It was pure self-indulgence, you couldn't get enough of the drama
Characters: Revolver Ocelot (AU), OPEN
Setting: Starting at floor 38, then off to floor 40
Format: I'll match.
Summary: Ocelot gets used to her new surroundings.
Warnings: Nothing yet, possible violence.
She had never experienced anything quite like this. Being kidnapped and brought to some other world under the pretense of being "saved" was something that would be almost curious had she not been trapped here, in some vicious hellhole where death seemed to lurk at every corner. Fortunately for her, being a lifelong soldier gave her a small advantage. She was carefully aware of every footfall, every sound that she was making. Here, she hadn't seen any sign of monsters, but it didn't mean that they weren't out there, lurking just beyond her sight.
Not even for a moment could Ocelot let her guard drop in the event that some creature was out there. She kept her gun at her side, alert of any new noises, even as she took a cautious glance through the windows and the fog below.

Rosa asks from her place in a chair. Her own room is too cold, so she has been walking around, trying to keep warm.

"Does the heat go out often?"
no subject
Rosa shivers and wraps her hands around her arms.
"It was perfectly fine until just yesterday. Now it really feels like winter."

Of course, he couldn't say anything, his mouth wasn't properly shaped for words, but it was damn cold and his wolf shape was far more suited for the chill. He did, however, give a little bark of greeting.

"Hello there," she said, a bit more warmly than she would if she knew she was speaking to a person.
no subject
He crosses his front paws casually. Hello there indeed.

"I suppose you're not very cold."

"You look cold." If there was any trace of emotion there, it was somewhere in the realm of 'dismissive'.

But some things did, obviously. Something about Liquid was different, the constant rage and dramatics having somehow gone from an inferno to smoldering cinders.
He paused, looking over Ocelot in silence for a moment.
"...There's a possibility my old FOXHOUND coat's in my trunk on the dormitory floors. I can't honestly recall at the moment. I've nothing better to do and it's of no value to me if it is in fact there, so I suppose you're welcome to it."

Because Shion has terrible taste in clothes and is practically running around naked. And Shion was her priority, but she wasn't against helping others. This woman looked cold and KOS-MOS did exist to protect human life.

He was actually on one of the shelves, on hands and knees with his cloak draped over him, hood back so he had better peripheral vision, when he heard someone or something approaching. He rolled onto his side so he could better see the corridor made by the shelves, making a slow move to push himself behind a box...of course, he wasn't slender, and his muscular frame led to said box being pushed from the shelf with an unintentional nudge of his shoulder.
He let out a sigh when he saw it was only a person, and sat up on the shelf, leaning forward so he wouldn't hit his head on the shelf above.
"I'm sorry for the mess. These boxes aren't stored very well."
no subject
"Is there anything stored here?"
no subject
Carefully, he slid off the shelf, landing on the box he'd knocked off and hopping off to the floor. Sitting on the cold shelf wasn't very comfortable.
"I suppose one could use this level to store things, but our chests are fairly large already."

Catarina came up beside her, dark eyes on the fog. She wasn't completely disregarding Ocelot's presence, however. She recognized one suited to battle when she saw one. Her eyes dropped briefly to her revolver, taking in the weapon strange to her before turning fully to the older-looking woman, her lips curved in an inviting smile.
