Summary: Zett's not affected by the cold going around. He catches up on his reading in the lounge, ignores the sanctity of the church, does what he can with his favorite pasttime of watching the stars, and goes hunting.

[Floor 38]
[Zett has a book to read (it's about character analysis in anime - Setsuna and Mirai are Japanese, Setsuna and Mirai watch this kind of thing, therefore it must be interesting) and is lounging on one of the beanbags. He also has a box or two of tissues next to him, ganked from the infirmary, and if someone so much as sniffles-]

Gesundheit. [He throws the box towards them. It may hit them in the chest, or, if they're unlucky, the face.]

[Floor 13]
[In the church, passerby may find Zett stretched out on one of the pews. He's singing to himself, though it's not the hymn you'd expect in this setting.

...actually, it seems to be a rather dirty song about a pixie and an ogre that fell in love and their difficulties with the, ahem, consummation.]

[Floor 12]
[Or, perhaps they find Zett watching the projection here. This time, he'll greet anyone who enters the floor.]

The stars sure are pretty, aren't they?

[Time for dinner! Zett's not willing to live off of nutrition bars, so he hunts for food himself.

If you notice a deer or two being felled by sudden bursts of lightning through the trees, there's sure to be a green-haired boy scampering up to them before anyone else gets his meal. He pulls out a knife and starts skinning the animal then and there. There's no reason to go down to the cafeteria to eat, right?]

Yep! His name's Charlie and I adopted him a couple of months after I got here.

Adorable? Well, I guess having a pet Bullfairy would be...

I wonder what they're doing here if they're not a threat to us.

Hm... Maybe to unnerve us? Since they seem to be in pain a lot...

That sounds about right. They would do something like that.

Yup... I had thought about making leg supports for all of them, but there's too many of them and not enough material to make them. [Huff.]

It's a nice thought, though. I wouldn't have thought of it.

[technologic]

Ehe, the idea kinda came to me when I met Charlie and noticed his legs were weak and broken. So I thought if I made some leg supports, he would be able to walk without getting hurt.

[scentofmakai]

So does it work for him?

[technologic]

Yep! He was wobbly at first, but now he can walk without much trouble... He has to wear them all the time though, since his legs aren't strong enough yet.

I'm no good at building things. I envy you a little.

I'm a cheater, though. I tend to work with metal, so I just use my powers to manipulate it and put it together in the way I want.

I haven't gotten that good with that part. You should teach me.

Teach you? Ah, if you want! It takes a bit of practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy.

I don't have a lot else to do here, and it seems useful. I'll put in the effort.

Mm, okay! When do you want to start learning, then?

When the heat comes back on.

Sooo, maybe next month then. Well, when the heating comes back on, just lemme know when you wanna try bending metal.
