Summary: Set immediately after this thread. Ed and Sollux have parted ways and he'd really like to know more about where he is. :|b
Warnings: Ed's mouth. That's about it for now.

Ed and Sollux had parted ways and he, for one, wasn't complaining. He had more important things to do. Things like finding out if this letter was for real. Somewhere in this tower he would find what he was looking for. I mean, Amestris couldn't be gone... right?

I've been hearing a lot of different things about this place. Some people are sure our worlds are gone, some aren't sure and then there's a few who think they're all still there. What makes you so sure?

Because I'm The Doctor.

[he doesn't look very impressed, crossing his arms over his chest, but a moment later a bit of a smile appears.]

No. I know. Because I'm The Doctor. I have gut feelings, and twice the heart feelings, and way more thinky thoughts because I'm a Time Lord.

[OH WELL THEN. Don't mind him, he's just going to ROLL HIS EYES AT YOU FOREVER.]

Time Lord. Lord of Time. Time traveler. The Doctor. An alien from Gallifrey.

It's funny. Two hours ago I would have said that time travel was impossible. Still does, to be honest. There's theories, of course, but nothing based on anything substantial.

Anything's possible, you know, especially with me.

Heh. Someone told me something similar to that not too long ago. You'd think I'd have learned by now.
