://PROGRAM/001
Characters: KOS-MOS (
kosmic_angel)and OPEN
Setting: Room 2-13, Dorm halls (ever floor), Floor 27 Lab, Floor 15 Workshop, Floor 10 Aquarium, and anywhere else you want to find her
Format: Prose to start, will switch
Summary: KOS-MOS has woken up in the tower after trying to save the Elsa von Brabant (and Shion) from burning up in Second Miltia's atmosphere. It’s not something she’s “pleased” about.
Warnings: Besides a completely GIVE NO FUCKS android, nothing. Yet.
Room 2-13
To have absolutely no motor control was an oddity for the android and the lack of being able to breathe went unnoticed as she had no need to breathe. When she could move, her priority was to run a scan over herself before sitting upright and leaving the bed. Strange, this wasn’t her maintenance bed. This was an actual bed.
Her visor remained lowered as she scanned the room and finally settled on two notes that were apparently left for her. She picked them up carefully, face lacking any type of expression and read both. And even after she finished reading them, her face still lacked any type of expression. Of course, no one could see that with her visor down and blocking any hope of actually seeing her face.
“Data storage complete.”
She set the papers down and turned, scanning the room and finding the trunk at the edge of her bed. Investigating it was her next priority and then seeking Shion. Inside she found her weapons, one was broken down but her F-GSHOT and her handgun were intact. Both were quickly equipped and vanished from sight and then KOS-MOS turned and left the room.
Dorm halls (every floor)
KOS-MOS walked along the hallways of each dorm floor, quickly and with heels clicking with each step. Her visor was still down and hiding her face and she was scanning. Everytime she passed a door, she would stop for a moment to scan the room beyond it for any sign of Shion (or any other Vector employees but Shion was more important) and then move on. She wouldn’t stop to talk with anyone, someone else would have to intercept her.
Floor 27
KOS-MOS only paused here, scanning the equipment and checking for anything that might possibly equate to Vector or Galaxy Federation technology. If she gave a damn about feeling anything, she’d feel disappointed at the distinct lack of familiar tools.
Floor 15 Workshop
This floor was mildly more interesting to the android. Tools and equipment meant for building. Much of her weaponry had not been brought with her and her scythe sat in two pieces upstairs in her trunk. Repairing it wasn’t her job but this was likely where she would bring it to be repaired. Now, if only she can find someone that would be capable or repairing it without causing any unnecessary damage.
Floor 10 Aquarium
This did attract KOS-MOS’ curiosity. Her scans could clearly detect that there was no glass confining the water, fish and other aquatic creatures. It was simply water. There was no force field of any type either, that she could detect at least. At least she wasn’t drawn to touch it though.
That wasn’t enough though. It seemed that her blue hair interested a couple of the large species. One of which leapt from the water behind her and latched onto her hair, dragging her into the water. Her scanners had, luckily, alerted her to the fish and her handgun was already formed and aimed at it. One quick shot was all it took to end its life and secure her release. And then she simply exited the water no worse for wear and looking unconcerned.
Because giant fish grabbing you by the hair is totally normal, right?
Anywhere else
KOS-MOS will simply be walking through each floor and scanning for Shion or other Vector personnel. Her visor will never rise from her face though unless you talk with her.

Floor 15 Workshop
The woman looked like she was from a sci-fi novel. "Good morning. How are you?"
no subject
"Good morning. My systems are functioning withing acceptable parameters."
no subject
"Pardon, but if you're new to the Tower or need help, I can give you some pointers." Tohko paused for a moment before realizing that she was being a bit rude.
"By the way, I'm Tohko Amano, the book girl. Who are you?"
no subject
"I am KOS-MOS. I have read what information was provided when I 'woke up' here. I only require information in regards to my current objective: to locate Shion Uzuki."
Standing completely still, just watching Tohko. She does blink a couple times though but obviously not out of necessity.
(no subject)
If we ever get a Shion, she'll be pissed to learn about this...
Which is why we'll try to sweep it under the rug if that ever happens.
Yes good!

Showing any kind of expression, especially worry, was extremely uncharacteristic of him. Because if KOS-MOS was here... Mary was here. And if Mary is here... there is now nothing stopping Anima from activating.
"... Welcome to the Tower."
no subject
"Thank you, sir."
One member of Vector found but not the one she was looking for.
no subject
It was times like that just the faintest hint of worry actually managed to show on Wilhelm's expression. "I trust Mary knows what this means?"
KOS-MOS won't. But he's certain, somewhere inside her, Mary heard that.
no subject
If Mary's soul were even close to awakening, she'd have something to say about that but there's only the tiniest flicker of recognition deep inside her mind. KOS-MOS merely watches him without any signs.
"There is no Mary registered in my database that is present here, sir."

dorms;
... Unfortunately, she drops one of them right in front of KOS-MOS. Uh. ]
Don't step on the burgeeeeer!
[ She's hoping that she won't step on it. Because it's still good! ]
dorms;
It is not recommended to consume it.

[Floor 15 ; Workshop]
So have a very wary-looking old man approaching her. He may actually remind her of Professor Hakase. ]
Please do not say a word nor move, madam.
[ If she speaks the idea of a mind-reading experiment is kind of defeated. He quickly goes to a desk to pick up some kind of... weird... hat? Helmet? That looks technological and as though he made it with whatever he happened to find. ]
I need your assistance for a mere minute!
[Floor 15 ; Workshop]

I have improved an ancient experiment- I am going to read your thoughts!
[ He closes his eyes and breath before reopening them. Eccentric? Come on. ]
Let's see now... You were a mathematics teacher back on your homeworld?!

[Floor 10 ; Aquarium]
He sees KOS-MOS little misadventures and observe for a distance- He was about to offer for assistance when he saw her easilly getting rid of the fish. He looks surprised and raises en eyebrow, speaking out of habit. ]
Impressive.
[Floor 10 ; Aquarium]
I do not believe it was impressive. My combat and logic systems merely determined that it was the quickest solution.
[And there are still chunky bits of dead fish in the water. The carnivorous bunch in there would take care of it though. Eventually.]
no subject
Logic systems? Intriguing. Are you an android or an artificial lifeform built by a biological specie?
[ Data would observe, such behavior from the fish is fascinating after all. ]

He was perfectly fine with being absorbed in...whatever he was doing, until someone else intruded on the area, to which he gave them his attention with a quirk of his eyebrow. "What d'you want?"
no subject
"I am scanning each floor for Shion Uzuki and Vector personnel. You are neither." Said without any emotion or concern.
no subject
By this point, he had already figured out that she was probably yet another sort of mechanical being, so he knew sarcasm was probably going to be lost. By this point, he also didn't care.

"Oh. Excuse me..."
And then he looked up at her. He might have thought of her appearance as "yet another odd person" but in this state, the face-concealing visor caught his attention. It didn't seem to have anything to see through...those slits up there were far too small...
"...How are you able to see?"
no subject
"My scanning systems are capable of mapping the area without the need to remove my visor."
Although, as soon as she finished speaking, the visor rose to expose her gaze to him. She blinked only once then and then stared at him while awaiting his reply.

Enoch hadn't encountered very many robots, at least, not that he'd been able to speak to, and the one that did hadn't spoken about its sight that way.

dorm hallway -- fashionably late!!
At least, that's what Tippi makes of it. There's only one explanation she can think of, but it still doesn't quite add up... Inquisitively, she flutters in pursuit of KOS-MOS a short ways down the corridor.]
Um, excuse me... Were you looking for someone? Perhaps you need one of the other residents of this room...?
never late!!
KOS-MOS stops in her tracks and her visor snaps up to reveal her face.]
I am searching for Shion Uzuki. Her DNA patterns could not be detected in that room.
