[001] Intro Post - Open~
Characters: Mary Magdalene and anyone she meets
Setting: Dorm room, halls, wherever else Mary wanders; mid-morning
Format: Prose to start but I'll switch to bracket spam if anyone prefers that
Summary: Panic, lots of it. Mary wakes up to find that her world is gone (which is pretty much her entire universe because she exists like... everywhere, thanks KOS-MOS/T-elos) and that she failed in her purpose to protect it.
Warnings: None, Mary's a good girl. Might have swearing, depending on who she meets, but it won't be from her.
The letters that she'd found had giving her reason to cry. And cry she did, dropped to her knees and wrapping her arms tightly around her knees for a good long time. Did that mean that Shion was gone? Yeshua? What about all her friends? Was she alone now? Mary didn't want to be alone, she couldn't stand being alone. It was why she had traveled with the Messiah, Yeshua and their followers. It was a group of people, all joined together with one purpose in mind.
And they were all gone. Were their souls gone too? Or did they safely migrate elsewhere? Souls were forever, even if they had fallen to pieces and spread throughout the UMN. Eventually, they could be pieces together and a person reborn. It had happened to her, in a way, when her soul had been attached to KOS-MOS and when her body was used to create T-elos.
Another sob wracked her body but she finally got up from the floors and wiped at her eyes. They were puffy and pink from crying but she didn't honestly care. In her time, appearance wasn't important only the way you behaved around people and treated them. With a deep breath to try to center herself, Mary stepped out into the hall with the letters clutched tightly in hand as if to give herself courage.

"I've just never liked being alone. I always traveled with a group of those closest to me until they were taken away." And she died within a month of that happening but they were only a tiny bit linked. Truthfully, Mary preferred how blunt Naminé was. It reminded her of her own time, when speaking your mind was encouraged among the Messiah's followers. It wasn't often encouraged when in Rome or other, more powerful, places but it was among their group.

"They were born again though, in a time that couldn't hurt them for their beliefs."

"Forgive my negligence, I'm Mary Magdalene, and you are? We should get to know each others names, at the very least, if we're to be sharing a room." She smiled cheerfully, letting her swift change of topic shift her mood.

"--It's alright, it was my fault, too. It's nice to meet you, Mary. My name is Naminé." Taking a cue from that cheerfulness, she smiled back.
