[There were certain ways to keep warm in the cold, and building a campfire was tried and true. Aleph wasn't going to argue with that. His hands were cold enough that he wasn't going to waste time with traditional methods, however.

His unconventional methods included Mara. He was, after all, a powerful demon with mighty fire attacks.

Therefore: those who wish to huddle around the campfire on the meadow floor will have to share space with a shivering Aleph, and with the giant penis in a chariot that occasionally blows fire to keep the wood burning.]

[There's another quiet laugh from her, but now she has a small, happy smile.] ... T-thanks, Aleph. I just hope I can keep doing, well, whatever it is that's admirable about me.

[She rubs the back of her neck, glancing back into the fire quietly.] ... Hey, um, do you mind if I being Charlie and Michelle here? Since this would help warm them up too...

Not at all, go ahead. As long as they're not spooked.

[Mara is still tending the flames after all.]

Ehe, I think they will be okay. [Considering the worms she noticed that her roommate has.] I'll be back in a minute.

[And away she goes, and it isn't long until she wanders back, coat wrapped tightly around herself with a Bullfairy and a rabbit peering from the top of it. When she sits down, she opens her coat to let them move about and Charlie quickly goes over to Aleph to say hi.]

[Charlie gets a pet.] Hello again, Charlie. How have you been?

[Charlie does a mock shiver and sneeze, giving a few grumbling chirps and April smiles slightly over at him, petting the rabbit snuggled onto her lap.]

He's been pretty much living in my blanket the last few days.

[alephbet]

I don't blame him. Some days I feel like doing nothing but hiding in my blanket, too.

[And then the mun loled while April flusterflailed- I mean

April giggles quietly as Charlie nods and sits next to Aleph.]

Same here. I think the only reason why I don't is that I get too restless after a while, even though I tend to be lazy.

I don't want to put on weight. Though I don't think it's a concern right now with the cafeteria food choices.

Pretty much. And with how cold it is, you're burning up a bit more energy than usual anyway. Though luckily there's still things to hunt for on the forest floors.

If they were all hibernating, we'd really be in trouble.

[technologic]

We would be. Luckily there's been deer and such still wandering around, so it's been okay so far. And at least the cold means the meat tends to keep for a bit longer.

There's a bright side of anything, I guess.

Exactly! Even when things look pretty grim, you can't give up the hope of something good happening.
