[V/V is glad that she can simply fly over the hedge maze - it makes spending time in the garden so much easier. The wonderful plants and flowers here were one of the things she liked best about the tower - as scary as it was, it was still alive.

Hm, but there weren't many people who stopped on this floor to smell the roses, right...?

Anyone who makes it out of the hedge maze will see that V/V is on her knees carefully uprooting flowers from the ground and gathering them into her arms.]

[Later, V/V will be walking around knocking on each room in the dormitories. Yes. All of them. When the door opens - if it opens at all - she'll smile and pick out one of the flowers from the large bundle she's carrying.]

Would you like a flower?

[You can also catch her in the hallway before she moves on to the next room.]

[When V/V gets to room 4-14, the door will open swiftly, and she'll be faced with a very intimidating, very tired-looking man in a long, dark coat. The wide-brimmed neck of the coat covers half his face and leaves only his blood-red eyes visible (she might note that dark circles are beginning to form underneath), which doesn't do his appearance any favors.

Her question is so simple, so painfully innocent, that it leaves Itachi floored for a minute. He's silent for a few moments, just standing there in the doorway, before he finally speaks up.]

...Excuse me?

[She doesn't even wince.]

I think the flowers in the garden are very pretty, so I brought some up for people. Would you like one?

[silentsacrifice]

[What. Why. Is this some trick of the Tower's? Will this girl turn into a horrific monster and try to maul him as soon as he reaches for the flower? He really wouldn't put it past the place at this point, and he is in no mood to deal with it.]

No.

[Wow. Straight-up stone cold, Itachi.]

Floor 29

[She's not the only one that likes the quiet and the beauty of the maze. Fou-Lu could transform to get over it, but it's easy enough for him to jump and then speed over the top of the maze, going fast enough that his weight doesn't press on the hedges very much and send him tumbling. He leaps down, and takes a deep breath - before spotting the girl.]

[He doesn't say anything yet, just watches her with wary green eyes.]

[She spots him too, and speaks up with a smile.]

Oh, hello! Do you like the gardens too?

Dorm Room 1-09

Tohko was reading a collection of Irish horror stories and munching on a small piece that tasted like bitter wine when she heard someone knocking on the door. She quickly swallowed, put the book down, rushed to the door, and opened it.

Standing right in front of her was a little girl holding a bunch of flowers. Tohko smiled. How cute..

"Good morning! Can I help you?"

"Good morning," V/V answered. "Would you like a flower? I brought them from the garden because they're easy for me to get." Her wings, nearly as big as her body, fluttered behind her.

What the hell would I do with a flower?

[ Maybe one of the least things Sayaka expected to see when she opens the door... she'll stare at the stranger, a puzzled and confused look. ]

[Saber opened the door and blinked at the flower presented to her. Then her pale eyes moved to the girl holding it.]

Why are you offering me one? You do not know me.

No. But I thought people would like them in general, and you're a person, so I want you to be happy.

[V/V logic, everybody.]

[The man answering the door to room 1-16 looks confused and displeased in equal measure. He had been thinking. It was important. But... wings? She has wings? He's eying them, rather than making proper, polite eye contact with her.]

No. [He huffs sharply.] Why would I want a flower?

[That's okay, a lot of people have that reaction to her wings.]

Because they're pretty and some people like to look at them. Maybe one of your roommates would?

[Kyoko pauses at the sight of the girl, almost resembling a stereotypical angel, but only for a moment. It's not the first time she's seen something like this. Still, offering something like that to a stranger... she glances at the flowers, then back up to the girl.]

Oi...I think ya got the wrong room.

Oh, it can't be the wrong room if there's somebody in it.

[Funny thing about that; one of the flowers V/V's hand might go for may have a certain iridescent butterfly sitting on it. One who jumps out of her exoskeleton when the surface she's sitting on lifts into the air.]

Eeeek!

Oh, I'm sorry! [V/V looks around before her gaze settles on the butterfly.] Should I put this back?

I would enjoy having one very much. [ Nunnally has always been polite, so no point in changing it even if she's emotionally distraught deep down inside. ] Thank you.

You're welcome. [V/V sets one on her nightstand - it's her room so she assumes she's allowed to enter.] You've seemed sad lately.

[V/V will find another plant person wandering the maze, fixing any damage people cause - regrowing some of the leaves, bringing forth more flowers, and all that. When she notices V/V at the edge of the maze (she's very careful not to get lost in there, even if the plants are her friends,) ... anyway, she hurries over to wave at her.]
