Loveline is on the case~!
Characters: Nanako Dojima and you!
Setting: October 12th evening, starting around room 3-15.
Format: Action, but I'll match you.
Summary: A very confused seven year old arrives at the Tower, and wonders why she's dressed up as her favorite character.Does she need to hunt down onii-chan again?
Warnings: Gratuitous amounts of cute, and an over protective big brother.
[She could just barely make heads or tails of the note that had been left for her, and it did nothing to alleviate the confusion that was running through Nanako's head at the moment. All she had done was go to bed, slipping the picture of her, her father, and her brother under her pillow so that she could sleep better knowing that his image was close to her at least. Next, she was waking up in a strange bed in a strange place, dressed in her makeshift Loveline costume she had used to try and hunt her brother down over the summer past.]
[When she could finally move again she slid off the bed, clutching her toy mirror close to her chest. The last time she had appeared some place strange, it... hadn't ended well at all, and all she could think about was that terrifying man, and... Nanako swallowed back the fear that memory brought, steeling herself as she approached the door to leave the room, poking her head out into the corridor beyond before emerging. She had to be brave... her brother would want her to be brave right now, right?]
Onii-chan...
[...she wished he was here, because there was no way she could not be scared right now.]

Onii-chan...
[...she wished he was here, because there was no way she could not be scared right now.]

[...and then apparently his mask had a mind of it's own. Nanako nearly jumped out of her skin when it snapped back down, eyes widening at how creepy it made her brother look. After a moment, she reached up, patting the mask as if silently reprimanding it for doing that.]
...you still look weird, onii-chan.
[Sorry, Izanagi.]
no subject
...
Yeah, that was a pleasant thought.
Sob, he hadn't wanted to scare Nanako at all, and there his costume nearly made her jump out of her skin. Why does it always do this? ...Regardless, he pulls out the amount of candy needed for her to last the day and places them in the small pumpkin. ....Wait, did she seriously just pat the mask-?
Izanagi stop that. He knows Izanami did the same when their mask fragmented, now shh.
...snrk. Nope, he totally wasn't laughing. Not at all.]
...Yeah, I know.
[Haha, godself.]
no subject
...I missed you.
no subject
...I missed you, too.
[More than he'd ever want to admit. Her and Dojima-san... They, along with his friends, were his family. If anything happened to any of them...
He knows, other self. He knows that there may be a time when he can't protect her. Yet as they stay there in the hallway outside her dorm room, all he can do is give her hair a comforting tussle, gently brush her short bangs from her face in the process. Who knows how he manages not to accidentally scratch her, but he isn't taking that for granted.]
Come on. I'll show you around.
[And tell her which floors to avoid at all costs because. D:]

[Once Yu stood to show her around, she latched onto a hand with both of hers, pressing herself close to her brother's side. Now that they were together again, there was no way she was going to let him go.]
Okay! Let's go, onii-chan.
[She was so happy to be here, even if it was scary and a little freaky. She had her brother; nothing was going to bother her as long as he was with her.]
no subject
Promise to stay close, alright? Some of these floors aren't very friendly.
[More like half of them aren't. And with that warning, the tour begins! He makes a note of the floors that are safe like the music and media rooms. Even the meadow floor seems peaceful, though for some reason he pauses just before the last step to it. And any scary monsters? Well... it's almost as though a white version of his costume that's even bigger than he is appears from nowhere to help protect them, when it isn't a certain gold dragon.
All while Yu trips all of zero times. Skills.]

[She held onto him tight at that warning, and it wasn't long before she was questioning just how many floors weren't very friendly. They were doing a lot more walking than stopping...]
[And then there were the things that were suddenly appearing. It didn't take her much to realize they were there to protect them, but still seeing the huge white version of her brother's costume and the gold dragon was a bit of a shock.]
Onii-chan...?
[She looked up at him curiously, confused. The dragon... did sort of look familiar at least...]
no subject
Yu stops on the meadow floor, a hint of a smile in his eyes.]
Yes? [At least here, it's peaceful enough to explain to her what those two were. Nothing there to hurt them at all.]
no subject
Are... are they... like back then...?
[She didn't want to bring up the events in November, but...]
no subject
...They're called Persona. It was because of them we were able to save our friends back home and help oji-san.
['And save you.' He removes the mask, just long enough to stare at it for himself. 'A 'facade of determination', they called them... Never thought it would be so accurate, now.'
The smile doesn't leave his face.]
I guess you remember Kohryu?
no subject
[At his question, she nodded, looking up at the "Persona" in question. How had her brother gotten this neat power...?]
no subject
What do you want to know?
['Sis, where do you want me to start because it's a long story.']
no subject
...what happened that night?
[She paused.]
Start from when that man turned into that... thing.

Yu sticks the blade in the ground with ease, using it as a prop as he lowered to his knees. To be honest, he's kind of glad the costume came with it right now. Still...]
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I was in a panic by then, trying to make sure you would be alright. Then... I suddenly couldn't move.
['It was almost like-!! That's it!'
Kunino-sagiri was born from Izanami, so maybe she could help him figure out a way to also nullify the ailment. It made sense in theory. The only question is: would she? ...Maybe on a good day. He'll have to ask her about it, later.]
That thing...Kunino-sagiri-? It had the power to control the movements of others. None of us wanted to fight each other. I probably would have really hurt them if you hadn't-
[-said something. He shakes his head, putting the mask back on before it replaces itself of its own accord.]
I couldn't summon anymore because of the pain because I'd burned my hand in the fight... and I didn't want to accidentally hit them, too. That's when I heard oji-san's voice. He...asked me to save you because he couldn't do it, himself.
[the Hierophant Arcana appears in his gloved hand.]
That's why he appeared--the dragon.

[And then that card appeared in her brother's hand. She let out an amazed noise, shuffling closer to it, but afraid to actually reach out and touch it.]
So... you can do real magic, onii-chan?
no subject
But look, a distraction! He was pretty good at those, it seems. He chuckles, nodding slightly.]
Some. But...
[the card shatters like glass on its own, Kohryu appearing like a ring of protection around them. The orbs glowed, and a faint mist of power falls over them like a shield.]
...They tend to use it more.
no subject
[...still, it almost seemed... familiar...]
...odou-san...?
[She turned a curious gaze back to her brother. Okay, explain this.]
no subject
Hm. I guess you could say that. [He sounds a little amused.] Kohryu came about because of our desire to protect you, after all.

You really are amazing, onii-chan.
no subject
But that exclamation... he can't help but chuckle.]
Only because I'm surrounded by amazing people like you and oji-san, Nanako.
[He wouldn't have made it this far, let alone survived his encounter with Izanami's Thousand Curses, without them. He would have lost right then and there...
So it's no wonder when Kohryu blinks again as Yu places a hand on its snout too, other arm wrapping around his little sister. Maybe someday... they'd all be together again. Even if he wouldn't wish this place on anyone, especially his family.]
no subject
[Everything was going to be all right. As long as she had her brother with her, home would never feel that far away.]
no subject
No, he was not thinking back to the pods. What are you talking about. Though... he is getting a little exhausted from keeping Kohryu summoned.]
