaxy!"
She's way too enthusiastic about this discovery.
no subject
"Of course I've heard of Earth, I just don't know where China is," she finished off with a frown. Even though she was used to the jabs at her memory and intelligence it still didn't make them any less annoying.

Haruhi was surely confused. Tilting her head to the side, she thought for a second before opening her mouth, clearly surprised. "But aren't fireflies small?!"
And honestly, how could someone know the Earth, but not any of the contients?
no subject
"Yeah, I'm a firefly yokai," she stated, pointing to the antenna on her head. She was smaller than everyone she'd met, both here and back home (except for maybe the fairies) so the comment didn't really seem confusing for her.
no subject
"You should have said you're a yokai to begin with!" Her hands her on her hips, and she was immediately pouting, quite disappointed, but at the same time excited. The brigade chief's eyes immediately light up excitedly.
"Hey, hey, if you're a yokai, you must have some sort of special powers, right?!"
no subject
"I can control insects, but there are some parts of the tower where I can't use any powers at all."
no subject
That sounded quite disappointing, to tell the truth. Haruhi sighed, placing her hands on her hips as she thought things through a little bit. As an investigator, she had to know all the facts, through and through.
"And what do you mean by that -- "some parts of the tower where I can't use any powers at all"?"
no subject
"I mean there are some parts of the tower where I can't use my powers," she repeated with much irritation. "Like, I can't fly or control insects or use danmaku or anything. It happens on this floor and I know there are others."

Twirling a bit of her hair with her index finger, she spoke, a bit uneasy. “So basically you’re saying that you have no idea and you’re completely useless in my investigation.” Maybe she should just go somewhere else to investigate. Sure, she might have said that she was a ‘firefly yokai,’ but was there proof? Not at the moment, at least.
no subject
"But I bet you don't have any idea either!"
no subject
Haruhi merely flips her hair, a grin forming. "But I only just go here, you know."
As if that were a viable excuse.
no subject
By now her interest in the conversation was fading and she went back to hauling her way up the trunk of the tree she just jumped out of.
"But this place is confusing anyway. I don't think it makes sense even when you've been here a long time."
no subject
There was a slight laugh as she flipped her hair.
no subject
"It won't work in some places, but I forget exactly where..." Didn't she already say that? How can you forget when you're on the floor they won't work?
