Ed and Sollux had parted ways and he, for one, wasn't complaining. He had more important things to do. Things like finding out if this letter was for real. Somewhere in this tower he would find what he was looking for. I mean, Amestris couldn't be gone... right?

Alchemy? [Oh He remembers that, the beginning of science. Mostly where people were floundering and trying to turn lead into gold before they figured out they were who completely different elements that could never become one or the other.]

Not exactly. It's possible to make gold, but not from lead. Those are two completely different elements.

Yea, I'm a country. There's a few of us here in the tower. Most are female... which is fucking weird seeing as most of the ones I know are male.

Never heard of Amestris though.

Yeah, theres an entire floor that's a massive library. Although, its pretty confusing because it doesn't... apply to the actual physical space of the tower. It's massive.
