Setting: Floor Thirty-three, in the morning till the afternoon!

Summary: He really likes snow ok he doesn't need a reason to play in it he's a kid

[If you happen to walk onto the once warm field of farmland, you'll see that it's covered in a small blanket of snow much like the other open floors. Another thing you might notice is a child sitting off in the distance with a red hood over their head. It's hard to tell who it is from afar, but upon closer inspection, you'll see that the child is wearing those familiar teal goggles. Now, who wears those things other than Kidou Yuuto?

Why is that boy sitting out here in the snow by himself, you ask? Well, for one thing, he isn't exactly alone. Waddling only a few feet away from him is a single little penguin. There are little penguin footprints in the snow around Kidou and every now and then it starts to get too close to the edge of the floor, and Kidou gently picks it up and moves it close to him again. It's hard to say how long he and the little penguin have been outside, but he's not about to leave soon. He's perfectly content with watching the little penguin roll and waddle around in the snow. And if you're really lucky, you'll catch him actually playing with the penguin... tickling it's belly or sides, or hiding it with him in his cape, or maybe he's just sitting with it in his lap.

It's actually really nice, getting away from other people every once in a while. Though, that isn't to say he wouldn't be happy to get some company. And the penguin sure wouldn't mind another person to bother.

(you were expecting this to be a post of kidou making snowmans or something weren't u well jOKES ON YOU HE'S NOT THAT MUCH OF A KID unless of course you ask him to join you in making a snowman or something then yeah ok he will there's nothing stopping him)]

[Fortunately, this one is familiar with the concept of alternate selves coming and going. He's been through it a lot.]

Oh, right. I forgot this place is like Johto but even weirder. [After all, it nabbed him from a world that was not technically his own.] Eheh, sorry. I am used to being the one on the other side of this situation so er...yeah. [He scratches at the back of his head, unsure of where exactly he was going with that.]

What's your name then? And like I was saying earlier, I apologize if Michael J. was bothering you. He's still kind of young.

[Yap yap yip!! Tail wag! The fox in question abandons the penguin and bounds back over to his dad, sitting on his foot and staring up at the two boys.]

Kidou Yuuto. [So this John has been to another place like this before? That's weird...]

Ah, it's no trouble at all. It doesn't look like he hurt the penguin so everything's fine.

[ghostytrainer]

Nice to meet you Kidou. Err...again, I guess. In your case. [If he ever makes it back home he is seriously going to rethink his approach when talking to people who leave and come back because WOW this is really kind of awkward when you're on the other side of it.]

But I am glad he didn't hurt your penguin.

[He's bored of just staring now though so...what does this Kidou boy's shoe smell like? Hmm...sniff sniff. Smells like shoe. Shiiiiifffff.]

[Oh cute it's sniffing his shoe...

He crouches down and gently scratches the little Pokemon behind the ear.]

What exactly is he, anyway? He doesn't look like any animal I've seen before...

[ghostytrainer]

[Ooo finger! Let's sniff that now.]

He's a Pokemon, you know...like from the video games. A Zorua, to be exact.

[pengeen]

[Thinking... thinking....]

...Pokemon?

[Nah, he hasn't heard of them before. Even if there was a game with these "Pokemon" around his Japan, he doesn't play video games so he really isn't all knowledgeable about them.]

[ghostytrainer]

Yeah! It's a popular video game in my world, but apparently it's a real universe as well. That's where I have been for the past two years.

[It was awesome, you don't even know.]

Anyway, the whole point of the game was to capture monsters and train them by battle one another so that they can grow stronger. There were more options and wiggle room in Johto though, obviously, since it was a real place and not confined by the technology restraints of a Gameboy.

[pengeen]

...so you're saying you've been in a video game for two years? [Wow that's kind of confusing.]

[ghostytrainer]

What, no! No, it was a real place.

[You weren't listening, were you Kidou? It was totally real, even if some of the people there were kind of...oddly npc-like.]

[pengeen]

But you said it was a game... was the game based off a real place, then? [No this is really confusing John you're confusing him.]

[ghostytrainer]

Apparently,. The best way I can explain it is...it's a game in my world, and several other people's worlds. But unbeknownst to all of us, it was actually a real place all along, though much more expansive than we thought. Like its whole own, separate universe that can drag people from other worlds in. Much like this tower, only a lot nicer.

[The food is way better, yo.]

Ah, really? There are other places like that?

[ghostytrainer]

Apparently so, yes. I was surprised to discover that too, but then in retrospect realized that I really probably shouldn't be. It makes sense when you think about it.

[pengeen]

[He tilts his head slightly]

It does?

[ghostytrainer]

Well yeah. I mean think about it. It's the same kind of logic that you use with aliens. Do you think that out of everywhere in the universe, Earth is really the only place capable of supporting life?

[He of course, knows that this is not true. Some of his best friends are aliens!]

Same with these kidnapping universes. If there really are countless worlds out there, which we know by the sheer number of people who come and go, what's to say that there aren't multiple universe that can nab you? I guess I just never thought about it because I had never heard of it happening before. Everyone who was brought to Johto came from their homeworld.

[pengeen]

[He places a hand to his chin]

...using that logic, it could be possible to leave this place and go to another world.

[ghostytrainer]

Well yeah, why wouldn't it be? People used to come and go from Johto all the time and from the sounds of things, it happens here too. Where would they go if not to another universe?

[Seems pretty straightforward to him.]

[pengeen]

[His expression turns a bit grim]

I've left this place before, it wasn't to another universe. It was back to my home. The buildings were destroyed, the plants were dead, there was absolutely no trace of life anywhere.

That's where they go when they leave this place, back to their destroyed worlds.

[ghostytrainer]

Hmmm.

[He falls silent, clearly thinking.]

An illusion, perhaps?

[pengeen]

Maybe. When people go back to their destroyed worlds, they're physically gone as well. So if it were an illusion, that would mean that they were placed somewhere else... but where, is the question.

[ghostytrainer]

Well there are lots of floors here, lots of places for people to hide. For all we know, there might even be floors we can't access.

[pengeen]

There are definitely floors we can't access. Like the control room, for instance. People have tried, and every attempt to get to the administrator's floors have ended with death.

[ghostytrainer]

Woah what, seriously?!

[He had only been guessing, but OKAY THEN...]

[pengeen]

[He nods.]

Another time, a large group of people including myself were brought somewhere else in the tower we've never been into before. We were split into three groups and left under the care of one of the administrators. It was some kind of... competition, to see which administrator was the best at running this place.

We've never been able to get back to that place again, and apparently a group of people who weren't stuck there had tried to break in, to save us. Of course, that ended in failure.

So it is possible that those of us who aren't here are somewhere else in the Tower and fed images into their minds of their destroyed worlds. [Or something like that...]

[ghostytrainer]

I wouldn't doubt it. This tower doesn't seem above weird sci-fi cliches like that.

I just find it a little hard to believe that all these universe supposedly just...blew up or something. Especially when the world I originally come from was destroyed already. Where were they to "save" us from that?
