Summary: So the Shadow Event was Hell (haha), a few of them grabbed some booze from various sources(?!), so iiiiiiit's PARTY TIME~
Warnings: Somehow srs discussions in one thread and underage drinking in others? I don't even know, man.

So the last seven days had been a misty hell in the tower surrounded by fog... literally.

Sure, this was likely the normal aside from the fog... but that didn't mean that the residents didn't need some time to blow off some steam every now and then, and for the Persona users? It had been extremely rough on them with all the Shadows manifesting. That also included their own. Especially included their own in some cases (ow, Naoya...).

It didn't take much, just a small filtered and handwaved message to the other Persona users that Yu knew from either running into them in the battle for everyone's sanity in the past week or before then. "Bring what you can get your hands on," he said, but to the leaders there was also "we need to talk." Because there had been a long period of time where they hadn't spoken as a group... and after bribing Strega with a few rounds of Halo and possible drinking games if they could get their hands on some booze, he'd headed back up to the media floor...

There were no fancy decorations, but he had picked up what was disrupted from the fighting and cleaned like whoa. Everything was set up with whatever few snacks he'd saved in his trunk from the previous month.

Hey, your normal voice is fine, you know. I think it's nice. But... you can do it if you want to. The point is to have fun, after all.

[ And now he looks through the library hmmm--oh hey, this is an awesome song. He likes a lot of English bands... maybe he'll go with this one. ]

[ She'll decide to stick with her normal voice for now and notices the song he chooses before giving her official stamp of approval. ]

[ No problem, Robosis! He likes this song anyway. Duet time! ]

... Well, I'll tell you a secret: I really like this band and this song. So it's fun to have someone to sing it with who will probably appreciate it.

[ And then he presses the button and the music starts, along with the lyrics.

As they begin singing, it seems like he's enjoying himself and has no problem with Sertoria being beside him at all, loose as can be.

When he really gets into it is around the chorus, though--

"And if I go crazy then will you still call me Superman?

I'll keep you by my side with my superhuman might
Kryptonite..."

He doesn't sing very often, but he's not bad at all. In fact, his voice is pretty decent. ]

[ Sertoria has modified her vocal output just a bit so that she'd be able to hit the notes and keep the tone that's in the song. ]

I will do my best.

[ She joins in on the chorus and soon sings another set of lyrics--

She's actually a decent singer when she really gets into a song. ]

The song continues, nearing its end with a few repeats of that chorus. They make a decent team after all, and soon the song continues until it's done.

The machine gives them a very solid rating of 8 out of 10! He grins when they're done, genuinely. Sertoria wasn't bad. ]

... Told you you'd be fine. You've got a good voice. I wouldn't change it too much. ... It's what makes you you, right? I haven't done this in a really long time. I went to a concert once, a long time ago. ... Well, I've been to several. I snuck into all of them, of course--almost got caught a few times, but there's nothing like seeing a band live. I'd love to play...

[ What do you know, she's grinning just as wide as he is. Spending time with others relatively around her apparent age? Well, it was really fun. She had to tell Doc later of the fun she had after this!

After the song is done, she changes back to her normal tone and gives Minato a nod. ]

Exactly. And... if you would like, I could talk to someone who could make that possible for you - to play an instrument, that is. It would take us several days, maybe even a month, but I would love to see you officially play.

[ He looks really surprised by this suggestion, usually he's not overly emotional, but he just never had time in his life to learn anything because of all the hectic stuff going on.

Mostly, it was him always worrying for others and not himself. But... it had always been a small dream to play. He just decided to forgo it and listen to music instead. His fascination had begun with his parents--his mother played piano, and his father liked many different things. Music was part of his life even before they'd died, and he remembers a time he took piano lessons before the crash, but only barely.

For a long moment, he looks at Sertoria, quiet. ]

... Well I know we have a music room, I just...

[ He never... he never really thought about it. He was always so busy thinking of others, he's only just now realizing he himself kind of... exists. ]

Never considered it, I suppose. ... Who?

[ He's... he's honestly curious now, but cautious--and a little bemused. Him? Playing? Doing something that was for enjoyment and not for practical reasons? It's weird to him. ]

But, it is not the same as owning your own instrument, right?

[ The sense of ownership of anything is still a very big thing with her since she didn't have much when she was first activated. She had to work for her belongings, and even then, they were taken away if she disobeyed. Thus, the reason behind placing so much value on owning your own things for personal enjoyment festered and eventually settled into her terrific AI. ]

Doc Brown. Have you met him? If not, he is a terrific man and a brilliant inventor. I am sure he will be able to help you design something to make it yours since I can tell music is a big thing in your life.

[ Oh... o-oh, my... he's not sure how to feel. You're really too nice, Sertoria. He's just not used to being treated this kindly. Or being the focus of anything. It's really, really confusing. You hit the nail on the head, though; owning things himself was very important.

He'd lost everything that day ten years ago once already, after all. ]

I wouldn't want to bother him. He's probably busy with more important projects.

[ Be kind to her and she'll be kind to you. Even if you're a jerk, she'll try to be polite since it was what she was taught to do. So, doing things like this makes her happy and feel like she's helping in some way. ]

Do not worry, we can fit it in. I am sure that the more work we are given, the better. If nothing else, it will distract us from what is going on in the tower and keep ourselves busy. That, and I am sure he would not mind someone else to make friends with.

I guess that's true. We moved around a lot back home. ... It'll be good to get our information network back up, anyway. There wasn't anything in a place we didn't know about it, usually. It's odd not to have the same advantage here.
