Setting: October 12th evening, starting around room 3-15.
Format: Action, but I'll match you.
Summary: A very confused seven year old arrives at the Tower, and wonders why she's dressed up as her favorite character. Does she need to hunt down onii-chan again?
Warnings: Gratuitous amounts of cute, and an over protective big brother.

[She could just barely make heads or tails of the note that had been left for her, and it did nothing to alleviate the confusion that was running through Nanako's head at the moment. All she had done was go to bed, slipping the picture of her, her father, and her brother under her pillow so that she could sleep better knowing that his image was close to her at least. Next, she was waking up in a strange bed in a strange place, dressed in her makeshift Loveline costume she had used to try and hunt her brother down over the summer past.]

[When she could finally move again she slid off the bed, clutching her toy mirror close to her chest. The last time she had appeared some place strange, it... hadn't ended well at all, and all she could think about was that terrifying man, and... Nanako swallowed back the fear that memory brought, steeling herself as she approached the door to leave the room, poking her head out into the corridor beyond before emerging. She had to be brave... her brother would want her to be brave right now, right?]

Onii-chan...

[...she wished he was here, because there was no way she could not be scared right now.]

[Looks like one of her new roommates had also just woken up.]

[Nanako nearly jumped out of her skin, whirling around to stare at the source of the loud noise. After a moment she shrank back, not sure how to respond.]

U-um...

[terreifying]

Hi. I'm Rei. What about you?

[Rei offers the girl a quick bow in greeting.]

N...Nanako.

[...well, she was polite, at least. Nanako returned the bow, looking up at the older girl shyly.]

SPEAK OF THE WORLD ARCANA AND HE SHALL APPEAR...?

[Little did she know... he was here, and after running into Rise? ...Well, he decided that it would likely be a good idea to check the other dorm floors for any familiar names. He noticed Chie's name, but didn't see her. Maybe he'd run into her later?

...But then he heard a tiny little voice, one that was far too familiar for him not to stop dead in his tracks.

It was her voice... his little sister's. There was no way he could ever mistake it for someone else, even though now that he thought about it, Izanami sounded like an older version of the same voice when she didn't have the whole...double-voice thing going on.

He'd heard it so many times in his memories and dreams, sometimes through Sraosha when he needed to be reminded of why he was still fighting regardless of the outcomes or the consequence of his actions. Part of him even hesitated to speak, especially after what he did and how he'd betrayed the Justice arcana so, yet when he saw the small being in that Loveline costume, he... removes the mask from his own costume with a soft click.

She didn't need to be scared by the yellow that mask made his eyes turn into. The gauntlets probably wouldn't help matters, either. Right now, she needed her big bro.]

...Nanako-?

['I'm here... Please don't be scared.']

[Nanako whirled around at that familiar voice, eyes widening slowly as she took in the sight behind her. He was wearing a strange costume, and yeah, it was a little frightening... but it was Yu. How could she find anything about him scary?]

Onii-chan!

[...and she was running straight for him, flinging her arms out for him. Look out, Yu, because you're about to get a flying tackle hug.]

[Yeah. A lot of them are in strange costumes this month, it seems. Not that he exactly minded all that much since he know who he was dressed as and what it meant (but really, Ruana?). Still, he knew how intimidating his other self could be. Especially when mad.

So when Nanako starts to run at him? He places the naginata that came with it down and the small pumpkin full of candy so he could hold onto her. And look, it made him get into the perfect position for a certain bitty detective koala to cling around his neck!]

Speak of the voicetwin and he shall appea- wait a minute

[Well, this is certainly a sight. A lost child looking for her brother and in what seems to be a sort of magical detective get-up.

...faded memories reconstructed. The times Yu has spent with her was at the forefront of that man's memories after all.

He's going to stop for a few seconds after walking past by her, turn around and well.

Greets her.]

Ah, hello. I can't help but notice you're looking for your brother.

[Nanako paused, looking up at this boy, an uncertain expression on her face.]

...hello.

[She hugged her spy-glass toy closer to her chest.]

[He seemed to want to say something, but decided to push the urge down to instead greet her.]

Hello.

[And awkwardly.]

Your brother should be around this area.

*Enoch was returning to his own bed in 3-18, not far away, when a confused little girl peeked out into the hall ahead of him. He might not make the best impression, dressed as he was, with the plastic pumpkin tied at his waist with gauze, but he wasn't exactly in a position to think about his own appearance, presented with someone so young and so obviously lost. The poor thing...*

...Did you just arrive, little one?

[Nanako paused, looking over in his direction and... taking all that in... Well, weren't... people that walked around like that usually people her father arrested? She hovered back toward the door to her room, looking reluctant to answer.]

*...Oh dear. He knows he must look so strange, and his height often is intimidating to young children, but...*

I don't mean to frighten you...

[prayed]

[Kyoko pauses upon seeing Nanako, the strangest sense of recognition coming over her. It was hard to remember now that the memories--not her own--had been so largely forgotten and what remained were little more than blurry fragments, called upon only when necessary. After a few seconds she's able to place her as one of Yosuke's friends. Nanako.

Well, it can't hurt to approach her. She could always just direct her to Yosuke. Kyoko offers herself a small shrug. Her hand moves up in a small wave. There's a smile on her face as she approaches Nanako. Hopefully this kid didn't mind witches.]

Yo. Ya lost?

[Nanako didn't mind witches, but... she kind of looked like a bad witch... like a culprit from Loveline. She glanced down at her spyglass, wondering if she was going to need to use it...]

I guess so...

[prayed]

I must look pretty strange right now, right? [She chuckles, thinking about it.] It's not my kinda outfit, but they start the Halloween festivities early around here, y'know.

[She holds out her pumpkin bucket, the candy inside clunking loudly as she shakes it.]

[There is a young man with silver hair in the hallway, but not the onii-chan she'd want it to be. Jogging down the dormitory hallways, Akihiko slows to a stop and takes a few deep breaths after catching the little detective girl peering from behind her door at the corner of his eye. No doubt, there was some uncertainty in her face.

He keeps his distance for now, not wanting to frighten her further.]

Hey. Don't be scared, it's safe right now.

[For a moment she saw the grey hair and got excited... but no, that was definitely not a bowl cut. She hung back, getting a good look at the rest of him, and realizing quickly that he looked nothing like her older cousin.]

[...what he said didn't help much.]

[Sugar-coating words isn't something he's good at. But at least she'll get honesty, though it may not be very reassuring.]

Well, you don't want to go out too late at night if you don't have to. The monsters are out at night.

[ ...Of course, said demon is currently decked out in this, with fake angel wings covering her own bat-like wings and all. Probably for the best. ]

[Wow, what a pretty angel. Obviously she was a good person if she was dressed like that. Still, Nanako was a bit shy, huddling back against the door.]

[Teddie was supposed to be somewhere on this floor, she'd sensed him here before...but apparently he's left to go elsewhere, because Rise can't seem to find him. She does, however, find someone else--and not someone she'd expected to see here of all places.]

...EH? Nanako-chan!

[The former idol breaks into a half-run, hurrying towards the younger girl. And well...at least her devil costume doesn't have a mask or anything, so Nanako shouldn't have any trouble identifying her?]

[Nanako turned happily at that voice, recognizing it from just about anywhere.]

Rise-chan!

[...wow, little risque outfit to be wearing around a kid, Rise?]

[Y U P Rise is showing off ALL THE CLEAVAGE and a fair amount of leg, buuut there's really nothing she can do about that, SO. And Nanako-chan's probably seen her in a bikini for that Calorie Magic commercial, which means this isn't quite so bad, right...?]

[Rise can't quite resist half-hugging the smaller girl once she reaches her, then quickly looks her over to be sure she's not hurt, taking in that very familiar Loveline costume as she does so. And at that, she can't help but smile down at the girl mischievously as she takes a half-step back.]

Oh...actually, you're Magical Detective Loveline, aren't you? [She gives Nanako a reassuring wink, letting her know that yes, Rise knows who she is, she's just playing.] Sorry, you look a lot like one of my friends from back home! Her name's Nanako-chan, and she's my Senpai's little sister. She's the best little sister ever--she makes me wish I had a super-cute younger sister, too!
