02 - a wolf among sheep
Characters: Yamato and YOU
Setting: Cafeteria! Oct 13th
Format: I shall follow~
Summary: Yamato is dressed up as an adorable lamb. He is downright psychotic with rage.
Warnings: He is actually a wolf in sheep's clothing. He has fangs. He will bite.
Yamato felt downright ridiculous as he slipped quietly into the cafeteria, looking about to make sure that it was empty. It had taken a stupid amount of time to slip this far without being detected, but it was better than someone seeing him dressed up as this- this-!
This lamb!
He was absolutely adorable! Cute! Cuddly! It was an outrage! He was a Hotsuin, and Hotsuin do not look adorable or anything of that nature! Yamato snarled quietly to himself, stepping further into the cafeteria. If he didn't need to eat, he would've just stayed under the bed for eternity!
It was bad enough going to that 'meeting' - where barely anything was solved except the candy collection. At least he could hide behind the other children there, but on his lonesome? No, if he was caught by himself, he would have to suffer being laughed at.
Total humiliation.
So someone find him and laugh at him already.

Ah, morning.
[Even though she's mentally giggling at how cute he is.]

At hearing the voice, Yamato practically fluffed up in sheer alarm, and did an impressive bolt to hide under one of the tables, shuffling out of view.
Aaaaah dammit! He had been so close...!]
no subject
... You don't have to hide, y'know.
no subject
Go away. You're not allowed to look at me.

How dare he laugh?! He too was in a humiliating outfit!
"What are you laughing at, you incompetent?" he snarled, almost fluffing up in anger. Sadly, whatever intimidating he could have was soundly thwarted by his adorable outfit.

"Oh, nothing much. Just the puppy who thinks he's already a hound."
no subject
"Feh. Not worth it."
Trying to maintain as much dignity as possible, he stalks his way over to the kitchen. He didn't know how to cook, having never done it before, but he was certain he could raid something from the cupboards or the fridge or whatever. Just snag something so he could leave before he died from embarrassment.

"...as fine as one can be when they have been thoroughly humiliated to the point of near-death," Yamato muttered, giving Romeo a baleful stare.

Yamato heaved a great sigh. "It means an intense, near crippling embarrassment. You know what 'embarrassment' is, correct?"

...it seems so.

The fact that he's been dressed as a stereotypical red devil, not so much. It's annoying and insulting and the fact that the Tower believes it can continue to get it over on him it's getting to be quite enough.
Lucifer takes a long, quiet look at Yamamoto before speaking.]
Brace yourself. They never cease with their insults upon us.
no subject
Something was off about him?
Although there was something off or weird about everyone in the tower. Well, that is how the pattern went, anyway]
What are you dressed as?
[At least Yamato recognised his outfit, as humiliating as it was. But was was this child's? The horns made it appear demonic, although Yamato had never encountered one that looked like that]
no subject
[Lucifer's voice is flat, annoyance still slipping out but holding back on his anger. Even if it's annoying to be asked that, to possibly have to explain it, Lucifer is at least able to remind himself Yamamoto is just a child and adopt some semblance of patience however thin.]
This place is foolish, and those who administer it are foolish. Then again. Perhaps the people here are foolish most of all for continuing to go about with what they're told to do at times by those running this Tower.
[Not that Lucifer himself gets much of a choice on the matter either. But he refuses to say that out loud. Or perhaps to even admit it to himself.]
no subject
He almost sighed, feeling too wrung out to really butt heads with this demon - entity - possible star - whatever...really, whatever. He was so done]
Everyone is a fool, then?
[Yamato's tone is a bit flat]

'... Breathe,' he had to remind himself. Sheep. Always sheep. Tch. Well, he could at least feed the child. - There. Some pumpkin bread. He grabbed some for himself and headed over to the child with the other half.
"... Here." Yeah, yeah, stranger danger. Whatever. He could deal with a child.
no subject
He glowered up at him, hunkering down in his sheep outfit while trying to appear as dignified as possible (and failing. Miserably).
"...do you really think I would accept that off of someone I don't know?"
no subject
He remembered what it was like all too clearly, after all.
