Gotta keep moving!...and hiding...
Characters: Allen Walker, OPEN!
Setting: Floor twenty-six
Format: Action-ey, if that ever was a word (prose with it is fine, too!)
Summary: Haggling at the tower has come back with a vengeance, and now Mr. Walker finds himself on the run...
Warnings: Possible language, very likely violence
Huff...huff...huff...
[That was careless.]
Dammit...
[Allen manages to hide himself behind the pipe organ, for now. His hand is around his side, trying to keep a fresh would closed.]
[Night time at the tower really is murder. Just a few more floors to go and he'll be home free. Several instruments play happily despite some of them having blood caking their vinyls. Immense heat can be felt coming from whatever it is Allen is running from.]
[Making eye contact with him, the viewer can see the sudden spark of desperation in his eyes.]

He was hiding behind a pipe organ, trying to hold a wound closed so that it would stop bleeding. The poor boy looked desperate. chaos, not one to abandon someone in need, rushed to him and crouched down. Using his ether and his powers, chaos's hands glowed and the wound stopped bleeding a little bit. However, he'd need the infirmary's care. His healing powers were limited.]
Don't worry. I'm here to help. Can you stand?
Room for one more?
When he saw two people huddled in the music room, he stepped off, keeping an eye out for monsters. One of the men, he recognized, but the other...*
Are you two all right?
I think so! ^^
I am alright, but this young man here is seriously injured. I've done what I can for him, but what I can do is limited. We have to take him to the clinic. And there are quite a few monsters a couple of floors above us. I hate to trouble you, but could you carry him? I'd do it myself, but it is hard to carry a person and fight at the same time. I shall cover you as we move down the stairs.
be sure not to go off on tangents and pitch in in TURN! lol
I'll be all right, really, but that...[Thing.] Thing is still there. Oh, and don't worry. [He grazes his cheek with a finger.] It wasn't the one that tagged me. I would be dead otherwise.
[The sweat on his head beads down more as it gets hotter.]
Hee. It's okay, I can wait my turn.
The dogs made of fire? They're indestructible, only water will deter them. We must hurry.
*He looks at Allen. He can't see how bad the wound is, between the darkness, his position behind the organ, and with his hand covering it to begin with.* Can you run with that wound, or should I carry you?
Sorry..I can wait too. ><; I think this is my turn, right?
If they cannot be killed, then we really should hurry. If I am correct, they are starting to pick up the pace a little.
[It was times like these where chaos wished he had his full range of powers. If he did, he would have been able to heal this boy without any problems and get them both out of hear. As it stood, however, he couldn't.]
(Reply to this)
Order goes: chaos >>>>>> enoch >>>>>>>> allen
Cerberi...? [They weren't three headed dogs, that's for sure. Unless Greek Myths got it wrong...]
And what I wouldn't give for a glass of water myself. [The flames roar up.] That's our cue! Just go on ahead, I'll be right behind you.
[He looks less desperate and more determined, now, his voice almost like a command. And he sounds quite charismatic despite his girly frame.]
Ah, alright then. I'm terribly sorry about all of this..><;
..And a glass of water would be nice later..but for now, one of us will have to fight with the other takes you to the clinic. You're in no condition to fight. If neither of you have any objection, I shall fend them off and give you some time.

*Good luck arguing with him. He's already running, and attempting to pull Allen along.*
no subject
[Roars like a volcano erupt, echoing and increasing in volume.]
Just worry about yourselves.
no subject
Hopefully we can make it to that elevator then. And I shall worry about myself..along with you two. Especially you, sir. The bleeding may have stopped for now, but you're still terribly injured.
[chaos readies his fingers for an ice-based either or a good ice attack. It's not water..but it's better than nothing.]
no subject
We're nearly there!
no subject
And so are they. [Mr. Walker lagged behind the farthest but still had a good pace about him compared to the other two. So long as more don't show up in front of the elevator.]
Mind if I ask for your guys' names, in case this doesn't end well for me? [He's not smiling, but it definitely has a tone of mirth to it.]
no subject
My name is..chaos. But you needn't worry. It'll be okay. [chaos stuck a little closer to the person. He would have just picked him up and carried him, but that might have further complicated his wound.]
no subject
Already, he was running towards the elevator again.*
no subject
My name is Allen. Allen Walker. [The sound of splitting wood shakes off the smile he dared to burst forth.] Nice to meet you both. "If" I make it out of this.
[Hiding wasn't much of an option. Mr. Walker was leaving bits of his DNA behind, after all.]
Let me know if this is not okay.
Don't worry. You'll be fine. Just..pardon me for a moment. This will make the trip quicker.
[chaos got directly behind Allen, and using his powers, placed on hand on his back, and the other on the hand that Allen was using to cover up his wound. Using his powers again, chaos sped them up a little bit while trying to heal Allen. He wasn't sure how much more he could heal the boy, but they were going a little bit faster. They had to head to the elevator..]
Sorry I'm so late getting to this.
s'okay 30th will be busy for me
....
[Having gone mostly silent, Mr. Walker merely tries to be "patient" with the elevator. Crowned Clown, a white cloak that envelops his body and elongates his otherwise inhuman arm, billows forth around him. It does nothing to stave off the heat, however, causing him to sweat.]
no subject
Allen, be careful, alright? Your wound could open again if you move around too much.
[Seeing the chairs Enoch was throwing, chaos got an idea. As the chairs were in the air, he would snap his fingers and send some energy at them. It wasn't strong enough to destroy them, but it did make them go faster. All the while, chaos hoped the elevator would open soon. Allen needed to get to the clinic, and he was getting a little tired.]
no subject
The elevator doors began to slide open, and Enoch rushed for it, prepared to push either of the other two inside if they strayed.*
no subject
Isn't that the boy magician over there? What are you doing?
no subject
[Cerberi.]
[The white cloak reappears, obscuring Mr. Walker's face and his upper body. He begins backing away before turning a little.]
Go on! Get out of here!
no subject
[Whoa, whoa, sudden boss fight!? Caster was not ready for that one. Still, she's instantly on her guard, mirror floating into place to block any incoming attacks.]
Where did this come from? Boy, you've gotten yourself in big trouble.
no subject
[An interesting world you've found, Allen.]
I know...[His breathing becomes heavy, laboured beneath so much stress.]
Is there anything blocking the exit?
[Backing very, very slowly...and the Cerberi are closing in, matching the pace.]
no subject
[Serious business time. She follows his pace as well, backing up slowly towards the exit. She watches the beast, making sure not to make eye contact and challenge it.
Maybe a distraction would help here?]
Hey. Your nose isn't more sensitive than a normal human's, right?
[Because she is about to light something on fire, and this smoke is going to burn.]
Cerberi 'are' fire-y--check beastiary
What? No! Why would I!? [The pain in his side flares up a little as he clenches hard onto it.] Urrk...
Whatever it is you're going to do, do it fast! [Did they hit something important?...Yeah, feels like they did. His right eye closes to suppress it as best he can.]
[Fighting a duo of Cerberi was impossible at night--they light themselves on fire and are virtually invincible. His inhuman arm can't even hurt them, but it can knock them away a bit. Not like he has much energy to do that right now, obviously.]
I know, the fire's for distraction so she can use a different spell for attacking. :>
[Without another word, Caster lets her ofuda fly at the monster, sparking and flaming brightly enough that even a mostly-blind creature would notice it.
Before even a moment passes, she starts another spell for an ice attack, hoping the fire will distract the creature long enough for Allen to move closer to the entrance with that injury slowing him down and for her to finish it.]
no subject
[As he looks, Allen notices that while the outer part of his wound was somewhat cauterized, no doubt that the damage has spread inward.]
[Hospital. Fast. His inhuman hand gracing her shoulder ever so slightly in such a way as to say "I'm alright, now let's go on!"]
no subject
She releases her spell at the creature, turning to grab Allen and run before she even sees whether it hit or not.]
Let's get out of here!
no subject
[He can see clearly that she has begun to half drag him away.]
[Huh.]
[Something is going screwy with his left eye, now. Probably that...whatever she used was a little different than what it was used to. The healing had almost finished in said eye, bringing back his hearing entirely.]
Ugh...r-right...[He's no slouch at a nice, brisk sprint, but this girl was almost making a breeze.] I-I'm fine.
no subject
... That was dumb, wasn't it? Not only did that throw have no effect, but now whatever's there knows exactly where she is! She has to move, and fast. The problem is that to get to the exit, she has to move past the... thing.
Fumbling in the dark for another weapon, her hands grasp the handle of a bone saw and she creeps forward as rapidly as she can without making too much noise, holding the instrument in front of her like a baseball bat.
Don'ttripdon'ttripdon'ttrip--
Wait, why isn't she being followed? She's only a meter away from the pipe organ now, and she's sure that the footsteps had come from around here. Still, nothing.
Hold on -- there it is: the unmistakable sound of breathing. She couldn't hear it before, but now she can tell that it's coming from... behind the pipe organ?! ]
Eeeep!
[ She squeals and drops the bone saw. ]
no subject
[Upon inspection, she is definitely a girl. But not that little.]
Hm? Oh, it's just you. [His eyes have changed, becoming far more tame rather than they were before. Mr. Walker's remark is surprisingly...unfitting in comparison with the circumstances.]
[He extends his unused arm towards her from behind the pipe organ--it is long and black, jagged and twisted, totally inhuman. Yet, the rest of him seems rather...matching, in his black-and-silvery outfit. Even his stark white hair is not offbeat.
Hurry, it hasn't seen you yet.
no subject
[ She always squeals again as the shadowy mass addresses her in a very human voice. ]
I mean, you're not a monster?
[ slowclap.gif, Homura.
Then panic sets in again. ]
We need to get out of here! [ she urges in the loudest whisper she dares to emit (which is kinda pointless after the scream, but oh well).
And then she catches sight of his arm. ]
U-Um, mister... did something happen to your arm...?
no subject
Whew. Alright, first answer: No, I'm not a monster. Second: My arm has always been like this. It's a long story.
[His entire arm elongates substantially, spreading out and becoming thinner as a white cross appears on the backside of the hand. With quiet lucidity--but immediate frequency--a white cloak billows around him.]
[He looks rather stoically at the display, showing no sign of pain to his wounded side.] It's a....a gift. I think.
no subject
[ A second squeal escapes her lips, thankfully quieter than the first. It takes her a good few moments to establish that the white... thing... actually belongs to what she can now see is a boy not much older than her, the first thing that comes to mind is-- ]
Y-You contracted with Kyubey, too? But you're a-- I mean, I didn't think he could-- even your Soul Gem is different!
[ Yeah, the fear has kind of gotten to her. She's not usually this thick. ]
no subject
...who?
He raises an eyebrow, but just for a second.]
I don't know who that is, but it's definitely not what you think.
[The wound pains him a bit, but he doesn't cringe at all. Quite yet, at least.]
But let's save that for later, okay? [Checking behind him, the coast appears more clear. Or, at least, doable.] I want you to hold on, okay? Promise you won't let go.
