Yeah you know it gets better (Forward-dated to tomorrow)
Characters: Xion and a bunch of people INCLUDING YOU
Setting: Various people's rooms, then a variety of floors particularly Floor 15
Format: Either works! Starting in action but I'll match
Summary: Xion's had some of the first really good news that she's had in a while. And now that all the language issues have finally been sorted out, she's more than ready to share it. Additionally, she's finally getting some work done on something she's been working on all year.
Warnings: Nothing likely?
Private to Namine, Axel, and OU Sora
[Certain people will find a Xion knocking on the door of their room, sometimes with a more tentative expression than other times, depending on who it was. She had something important to talk to all of them about - in some cases more than one important thing.
But she could do it. She knew she could.]
Open!
[Today will see Xion around her usual haunts in the Tower - on Floor 1, eating meals, on Floor 39, running laps or going through several series of attacks and blocks - both with her Keyblade and hand-to-hand, or on Floor 38 reading a book.
However one particular place they'll find her is Floor 15, where they'll find her pulling a slightly oversized red sweater over her head. It's the culmination of several months' worth of work and at least four other shirts of varying types preceding it (and several other small sewing projects). It's just in time, too, given that the weather is starting to turn colder.
If she looks... slightly proud of herself, pinning her Turk pin to the front of the sweater to make sure it's still visible, well... that's because she is.]

She looked down and away.]
Hey. [...] I'm sorry.

With a sigh he shook his head.]
No. ... I should be apologizing to you. I– shouldn't've pushed you that far.
no subject
You... just don't want anything bad to happen to me.
[Right? That's... that's what friends did. They cared about each other... protected each other. She... she could understand why Axel had been acting the way he had, even if... even if she disagreed with what he'd been trying to do.
Her mouth tightened.]
Things... things are really different here. Roxas was here for a while, but he didn't remember me at all. He was from... after everything. I didn't know what to do so I didn't talk to him for a while. Then he left... before I could fix anything.
I don't want that to happen again.
[To us.]

Axel briefly looked up at the mentioning of Roxas. Another thing to not be proud of...
These kids didn't need to go through all of this no matter where they were. But he knew better than he make promises he wasn't sure if he could keep. He might have wanted Xion's well-being in every sense of the word, but, really, he had to accept there was no full-proof way to ensure that.
So what could he say to her? What could he do?]
... We'll see what we can do while we're here.
[Either mend their friendship or work towards letting fall apart easier- Whatever would work best for her.]
Right now what happened back on our World is just the past.

But it couldn't be that simple, could it? She could pick up the pieces somehow, here... She had to. Above all... she did not want to lose this friendship. Not when it meant so much.
She wanted to hug Axel, but there's a part of her that remembers she wasn't as clingy back home, so she just wraps her arms around herself instead.]
C-can we can go to my room? Or... somewhere else we can talk.
[She'd suggest here, but in order to find Axel's room, she'd had to read who lived in them, and thus she knew who else lived in this room. It'd been a risk to knock even, she'd checked, listened... it hadn't seemed like Vanitas was there though there'd been no way to know for sure.
It'd been worth it essentially. But she wasn't going to talk here, not when he could come back any time.]
no subject
That is, if she wanted it that way.
When he saw her hold onto herself and follow up with that question his expression softened and he tilted his head.]
... Sure.
[He had to look over his shoulder to check and see if there was anything particularly wrong with his room before he stepped out and shut the door behind him.]
Lead the way.

[She'll explain later, to be sure. But for now she leads the way down to her room, room 1-01. Rather easy to remember. She opened the door and peeked inside, just to make sure nobody else was in, then opened the door and for him to follow. Her room looks exactly like his, though he'll probably be able to recognize Xion's corner by the shells tucked away in odd places.
At last she turns around to face him. Though... she still isn't sure how to start. Finally she just picks a point and... goes.]
I've been here since January so... I know I'm probably pretty different from how you remember. A lot's happened.
[Meeting Sora. Vanitas and Ganondorf and every awful thing that the Tower's done. Reno and Shion. So many people she's met and gotten to know... Things she's learned to do...]

At least until they reach her bed and he's able to look down and see some shells sorted and scattered about. It's enough to keep him silent in thought for a long time before she speaks up and he glances over to focus on what she says.]
... So what do you remember? From before you arrived here, I mean.
[It's something he's been meaning to ask her for a while now.]
