Gotta keep moving!...and hiding...
Characters: Allen Walker, OPEN!
Setting: Floor twenty-six
Format: Action-ey, if that ever was a word (prose with it is fine, too!)
Summary: Haggling at the tower has come back with a vengeance, and now Mr. Walker finds himself on the run...
Warnings: Possible language, very likely violence
Huff...huff...huff...
[That was careless.]
Dammit...
[Allen manages to hide himself behind the pipe organ, for now. His hand is around his side, trying to keep a fresh would closed.]
[Night time at the tower really is murder. Just a few more floors to go and he'll be home free. Several instruments play happily despite some of them having blood caking their vinyls. Immense heat can be felt coming from whatever it is Allen is running from.]
[Making eye contact with him, the viewer can see the sudden spark of desperation in his eyes.]

[Whoa, whoa, sudden boss fight!? Caster was not ready for that one. Still, she's instantly on her guard, mirror floating into place to block any incoming attacks.]
Where did this come from? Boy, you've gotten yourself in big trouble.
no subject
[An interesting world you've found, Allen.]
I know...[His breathing becomes heavy, laboured beneath so much stress.]
Is there anything blocking the exit?
[Backing very, very slowly...and the Cerberi are closing in, matching the pace.]
no subject
[Serious business time. She follows his pace as well, backing up slowly towards the exit. She watches the beast, making sure not to make eye contact and challenge it.
Maybe a distraction would help here?]
Hey. Your nose isn't more sensitive than a normal human's, right?
[Because she is about to light something on fire, and this smoke is going to burn.]
Cerberi 'are' fire-y--check beastiary
What? No! Why would I!? [The pain in his side flares up a little as he clenches hard onto it.] Urrk...
Whatever it is you're going to do, do it fast! [Did they hit something important?...Yeah, feels like they did. His right eye closes to suppress it as best he can.]
[Fighting a duo of Cerberi was impossible at night--they light themselves on fire and are virtually invincible. His inhuman arm can't even hurt them, but it can knock them away a bit. Not like he has much energy to do that right now, obviously.]
I know, the fire's for distraction so she can use a different spell for attacking. :>
[Without another word, Caster lets her ofuda fly at the monster, sparking and flaming brightly enough that even a mostly-blind creature would notice it.
Before even a moment passes, she starts another spell for an ice attack, hoping the fire will distract the creature long enough for Allen to move closer to the entrance with that injury slowing him down and for her to finish it.]
no subject
[As he looks, Allen notices that while the outer part of his wound was somewhat cauterized, no doubt that the damage has spread inward.]
[Hospital. Fast. His inhuman hand gracing her shoulder ever so slightly in such a way as to say "I'm alright, now let's go on!"]
no subject
She releases her spell at the creature, turning to grab Allen and run before she even sees whether it hit or not.]
Let's get out of here!
no subject
[He can see clearly that she has begun to half drag him away.]
[Huh.]
[Something is going screwy with his left eye, now. Probably that...whatever she used was a little different than what it was used to. The healing had almost finished in said eye, bringing back his hearing entirely.]
Ugh...r-right...[He's no slouch at a nice, brisk sprint, but this girl was almost making a breeze.] I-I'm fine.
