Summary: So the Shadow Event was Hell (haha), a few of them grabbed some booze from various sources(?!), so iiiiiiit's PARTY TIME~
Warnings: Somehow srs discussions in one thread and underage drinking in others? I don't even know, man.

So the last seven days had been a misty hell in the tower surrounded by fog... literally.

Sure, this was likely the normal aside from the fog... but that didn't mean that the residents didn't need some time to blow off some steam every now and then, and for the Persona users? It had been extremely rough on them with all the Shadows manifesting. That also included their own. Especially included their own in some cases (ow, Naoya...).

It didn't take much, just a small filtered and handwaved message to the other Persona users that Yu knew from either running into them in the battle for everyone's sanity in the past week or before then. "Bring what you can get your hands on," he said, but to the leaders there was also "we need to talk." Because there had been a long period of time where they hadn't spoken as a group... and after bribing Strega with a few rounds of Halo and possible drinking games if they could get their hands on some booze, he'd headed back up to the media floor...

There were no fancy decorations, but he had picked up what was disrupted from the fighting and cleaned like whoa. Everything was set up with whatever few snacks he'd saved in his trunk from the previous month.

[She ducks her head under pretense of checking the placement of her feet as she swallows thickly, trying to keep the nervousness (and her heart rate) to a minimum. She straightens back up a moment later and follows his lead in their dance, doing her best to keep her eyes on his shoulder and no higher.]

Enjoy it, it kind of hurts my face a little to do.

[Teasing again, but a little less lightly this time, just so she can try and make him wonder if she's being serious or not.]

The alcohol certainly isn't going to hurt matters though, once it kicks in.

[ He lets out a small, amused noise at her words. It's true. But it turns out he's not too bad at this, really; who'd've thought? Sadly, he's mostly oblivious to anything else going on with Chidori. You can't always be good at reading people, Minato. At least he tries. ]

[ Even right now he can't help joking with her. It's his way of saying he's glad she's all right, and that they're... not apart. You know, okay, again. Relatively speaking, as okay as they can get, given them being Strega as a baseline. ]

[You know...normally he wouldn't be doing any of this. Naoya kept mostly to himself. But after the entire Shadow event, he had an urge to poke more, both good and bad.

In this situation, intentions were up in the air. Mischievous or helpful? Regardless, Minato, that's a nice song and he's going to let you finish, but...actually no he's not. This situation requires something more oomph. He slowly faded it before the slow drums began in the back as the Karaoke machine was being used for something else. Naoya's voice was clearly not as deep or perfect sounding, but his heart was there.

Besides...this song is classy as hell. Even Lucifer would agree.]

[Oh dear god, Naoya please.

Chidori's eyes peer up at him over Minato's shoulders, widening meaningfully at the boy at the karaoke machine, and quickly lowers her eyes again before Minato sees, resisting the urge to facepalm. She honestly hopes it's just coincidental timing, but she's not sure Naoya thinks much of subtlety with this sort of thing at the moment.

...she doesn't hold out very long before she does it anyway, pressing the heel of her hand between her eyes and giving a muttered 'unbelievable!'

Seriously, just... why... did you do that? Why are you singing that? This is not the song he randomly selected, you have ruined his silly intent.

Not that it occurs to him what's going on in this situation really, but all he knows is Naoya is being really incredibly rude. Then again, it's a party, so he'll let it go.

He is, indeed, too dense to figure it out. Because that is not something he would ever consider. ... Ever. Sigh. ]

[Oh thank god for Minato being thicker than a brick wall. Chidori shook her head a little and raised her shoulders in a shrug, looking at Naoya pointedly again as they swayed back into a position in which she could.]

I guess not. This one isn't so bad though.

[She let herself lean a little closer, trying to enjoy the rest of the dance while it lasted.]
