[V/V is glad that she can simply fly over the hedge maze - it makes spending time in the garden so much easier. The wonderful plants and flowers here were one of the things she liked best about the tower - as scary as it was, it was still alive.

Hm, but there weren't many people who stopped on this floor to smell the roses, right...?

Anyone who makes it out of the hedge maze will see that V/V is on her knees carefully uprooting flowers from the ground and gathering them into her arms.]

[Later, V/V will be walking around knocking on each room in the dormitories. Yes. All of them. When the door opens - if it opens at all - she'll smile and pick out one of the flowers from the large bundle she's carrying.]

Would you like a flower?

[You can also catch her in the hallway before she moves on to the next room.]

It's mostly because I'm not able to defend myself... I don't feel safe here.

You could learn how to defend yourself. I'm sure it's possible for everyone.

Someone offered to teach me, but it takes time to learn. I'm not experienced at all.

I just don't want to be caught unprepared when I meet one of the... creatures that are here, you know? [ Because she heard of what they do- and someone like her would die with just one hit, sadly. ]

So, the quicker you learn, the better. Because there's lots of good people here who want to protect us, but eventually something bad could happen to us.

I noticed there are some nice people here... like you. [ Her expression relaxes. It feels nice to have good people around, indeed. It would be despair-inducing to think that she was surrounded by malicious people, and she can't give into despair again. ]

[ The reason why she became an idol was because she wished she could make everyone around her smile with her music... but that went all lost when her career was threatened. She nearly forgot about her motivations, and it saddens her deeply. ]

I'm sure you can do it. Everyone has some power to make other people happy - there isn't one person that the world would be better off without.

... I used to have that kind of power, to make people happy, but now I can no longer do that.

I was an idol before coming here. I could make people happy by singing for them... it made me happy too. Being an idol was my only dream.

Something happened in my world that put a stop to my dream... and now I'm here, with no way to become an idol again, you know?

I don't see why not. You can still sing, and there are still people, so it should be possible, right?

If it was that simple, I would have already done something about it, but... this place is not like my world. I can't sing for everyone here.

I want to sing for everyone. Back on my world, some people liked my singing. If you did it professionally, maybe you can teach me how?
