Summary: Mondo dies because he's been giving his candy away, mostly to Chihiro. Chihiro feels guilty about being alive at the cost of Mondo's life and thinks about giving up on his candy search... Help him find the will to live on?

Here is Chihiro dressed just like Mondo, pompadour, gang jacket (Though he has his all buttoned up so you still can't really tell his gender.) and all, though he also has floppy, brown bunny ears and a matching fluffy tail.

Chihiro sits on the ground of one of the dormitory hallways, his hands covering his face as he sobs as quietly as he can manage. His small body shakes with grief. Mondo is dead. Mondo is dead because of him... If he hadn't taken Mondo's candy... But his boyfriend had insisted on giving him the candy, saying this was part of protecting him....

Chihiro hates himself so much right now. He hates himself for being so powerless physically. He glances over at his bucket. He doesn't feel like collecting any candy at all today. Maybe he should just give up on collecting them. Dying isn't so bad, is it?

I guess I'm a bit tougher than most people, and I've been fighting monsters all my life. Dead monster also make the best taxidermy samples.

Yep! They're called Angels and they're really big.

[She holds out her arms and makes a sweeping arc motion to emphasize how big they are.]

Unless they're fragments, then they're small. And no, my job isn't taxidermy. I'm an EVA pilot. You can say my job is to kill Angels.

... Angels...? But aren't Angels supposed to be good...? You... What's an EVA?

They're not the nice winged angels people talk about. They're huge monsters who want to destroy all humans. That's why I fight them with my EVA. It's a giant robot. I call him Go-kun. He's awesome!

... but-but why are they called 'Angels' then?

Eh? There are giant robots in your world? Re-Real ones?

Oh, because they're messengers of Adam, who's pretty much God.

[She's fairly sure that he's not so much first man Adam as he is Adam Kadmon.]

Yeah, they're real. Go-kun is the very best out of all of them.

[She quickly, eagerly nods.]

Yep. I have lots of friends who also pilot robots to fight Angels. There's Shinji and 'Suka and Uri and Mari and Mana. And then there's Kaworu. He's a stupid kill-stealer, but he also pilots a robot. There's also an EVA we can't pilot because it has Aunt Naoko inside and Aunt Naoko wants to kill me.

The father of humanity...? Well, I suppose that is true... What about Eve then?

Kill-stealer? You compete then to see who kills the most angels? Inside? Eh? Why would she want to do that!?

I've heard theories about Eve being the Earth itself. But apparently humans might also be born from Big Mommy or Lilith. It's complicated.

Yep to both of these. And Auntie Naoko is only inside because she put a piece of her soul in there before she died.

I see... that does kind of make sense. Eve being Earth... L-Lilth? But... but wasn't Lilith supposed to be evil or something?

Eh? So... her soul is still piloting that Eva?

I don't know that much about her. But if she's my Big Mommy, then she has to be a little like me, right?
