Summary: So the Shadow Event was Hell (haha), a few of them grabbed some booze from various sources(?!), so iiiiiiit's PARTY TIME~
Warnings: Somehow srs discussions in one thread and underage drinking in others? I don't even know, man.

So the last seven days had been a misty hell in the tower surrounded by fog... literally.

Sure, this was likely the normal aside from the fog... but that didn't mean that the residents didn't need some time to blow off some steam every now and then, and for the Persona users? It had been extremely rough on them with all the Shadows manifesting. That also included their own. Especially included their own in some cases (ow, Naoya...).

It didn't take much, just a small filtered ~~and handwaved~~ message to the other Persona users that Yu knew from either running into them in the battle for everyone's sanity in the past week or before then. "Bring what you can get your hands on," he said, but to the leaders there was also "we need to talk." Because there had been a long period of time where they hadn't spoken as a group... and after bribing Strega with a few rounds of Halo and possible drinking games if they could get their hands on some booze, he'd headed back up to the media floor...

There were no fancy decorations, but he had picked up what was disrupted from the fighting and cleaned like whoa. Everything was set up with whatever few snacks he'd saved in his trunk from the previous month.

[Naoya had invited her to come to this, so of course she wasn't going to turn down an invitation. Except, even after facing her Shadow, April is still a bit... socially awkward.

Which is why she's gonna be a wallflower and stick to a wall until she can stop being a bit nervous.]

[Hello April, hope you didn't mind a flower in your face, because Jun was offering one. He vaguely recognized you from the Shadow Naoya fight!]

[Blink, blink at the flower in her face, but she soon takes it with a small smile. And she recognizes him too.]

Um, thanks... And I'm fine, just a bit nervous.

You shouldn't be; most of the people here are friendly enough.

[Y'know if you, avoided Strega and Shinnjiro or Tatsuya in a bad mood.] I'm sure you wouldn't be here if they didn't care enough, after all.

[She blinks again, and then sheepishly rubs the back of her neck.]

Y-yeah, I guess... I've just, um, never been good around groups.

Honestly? Me neither. [He gives a small shrug, that was a bit sheepish himself.]

But sometimes it's not too bad. Safety in numbers and all that, right?

Ehe, yeah, that's right. [She gives a nod.] I'll admit, I'm used to working on my own, but this place has taught me that isn't always the best idea.

I know what you mean. [Spending near-on seven years with little to no social interaction hey-o.]

I suppose I'm still getting used to it myself. But you've certainly proven yourself to be dependable.

[And a smile.] My name's Jun Kurosu. A proper introduction may be a bit over due.

[ Hey, April. Don't mind if this blue-haired kid shows up nearby to wallflower with you, a bunch of CDs in his hands. ]

Feeling kind of awkward here, right?

[ It's okay--he is, too. ]

[She glances over at him, and gives a small, nervous smile as she nods.]

R-right... I've never been that great at being around groups of people, even if it's only a small group.

[ And now for the most serious advice: ]

[ Said with the most deadpan of tones, before going on. ]

I'm not really that good with groups either, my friends and I are kind of not... socialites.

[Blink, blink. And then she bursts into giggles for a moment before speaking again.]

Ehe, I'll keep that in mind... And nice to know that I'm not alone in that, though I'm guessing the booze will probably help me loosen up later.

[ Success! He got her to giggle. He's not even trying to hit on her, just help her feel less awkward. Minato jams his hands in his pockets and shrugs. ]

It doesn't hurt if you can handle it, and I've been working on mixing some interesting stuff and keeping it cold if you do want anything specific. Fortunately for us, I trust everyone here to be a completely irresponsible adult and make sure everyone is belting out stupid songs within the hour.

[ He's joking, of course. ]

[That gets another laugh from her.]

If you want, I can help you out with that since I know a thing or two about alcohol.

[ Now that gets a smile from HIM, a rare thing. He likes this woman. He can't help but make some jokes right now; it's just in his nature. ]

April like the month, huh? Likewise. And I think that'll be perfect. Consider yourself drafted into the specialized drink mixing party for awesome people. We can pretend to be the classy bartenders that know everything about the local gossip.

[ And now, he removes his hands from his pockets, gesturing to party in general, and the attendees. ]

Good to meet someone who's lived a little, anyway. I'm not exactly wildly irresponsible, but you know, sometimes you need to just go do something because it's there.

Ehe, thanks! I'll do my best to, well, pretend to be the classiest bartender. [She gives a small grin, before nodding on agreement.]

Yeah, especially after what's happened recently. And an evening of just getting drunk and having fun is always good.

[ Hehehe. ]

Pretty much. So April, you said you felt a little out of place... I don't think it could be too much worse than me right now. I'm pretty sure I don't even remotely belong next to these guys, they're all too straight-forward or something.

Ah, so they're all like the serious types, then?

[ He shakes his head. ]

Not... exactly, really. It's just a little awkward--my friends and I didn't get our abilities the same way they got theirs, and ours don't function the same way. We're kind of also not... well, we don't operate anywhere close to how Narukami's team doesn, I guess you could say?

Feels a little weird to be here, but you don't look a gift horse in the mouth, or something like that.

[That's okay, considering what happened with his own. When he spots her, he comes over and waves, smiling.]

I'm glad you accepted the invitation. I could show you around if you'd like.

[She gives him a smile and a wave back as he approaches.]

Well, there was no way I could say no... And, ah, sure, if that's okay with you.

[He gives her a motion to follow him.]

Ah, all right. [She gives a small nod, shoving her hands into her shorts pockets as she goes to follow.]
