Summary: Xion's had some of the first really good news that she's had in a while. And now that all the language issues have finally been sorted out, she's more than ready to share it. Additionally, she's finally getting some work done on something she's been working on all year.

[Certain people will find a Xion knocking on the door of their room, sometimes with a more tentative expression than other times, depending on who it was. She had something important to talk to all of them about - in some cases more than one important thing.

But she could do it. She knew she could.]

[Today will see Xion around her usual haunts in the Tower - on Floor 1, eating meals, on Floor 39, running laps or going through several series of attacks and blocks - both with her Keyblade and hand-to-hand, or on Floor 38 reading a book.

However one particular place they'll find her is Floor 15, where they'll find her pulling a slightly oversized red sweater over her head. It's the culmination of several months' worth of work and at least four other shirts of varying types preceding it (and several other small sewing projects). It's just in time, too, given that the weather is starting to turn colder.

If she looks... slightly proud of herself, pinning her Turk pin to the front of the sweater to make sure it's still visible, well... that's because she is.]

[Xion giggled and ruffled the cheagle's fur one more time before it trotted back over to Luke. She couldn't help but tease a little, though]

It's not like you or anybody were here to for me to pay attention to instead.

[Well, he was now but not when the cheagle had approached her. She glanced towards it.]

What is it?

[He? She? She'll ask that next probably]

[Luke let out a bit of a chuckle.]

I was talking to him.

[He set his tray down, inviting himself to eat with her. Obviously, he still needed to work on that Expression stat...]

He's a cheagle. [So said as he sets aside a small plate of greens for Amnon to eat.] His name's Amnon.

Amnon...

[Xion reached a hand out in case the cheagle wants to come over to get petted again. Sorry, Luke, she has a weakness for cute animals and isn't shy about showing it like Tear is.

After a moment though, she glanced up at Luke, more thoughtful]

Have you been okay?

[Tower being the Tower]

[Sorry, Xion, but... well... Luke got him greens. You're going to have to wait until he finishes stuffing his face.]

About as okay as you can get in this place. The costumes were pretty bad, but I had Yu lookin' out for me.

[Well that elicited a grimace as Xion lowered her hand. Not Amnon's distraction - Luke's words]

You got a costume too? [Her face lightens a moment later though, with surprise] You know Yu?

Yeah, and it sucked. They turned me into a freaking bobblehead.

[He stabbed at his pile of food like it was the one responsible.]

And yeah, I know Yu. [He smirked a bit.] I'm talking to yu, aren't I?

[...okay, that was bad. Yu, please forgive him.]

[She falls for it, frowning in confusion.]

No, no. Yu. You were just talking about him.

[She bites her lip for a moment, before looking away. She probably wouldn't have admitted this, except she remembers Luke talking to her after all the fog and Shadows.]

They turned me into a wooden puppet.

[She seems legitimately upset about this.]

[He couldn't help but laugh at her confusion.]

I knew what you meant, I was just teasing.

[...and then oh. Well. That... kinda hits a little close to home. He lowered the mouthful he was going to shove into his face.]

...you okay?

[She knows it probably hits close to home, which is the only reason she's being as open as she is. As it is, this is teetering on the edge of too open too fast even with the possibility of Luke being in a similar situation. Maybe she shouldn'tve mentioned it at all.]

I guess... I mean, it's over now, right?

[She sighs, then relents a little]

It just reminded me of some things from home.

[Luke hesitated; he wasn't exactly the best person for this, but...]

U-um... if you wanna talk about it, I'll listen?

[He reached up, rubbing the back of his neck.]

I-I mean... I'm not the best person for comforting people but... uh...

[There's a quiet sigh, before she says quietly.]

It reminded me of what I am. That's all.

[Which is a lie basically. The thing about the Tower was when you were constantly struggling to survive, existential issues - at least for her - had become something that wasn't nearly as important in the grand scheme of things. Not so though, when you have it rubbed in your face exactly what you are.

Puppet. Broken doll. Less than a Nobody.]

[Luke tilted his head curiously.]

...what you are? But you're human, right?

[She shakes her head, her hands tightening as she lowers her fork and knife.]

Remember... a while ago? After the Shadows... you said yours thought you were a copy?

[She grimaces, slightly]

If your Shadow was right... you should know you're not the only one.

[She'd honestly like to pull her hood up.]

You're a--

[He cut himself off, looking embarrassed, before lowering his voice.]

You're a replica?

That'd be a yes, Luke. Same word and everything ~~Not that she realizes that other worlds use different words~~]

[Luke sat back, a bit of a stunned look on his face. He couldn't even... he had so many questions... and then they just started coming out before he could even think of how Xion would take it.]

How... how was it for you? Did you always know that you were? Did you... know your original?

[She bites her lip for a few moments. But really... she'd gotten this far hadn't she...?]

No... For the longest time, I thought I was a Nobody. [The way she says "nobody" is strange, almost like she's saying "I thought I was a human".

She fumbles a bit over the idea of "original" before deciding he must be talking about the person she was made from. At least... that's what makes the most sense.]

And... I do, but I never met him back home. He's here in the Tower.

[Yep her original is a "he". Thank you KH canon.]

'He'...?

[WAIT WHAT THE HELL WENT WRONG!?]

Yeah...

[What's wrong about it? THE ONLY CASE XION KNOWS FROM HER WORLDS IS HER OWN SO SHE DOESN'T GET WHAT'S STRANGE ABOUT IT...]

[Well, if they can create people like this, then why can't they... alter them?]

[...he's so grateful this wasn't the case for him, though. Assuming he really is a replica; man, that would be awkward as hell.]
