The People United Will Never Be Defeated!
Characters: Everyone interested in getting back into their body
Setting: 9/18, after this post (may be extended to following days)
Format: Action, prose, whatever you'd like to go with!
Summary: Dax Is A Bro and left a clue. Now it's up to the Tower residence to unite and figure it out.
Warnings: None as of yet, will be adapted as needed.
[After making that post - the first he is aware of - Riku just sighs (one that turns into a cough all of sudden... don't tell him he's coming down with something on top of everything else?!).
There is really no telling how many people will follow his call out, but hopefully there will be some at least. And hopefully they will have more idea what this clue means than he does.
He turns his seat towards the entrance of the floor. Time to see who would turn up.]

I can agree to that. Of course I'm willing to help any other way you might need it, too.

I'll work with Naoya at the computer to make it go faster, and grab the liquids if I have to. If we get too overwhelmed, I'll help you guys with defense.
threadjacking up in here
Why not have two people working on the computer at the same time? That way, the work is divided and we can find an answer that much quicker.
[ Seriously, the girl can type at inhuman speed as well as process things quite fast. ]

[Who the hell are you you crazy old man]
no subject
[ She'll just point to the android in the room for clarification. ]
no subject
Exactly. Your original body's an android. Right now you're just a decrepit old man who's probably on the cusp of arthritis and senility. My original body's got more muscle fatigue and biological problems than a cancer patient. But in this body I can run as fast as an Olympic athlete.
no subject
[ Sup, the original owner of this body heard that and he's not happy, especially for Sertoria. ]
As it is, this old body may even be more efficient than your current body. As they say, do not judge a book by its cover and if anything this particular misadventure gave all the more sense to this saying!

Though the...rejuvenation clinic stuff gets an eyebrow raise, and then most of it goes over his head. He wasn't exactly used to normal medical care.]
Fine. But that doesn't change the fact that your body probably doesn't have all the capabilities of an android. If she's gonna rely on how she used to do things, we'll be in trouble, because we need to adapt.
[And a look at Sertoria-- the real one, in Doc's body.] Look; if you want to help, then you can help guard and keep on the drones, but more than two people at one computer will get cumbersome. If I need to step in and fight, you can step in and help Naoya at the terminal.
[Really, he'd say he'll just help fight to make her shut up, but a) he doesn't trust her to do the important part, and b) while his body knew how to fight, he sure as hell didn't!]
If you wanna split up, then fine, but we're already pushing our odds of success just trying this. Splitting up could doom us like an 8bit horror movie.
no subject
As it is it seems like we've got more than enough people to pull this off. In this body I'm able to be a guard, and I'm definitely capable of stepping in on the terminal if I have to. That seems to be that case for most of us.
You've all dealt with this kind of thing longer than me so I'll leave it up to you, but splitting up might not necessarily be that hopeless.
no subject
Children. All of you. Stop being unreasonable and listen.
[She points to Doc and Sertoria.]
You two can work on data analysis after we get the information. That body won't be as effective as you think it will be, upgrades or no. And that android body isn't something you're going to get used to so fast, I think. Both of you can help fight, but don't try to interrupt the hacking.
[He looks at Jin in Suzaku's body.]
You and I will take care of the actual hacking. April, Enoch, and Asako will take care of main defense. Asako, if you have your COMP around, bring it to me as soon as you can. April, we'll talk about using the skills I have available.
The rest of you can help with defense and keeping a look out - but don't overestimate your abilities if you're in a new body. You are not as good as you think you are. I've seen plenty of idiots rush in and get beaten to a bloody pulp. Don't be one of them.
no subject
Good to know someone around here has a brain.
[And it was also the one he had to work with during the hacking. Yes, this was passable.]
The sooner we're capable of getting to work, the sooner we can stop bitching and you can all go back to your nice own bodies. If you wanna keep arguing and waste more time, then you'd be more productive sitting down on Jason's table yourself.
no subject
My COMP - I'll go get it, yeah.
[She snorts inelegantly at the 'sitting down on the table' idea, though.] Would jumping on it with intent to destroy it count as 'sitting down'?
no subject
[Congrats, she got a smirk out of him!]

THREADJACKING BECAUSE THIS IS RELEVANT TO IT'S INTEREST.
It recognizes April but is well aware of what is going on. It walks up next to the Not-Really-April once 'she' is done. ]
The one presently in possession of April's body is correct. You have not adjusted to the upgrades or downgrades your systems have been forcibly downloaded into. We would like to assist in the hacking. We can expedite the decryption process further using our programming in conjunction with your own skills. We would also be able to replicate any movements made in the video to within .473 percent accuracy, as we have memorized the video shown in its entirety.
[ It might also be able to analyze the footage better... ]
However, danger will be present as you have said. We are well-equipped for necessary self-defense procedures and can also create drones or shielding to help those who may need it. While hacking we may not be able to engage offensive mechanisms, however, thus the need to prepare beforehand. If you will allow it, we desire to help--if we are given your assistance during the hacking, we will be able to free up enough random access memory to engage offensive modes as well.

You are oddly adorable. Kind of like Black Frost!]
We need all the help we can get, so welcome aboard as far as I'm concerned!
no subject
both Asako's internal squee and Legion]Fine. Superhuman speed will be helpful. I may be able to transfer information to you - again, I'll need to speak to you about that, April.
[Ugh. At least his headache isn't as bad as it usually is. That's... a relief, honestly.]
no subject
Understood. We are also equipped with external computing software compatible with most devices, even of older make.
[ And here it displays it's holographic Omni-Tool, an orange sort of thing that pops up over it's hand.
To Asako, you get the feeling it's a little curious about you. ]
We have not met properly. We are Legion, a terminal of the Geth. We will do all we can to fix the operation errors that have occurred.
no subject
Nice to meet you, Legion, I'm Asako. The person in that body over there is my cousin Naoya, though right now he's...well, not himself, as you can see.
[...OH COOL YOU HAVE HOLOTECH yes good that looks awesome.]
no subject
[ Yep, it's got holotech AND awesome futuristic shields, too! It can also use said holotech to make a mini-robotic drone that fires lasers at things to distract them and help in combat. It also has two high-tech rifles, one an Assault Rifle, and one a Sniper Rifle. It's basically a tank.
While it's got the Omni-Tool out, though, Legion presses some buttons, runs a weird holo-type scan thing over Asako's body, then puts it away. Yeah it's running scans because it's curious. ]
... Asako. Genetic sequences are similar to human physiology with mutations. You have evolved past known humans, not unlike those with biotic abilities. The sequence is unrecognized. What do you identify as?

If Legion opens a channel or something for you, you'll be able to pass information to it. It's... Well, it's hard to explain, but you just have to think about sending the info over and it should work. The power is pretty much 'think of doing it and it'll happen'.
no subject
I'll have to teach you how to use the skills I have. That will require some... space.
[Megidolaon isn't a good idea in a space with people around unless you want to explode them okay.]
no subject
Anyway, Legion pauses to do exactly that: open a channel on the frequency it knows April's abilities can operate at. Don't worry, it's good at detecting that sort of thing. ]
We have opened a channel in Port 672. Access has been granted. We are now also remotely connected to the Terminal systems and can begin the decryption process whenever ready. We have analyzed the video and uploaded it into our own memory banks.
We will await commands and data exchange. We will stay close by in case we are needed. This channel is secure. Our systems are not hackable. Should offensive or defensive maneuvers become necessary, we are prepared to deploy a tactical combat drone and engage hostiles.
[ In less tech babble: if you wanna contact it via April's tech abilities or whatever else no one will be able to hack it's filtering systems or shut it down, and it's gonna be nearby and on standby for when you guys are ready to attempt this hacking thing. If you guys get into danger it can deploy a little robot helper to shoot things and distract them, and it will have it's Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle ready for long range and closer range heavy-handed offense. ]

*Attacking in self defense or defense of others is much easier to deal with.*
