Summary: Zett's not affected by the cold going around. He catches up on his reading in the lounge, ignores the sanctity of the church, does what he can with his favorite pasttime of watching the stars, and goes hunting.
Warnings: None so far?

[Floor 38]
[Zett has a book to read (it's about character analysis in anime - Setsuna and Mirai are Japanese, Setsuna and Mirai watch this kind of thing, therefore it must be interesting) and is lounging on one of the beanbags. He also has a box or two of tissues next to him, ganked from the infirmary, and if someone so much as sniffles-]

Gesundheit. [He throws the box towards them. It may hit them in the chest, or, if they're unlucky, the face.]

[Floor 13]
[In the church, passerby may find Zett stretched out on one of the pews. He's singing to himself, though it's not the hymn you'd expect in this setting.

...actually, it seems to be a rather dirty song about a pixie and an ogre that fell in love and their difficulties with the, ahem, consummation.]

[Floor 12]
[Or, perhaps they find Zett watching the projection here. This time, he'll greet anyone who enters the floor.]

The stars sure are pretty, aren't they?

[Floor 6]
[Time for dinner! Zett's not willing to live off of nutrition bars, so he hunts for food himself.

If you notice a deer or two being felled by sudden bursts of lightning through the trees, there's sure to be a green-haired boy scampering up to them before anyone else gets his meal. He pulls out a knife and starts skinning the animal then and there. There's no reason to go down to the cafeteria to eat, right?]

Floor 12

[Normally, chaos didn't wander into this floor. It made him too sad, reminded him too much of what would happen if he should fail, if Anima was activated. However, ever since that girl had killed him, he thought he had been a little..lax. He needed a reminder of what would happen if he let something like that happen again. As he wandered in, he saw someone standing there..and this person didn't seem quite human either. At the comment, chaos nodded his head.]

That they are. It is a shame to see them die eternally like this though.

But they come back. If you think about it as every star dying, then of course it'll be depressing - but if you think of it as every world being reborn with new stars then it's happier, right?

While that would be happier, in my universe, that is not how it works. Once they all die, then it is all over. Nothing more is created. However, perhaps things are different in your universe.

Probably. Where I'm from, the world was just about to get remade or destroyed, one or the other. I know it'll be reborn - I have faith in the person whose choice it'll come down to.

[He stretches out a little.]

[chaos smiled at the boy. It was good that he had faith in that person. That he had faith in humanity.]

I see. It is good that you believe in that person then. What happens if your universe gets remade, if you don't mind my asking? If you don't want to answer, that's fine.

[egotrigger]

[Allelujah stumbles into the projection room, staring up at the stars. He's still pretty sick, but he needs to see the stars. Being on the ground this long is still making him jittery.]

... They are. It's... hard to be away from them.

You travel? I've never been up there.

[egotrigger]

I've been in space for most of my life. It's rare that I'm actually on the ground, and never for this long.

How far from home have you been?

[egotrigger]

... Home is on the ship for me. So usually not far at all.

[He slides down to the floor, unable to keep standing.]

Except for a few years where I was running around the HRL, my home has been in space.

[Taro's wandering by as he hears Zett's little tune, and peeks his head inside.]

[... Oh. He walks over and leans on a nearby pew.]

Usually you don't get those two groups mixing in my world.

[But he's grinning, 'cause the song's amusing.]

It's a love fraught with many perils. Social acceptance is the least of them.

It's less social acceptance and more completely different social circles, but I get the point.

They're both neutral demons in my world, so that's not a problem. I've seen a pixie or two that could demand respect from even the most arrogant of ogres.

[He hasn't met Naoki's Pixie but he should.]

[He shrugs.]

I've met a few of each, but I don't really come into contact with them often. They're with the European version of the Underground, and I'm with the Asian one. But pixies can be kind of terrifying if they want to be, yeah.

[Floor 12]

For the moment they are here, yes. I suppose they are.

[Hope you don't mind him teleporting in behind you, Zett.]

[You do that, man. You won't get more than a jolt from him.]

Even if they're only here for a little while, there are always new ones. Nothing ever stays dead.

No. I suppose not.

[Its hard to tell but he almost sounds mournful at that. But it's just barely there.]

Even if they should, little would be lost. There comes a time when all things die, and are replaced by the new.

Even you and me. But you know, no matter how quickly they go away, they're still beautiful when they're here.

....I never cared for stars, should truth be told.

Floor 38

[April had not expected a tissue box to collide with her head when she sniffed mid-nap, and it's enough to get her to sit up on the couch and bleak blearily in confusion at the box.]

... Gesund-wha?

It's what you say when someone sneezes. Humans usually say that or 'bless you'.

Oooooh... Did I sneeze in my sleep?

Yep. Sorry, I kind of thought you were awake.

[technologic]

Nah, it's fine, I don't tend to nap long anyway. [She lazily stretches before shifting to look over at Zett.] How have things been for you since you got here?
