Setting: In the dorms, just after Karkat returns.
Format: Action?
Summary: Terezi thinks Bluekat is being a huge wriggler about this whole "alternate version" business. TIME TO LAY DOWN THE LAW.
Warnings: None!

[Terezi would never, ever understand why she kept becoming friends with cudmudgeonly boys with egos made of glass. Karkat's little temper tantrum had been one of the most ridiculous things she'd seen.

But, to be fair, she could understand why he was frustrated.

That didn't mean he had to be such a baby about it.

So Terezi knocks on his door, tapping her cane against her shoe impatiently.]

[BUT HE'S STILL WALKING, THAT COUNTS FOR SOMETHING RIGHT?

Besides, how bad can a...forest...be...]

[Siiiigh. She quickens her stride and leads him towards the stairs.]

So hey! What was your Terezi like?

You really want to know?

[Genuine question.]

Yes! [She grins.] I asked, right?

[CASUAL...SHRUG.]

She's kind of hard to describe. Spent a lot of her time teasing and taunting everyone with knowledge of their deaths in the future. I don't know if she ever really saw it that way though. As teasing, I mean. I think she was just talking about what she knew.

[Pause]

Being dead does that to a person, I guess. She never hurt anyone who didn't deserve it, but a lot of people were scared of her -- or didn't know how to act around her.

She's dead? [She frowns, thinking immediately of Aradia, and continues a little tactlessly:] How?

I don't know. She never told me -- I'm not sure she ever told anyone. But she didn't really seem to mind.

[There's a slightly awkward pause. This is all sort of weird to hear.]

What was her role?

Seer of Doom.

[Terezi winces sympathetically. She's seen how hard things are for Sollux, and he isn't even a Seer.]

[He notices the wince, and it gives him enough mental security to let his eyelids droop in a bit of sympathy as well.]

Yeah.

Soo...

[She trails off, not quite sure what to say.]

I must be pretty weird to you, huh?

Kinda. You're similar in some ways.

Reaaally? [She grins.] Like what?

Aside from the obvious?

[She nods!]

She was a lie detector like you.

[Terezi grins.] Was she blind, too?

Mostly. Also mostly deaf.

Really? Jegus, that would suck!

I had a hard time telling what was going through her head. [Another shrug.]

[She grins. That doesn't surprise her.]

How come?

She just never seemed to make sense.

[This is starting to feel weird to talk about, so Karkat sets his eyes forward, puts his hands in his pockets and keeps walking.]

[She senses his discomfort, and for once decides to drop it. Mostly.]
