i found you myself, it's only natural you'd fall in love with me (OPEN)
Characters: Haruhi Suzumiya and YOU!
Setting: Everywhere and anywhere.
Format: Starting with prose, but will match you!
Summary: Enter one very annoyed brigade leader. Who will be investigating the tower top to bottom.
Warnings: None at the moment, but possible cursing and harassment.
The first thought in Haruhi's mind wasn't that she was kidnapped, or even the mere fact that she wasn't in Nishinomiya, no way. The first thing she thought was that this place was so amazing!
'Your world has been destroyed?' Ha, as if. That wasn't very likely at all, and she knew it. After all, she wasn't the ultra detective, the supersleuth for nothing. If there wasn't any solid proof, then those words held no truth to them at all. Which is why this detective isn't going to stop until she finds out what exactly is going on.
She knew that this was a big tower, and that the outfit she was wearing wasn't exactly suitable for roaming around a place as big and vast as this. She did have her North High uniform, but she couldn't be bothered changing to it. At least, not now. There were more important things to take care of. The first question that came to mind was: 'Where are the other brigade members?' They were important to her, and plus, if they were truly missing, she would have another problem on her hands. The chief was supposed to take care of her members, each and every single one of them! If she failed them, she failed herself.
But at least, for the moment, she was alive. Trying to be as enthusiastic as she could, she pumped her fist into the air, calling out as loud as we can, "Alright! Time for the supersleuth to do some sleuthing!" But what she didn't know was how horrible things can get in a mysterious place. It was just like a mystery novel, wasn't it...
Though that's not going to stop Haruhi from checking each floor.
Now it was time to move onwards!

When he notices her near though he's snapped out of his thoughts instead though, staring at her. A girl walking past in that outfit.. dude, dude, dude..
If only he would be staring a little less obviously. ]
no subject
So she wasn't the only person here, after all.]
Hey, you! What are you staring at?
no subject
I-I just was-- [ wait, Leon, this is a girl, keep your cool..! look cool!! ] .. Looking at you, of course! I mean.. [ deep breath, and here he gives the coolest look he can manage.
it still looks dumb.] I was just wondering if it hurt.. when you fell from heaven.[ AW YEAH, SO SMOOTH. ]

[Haruhi sounds completely deadpan as she side-eyes him. But if he's going to attempt to try that stupid line on her again, she'll hurt him.]
no subject
Man, that's so cold.. Won't you even give it a chance?! You don't know what you're missing!

[Cafeteria]
Unfortunately, it did mean she still had to dwell on it a good deal. The problems being presented to her weren't ones she could just break down with sheer power, and that did put her at a significant disadvantage.
It was distracting, and as she finished up her meal and began to head out to further contemplate these things... well, she very well might have ended up running straight into someone due to those distractions.

Taking a deep breath in, she ran into the closest person, waving frantically as she adjusted her armband that read "supersleuth" before grinning directly at Nanoha, standing right in front of her.
"Hi there!"
... Best way to bother someone, right?
no subject
What she wasn't used to seeing was someone so excited to be here. That did throw her, for just a moment, before she stopped herself short from running right into the other girl. She adopted a polite smile, nodding.
"Oh, hello there. Sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going."
no subject
For once, Haruhi was being polite, shaking her head. Even though she normally acted strange and eccentric, she was sane enough to keep her calm at times like this. She was and always will be the ultra detective, after all.
"It's my fault, anyway. I was wondering... you don't happen to have any information about this place, do you?"

But was this guy actually cosplaying?
"Hey, you! In the armor! Is that real?" She tilts her head to the right slightly, her hand on her chin, thinking.
no subject
It looked strange, he knew, but this was the first time anyone ever wondered whether it was real...
no subject
Haruhi thought to herself before a lightbulb appeared in her head. There was only one way to prove if it was real or not.
"Can I tap it, then?"

Floor 32
Clambering over the trees she hung upside down from one of the lower branches, her cape dangling behind her. Even if Haruhi wasn't close she'd call out for her all the same.
"Hey! Why is there a dragon on your dress?" she shouted, the pressure in her head starting to grow as the blood drained downwards. "Are you a dragon?"
no subject
Haruhi folded her arms, tilting her head to the side as she looked down on her dress. Ah, right. Shaking her head in disagreement, she frowned. Out of all the crazy things that anyone could have said to her, that was what was asked. "Of course not, stupid. It's a traditional outfit from China, China."
no subject
"Never heard of it..." Reaching up she grabs a hold of the branch and pulls herself right side up again. Shifting around to face Haruhi she kicks her legs looking all the more disgruntled.
"And don't call me stupid."
no subject
Are you kidding? Haruhi taps her foot impatiently, folding her arms over her chest. "But you totally are! Unless..." A light bulb immediately popped up, the brigade chief's eyes lighting up immediately. "Could you be... an alien? Someone who hasn't heard about Earth, or the Milky Way galaxy!"
She's way too enthusiastic about this discovery.

But as soon as she heard the voice, she scrambled. She'd gone to great lengths to hide herself during her stay: sleeping minimally, during the times no one else was in her dorm room, being everywhere--anywhere else possible.
Haruhi might manage to catch a flash of leathery bat-like wings diving in between the tables and drawers.]
no subject
Even the places that were kind of... 'gross'. But when she enters, Haruhi definitely notices those bat wings. Could there actually be bats here?]
Hello? Anyone here...!
no subject
Curiously, her collar shrinks with her, remaining around the bat's neck.]
no subject
Hm... ah! [She notices the surgical tools and her eyes widen at that.] What are these doing here...

Assuming Haruhi would enter the room - the phrase 'curiosity killed the cat' comes to mind - she would be met with the sight of a man in a futuristic business suit seated at a desk, staring into the source of the green light in an almost trancelike state; unblinking and perfectly still. That is, until he sees Haruhi.
He finally blinks, and looks away from the Compass, one of its rings rotating much more erratically than the other, which was barely moving at all. Wilhelm casually reaches for his glass of wine, takes a sip, and motions for her to enter.
"It would appear that this place seems to enjoy bringing in the young," Wilhelm muses, looking her over. That's an awfully fancy outfit for this setting. "I wonder why. A sense of cruelty? Or is it something else, which the Compass refuses to show me?"
no subject
The brigade chief blinks twice, quite surprised at the sight. She didn’t expect anyone to actually notice her, even though she was wearing these clothes for the sole reason of being noticed. But the question was this: how exactly did he know that she was new?
Was it because the tower had only a few amount of people? Ha, that was ridiculous. But she had to ask about that statement, since it was odd. At least, to her.
“Oh? So there are a bunch of people my age here?”
no subject
He then motioned to the seat in front of him. "Do you play chess?" he asked calmly, as the music began to pick up into the crescendo.
no subject
Sure, she didn't think that chess was the most amusing game in the world, but she did play it occasionally. It was a boring game, after all.
