2nd Mission

[tempus_scorpius]

Characters: Rolo Lamperouge and YOU
Setting: 7th floor (Swimming pool),14th Floor (Media/game room), 28th Floor (Music room),
Format: Both are fine. I'll follow.
Summary: Rolo's just wandering around the tower, feeling rather bored.
Warnings: He won't bite unless provoked.

[7th Floor (Swimming pool)]
It was a spur of the moment thing really. Killing monsters gets rather boring after a while and Lelouch hasn't given him anything specific to do, so here Rolo is at the swimming pool. He examines it for a bit then decides to go for a swim after finding suitable swimwear in the lockers. Anyway, he had to keep himself in top condition for whatever might happen next. He's now quietly doing laps round the pool, concentrating on nothing but his own movements.

[14th Floor (Media/Game room)]
After his swim, Rolo ends up in media/game room. Once again, he examines everything in the room carefully. It's a force of habit from all his training. He just won't take unnecessary risks. Then he settles on a shooting game which he goes through rather mechanically with his perfect aim. He doesn't understand how this is fun. However, it feels somehow reassuring to be given an objective and a mission so he continues 'playing'.

[28th Floor (Music room)]
Finally, Rolo make his way to the music room. He is somehow drawn to one of the pianos and runs his fingers over the keys. During that year of fake memories, his older brother had taught him how to play a bit. He wonders if Lelouch would continue teaching him if he asked. Should he ask?

After a long pause, he sits down and starts playing some very simple tunes rather hesitantly. Somehow he feels a little happy.

chaos smiled and closed his eyes. He thought better this way sometimes. "Yes, you can. Even if he has changed in some way, nothing is keeping you from being connected to him, if you wish to be connected to him."

"But I'm afraid he might dislike me. Somehow he is so distant here..."

[lightofhumanity]

"If he is distant, it might be because this Tower is harsh place to live in. He might not want to see you get hurt. However..if you are unsure of how he feels, then you can simply ask him."

[tempus_scorpius]

"Nii-san... doesn't want to see me get hurt...? I... will have to do that then."

[lightofhumanity]

chaos smiled and nodded.

"Of course he doesn't. Family members and friends care deeply towards one another. In a place such as this, he may be acting distant so that you both don't get hurt emotionally. And you should do that. You may be surprised by the results."

[tempus_scorpius]

"But... we are not blood-related..." He looks away a little, a turmoil of emotions inside. "So that I don't get hurt emotionally..." He wants to believe that yet somehow that doesn't feel quite right.

[lightofhumanity]

"Being related by blood doesn't mean much sometimes. Adopted siblings are still part of their family, and they still care deeply about one another."

chaos nodded. "Right..so that neither of you get hurt."

[tempus_scorpius]

"Really...?" He does want to believe that but the memory of being called a 'fake' is still rather strong even if he does tell himself that Lelouch was lying.

[lightofhumanity]

chaos nodded. "Really. Of course, it would be best if you talked with your brother about these things. I am sure that if you do, you'll see that he does care for you and that you two can still be connected."

[tempus_scorpius]

"I... will speak to him then."

[lightofhumanity]

"Good. I am sure that if you do, you will see that he does care for you. If you need my help again, do not hesitate to seek me out. I am always happy to help."

[tempus_scorpius]

Rolo nods. "What... is your name?"

[lightofhumanity]

"My name is..chaos."

[tempus_scorpius]

"I'm Rolo."

[lightofhumanity]

chaos nodded. "It is nice to meet you, Rolo."

[tempus_scorpius]

"It's... nice to meet you too." Maybe? He doesn't know but he guesses you are alright.

[lightofhumanity]

chaos nodded at that before closing his eyes and enjoying the floating sensation of the water. If Rolo still wanted to talk, he would, but if not, he would enjoy the pool.

Rolo watches him for moment, before going back to his swim.

Floating always made chaos remember the good times. It was one of the few things that did. In his head, he sighed and then dove down into the water, wondering how deep this pool went.

..He's not going to be coming up anytime soon.

[tempus_scorpius]

Rolo happened to look back just as chaos dived down. He didn't think much of it until the other didn't resurface for a long time...

... so he dove down as well to see what was going on.

He'd just find chaos deep down, in the middle of a labyrinth of tunnels, looking at a nearby corner. When chaos could sense Rolo, he'd look towards him, smile, and wave.

Rolo swam over to him and wondered how he could hold his breath for so long. He was already feeling the need to resurface.

chaos didn't need to breath, so he could spend as much time down there as he wanted. However, he could see that Rolo needed to breathe. He looked one last time at a small corner in the tunnel before looking back at Rolo and motioning for them both to go back up.

Rolo quickly swims for the surface and after taking a big gulp of fresh air, he asks, "What is all that under the water?"

chaos surfaced alongside Rolo, but he didn't take a huge gulp of air like he did. "Tunnels, and quite a few of them. This swimming pool is much bigger than it appears."
