Case 1 - A Strange Land [Open]

Summary: Raidou searches for the boss battle he has to kill in order to escape this nightmare.
Warnings: None yet!

[Waking up in strange places was not necessarily a habit, even if it was not something he had been unaccustomed to. However, Gouto's absence made this far more sinister than he had expected. Upon reading the note, his first resort had been to retrieve his blade. His second was to slip silently from the dormitory room to explore the halls.

...some savior the writer of that note had been. From the looks of this place it was no safer than the world he had left.

A pang of guilt stirred in his chest at the thought. If it was true- No. No, that was not possible. They were going to stop the insects. Nobody was going to destroy the world he had sworn to protect. But what the nagging thought wouldn't leave. Raidou did not so much run as bolt down the hallways, his boots clattering on the floor. If this was another trick of the enemy then there should be an enemy to defeat in order to return home.

He'd just have to take down anything that tried to stop him in order to find it. This had to be an illusion.

He really hoped so, anyway.]

... I've heard about people trying to leave those ways, and in the end they ended up dying and found themselves back in the tower when they revived.

Items that revive from the dead. Jin Dans and Balms of Life are both items that fulfil that purpose.

Whoa, I see... I'm not sure what it is that revives people here, but it seems like when people die, they're revived the next day and wake up in their rooms.

I've never heard of that before... but it doesn't seem out of the bounds of reality, even outside of this place.

[They can steal strands of hair, but tossing an item to Raidou is too much.]

Yeah, and this place tends to screw around with reality sometimes... [She sighs quietly, before she remembers something.]

Oh, sorry, I haven't introduced myself yet! I'm April, it's nice to meet you, despite the circumstances.

Um, yes. My surname is Sinclair, though I don't tend to give it out much. [Raidou is probably the first person she's actually said it to, since that's how often she gives it out.]

Ehe, it sounds like it.

[He nods slightly. It's not as if he ever gives his real name out, after all. Only Gouto and the Yatagarasu have it.]
