What is this Halloween nonsense?

Setting: Oct. 12 all over the tower (you pick)
Format: Starting with prose but will switch :)
Summary: Collecting candy and complaining about being dressed as the Hero of Time.
Warnings: None yet but that might change because Ganon is a jerk face

"Collect candy or else, blah blah blah. This is so dumb. And this costume is dumb. And too hot." Are the most common complaints that can be heard from the small blonde pirate who is dressed, not as a pirate or a princess, but in a warm green costume with tights and a belt. She's even got the hat but her hair is hanging down her back. It would probably look really dumb if she had her hair in a bun with the cap.

So she's wandering around and looking for candy, climbing things and crawling under anything including trees and tables, respectively. And maybe stopping for a break to eat some pumpkin pie.

Tohko was almost done collecting candy. Just a few more pieces and she'd be finished! However, after grabbing a green piece of candy, she noticed a girl with long blonde hair wearing a green costume with tights, a belt, and a hat that didn't quite hold in her hair.

When she had woken up with her costume, Tohko's normal hair ties had been on her wrist, so she thought she could lend a hand.

"Excuse me! You there, in the green! I have something for you!" She cried, running up to the girl.

It actually takes Tetra a couple seconds to realize that she's the one Tohko is calling out to. If it wasn't for the warmth of the costume, she might have forgotten she was wearing it. The girl turns after a moment, surprised at how quickly the other had run over to her.

"'Hoy there. Have... something for me?"

"Yeah, I do." Tohko quickly caught her breath and held out a hair tie. "I noticed that your hair was sticking out of your hat. I thought this might help." She replied, smiling.

"O-oh!" Wow, that was fantastic! Guess who's pulling the cap off and gladly taking the tie, quickly pulling her hair into a messy ponytail. She obviously lacks the ability to make her hair look neat unless it's in a bun but this works.

"Thanks~ I'm Tetra."

Tohko smiled. "Hey, no problem. I'm happy to help. I'm Tohko Amano, the book girl. Nice to meet you, Tetra. How's the candy hunt going?"

Tetra took a glance in her bucket and then made a face at the measly two pieces she had sitting in there. That 'or else' was hanging over her head a bit but there was still all day!

"Ain't the best but I'm workin' on it. These ain't the kinda candies I seen on the islands so I gotta look hard."

"Ah, don't worry. You'll find them in no time. They're in all sorts of small corner and crannies, so it's not hard to find them once you know where to look. Here. I've got some extras that you can have." Tohko smiled and took three pieces of of her bucket and put them in Tetra's. She had been collecting too much anyways. Giving out her extras wasn't a bad idea.

There's a bit of flailing and Tetra quickly shakes her head, trying to pull her bucket out of reach. Pirate or no, Tetra is the honorable type and couldn't take someone elses candy.

"What if somethin' happens to you? I ain't gonna let someone get hurt t'help me."

"Don't worry, don't worry! I filled out my quota for the day, so I'm alright! However, if you won't take my candy, will you at least allow me to help you find it?" Tohko asked. She was happy that Tetra was being a little kind, but she didn't want the girl to die because of an unfulfilled quota.

[ Hello there Tetra, have the Great King of Evil, Demon King, Dark Lord or whatever, on your way. Except today he's looking as if he had gained a lot of weight suddenly. And clothed in red... And he holds a big, heavy bag on his back. Oh, and his hairs and beards are all white. DETAILS.

... Wow, is that little girl Tetra? That's quite horrible really, is that the best the tower found for her, a Hero costume? Awful, as if there weren't enough of them around, bag.

Have a very antagonizing glare as he passes next to you. Not doing anything. Yet. ]

[Yeah, like hell Tetra is making any effort of going over to him or talking to him. Someone is still sore about those first couple days here and the whole killing her family and friends thing.

Also, his costume is even more dumb than hers so HA!]

You know the Hero met with a terrible fate around your age, right? It would be a shame for you to meet with the same fate.

[ Those are Ganondorf's word to her as he passes by. Still antagonizing glare, but. It's not like she can harm him as it is, so... He can annoy her at will. ]

The Hero of Time kicked your butt!

[Tetra can glare right back, with all the fury of a tiny pirate (which isn't actually much), and maybe try to kick him in the shin.]

That's legend. He immobilized me and the princess sealed me away, that's the best he could do.

Do you know how much he suffered to reach such a result though?

[ Kick him in the chin? Grow up, in ten years maybe little pirate. ]

Still beat the crap outta you. And he wouldn't'a been a Hero if he didn't have'ta do lotsa hard stuff.

And he died, and I lived. unfortunately the same fate you'll probably go through.

[ Just give him time, he'll make rhyme with "pirate" "little" and "dwarf" just for Tetra. ]

"Aren't you a little old to be crawling around, hunting for candy?" And what was with the hat?

Ken had arrived too late to make it to this costume party; he was dressed in his school uniform as per usual, the shaft of his spear balanced easily against one narrow shoulder.

Tetra looked towards the voice and tilted her head slightly before shrugging. She wasn't even sure how this holiday worked, let alone to costumes and candy.

"I dunno. I woke up to a note tellin' me I gotta collect candy or else." She hadn't seen many other armed kids in the tower before, so it was nice to see someone who looked like the could handle themselves. Shame that she had left her swords in her room but part of her was hoping to run into a Link and borrow their Master Sword (despite it being at least twice her size.)

Ken frowned a little. "That's not what my note said. It just said something about the world ending."

Which was, honestly, completely believable to someone like Ken, whose world actually had been ending before he'd showed up here. Abruptly, something occurred to him. "Or else what?"

World ending?

"Ohhhh! Your new, eh? Rotten timing, we're gettin' messed with this month. Lots'a us got put in dumb costumes to collect candy. Usually when stuff like this happens, and since there's an 'or else' attached, people are probably gonna die."

She almost sounds casual about it but, almost imperceptibly, she's trembling. Tetra's already seen her ancestor and several Link's die. She didn't want to die yet. Or ever.

Ken's face tightened a little when he heard that; sure, people died all the time. He knew a couple who had lost their lives just this year. But dying because they hadn't collected enough candy?

"I... guess I'll help you look, then." He bent down, checking under a nearby seat to inspect it for for hidden candy. "But who's making this all happen? There's so many people here -- how can they make everyone do what they want?"

"Huh? Oh, you don't gotta. I'll feel bad if ya help me when ya just got here." Any other time, if she had gotten to know him earlier, it would be no issue. Tetra was used to being bossy and having people help her.

"The administrators are smart, they'll probably send monsters after us if we don't. Or somethin' like that."

Ken shook his head. "Since it looks like we're stuck here, we should help each other out." Especially if dying was involved. No luck with the first chair; he began scanning the corners for any telltale signs of shiny plastic wrapping or packaging.

"The administrators?" Hmm. That was the second time he'd heard that mentioned. Maybe it'd be a good idea to get a little more information about them. "Who're they?"

"Well, okay. If ya really wanna, specially since you ain't gettin' threatened, yer safe." So unused to being helped. Link, Zelda and Riku saving her from the monster under her bed didn't count. Okay, so maybe it did but that was something she was working on forgetting.

"I don't know much about 'em. I ain't even seen 'em yet but they brought us all here. And they've done some pretty mean stuff before. At the end of last month, Jason threw away all the food."
