Silent dormitory rooms are lined with bodies--not dead, just sleeping. Throughout the tower it is pitch black and silent. At the base of the tower, countless shining eyes, watching.
The tower hums to life. Lights blink on in one by one; only the dormitory rooms remain dark. A small army of blank-faced humanoids appear and spend the next ten minutes taking various positions around the tower.
An order given. The dormitory room lights blink on.

"Books," she points out the obvious and walks toward them to look them over.
"Help me find information."

"Uhh..." But then Denmark makes himself perk up, for Nor's sake. "Sure, what sorta books do ya need for that, d'ya think?"

She's found nothing useful, though, and after the tenth book on cooking she finds, she gets annoyed and sits on the closest chair she can find, giving up.
"How's it goin' for ya?"
no subject
"Nothin' yet, but I'm not givin' up."

"Whaddya think you'll find? A book tellin' us exactly how ta get out?"
