A'huntin we will go~

Setting: Floor Six (until he realizes how dangerous it is), and then Floor Thirty-Two.
Format: You decide.
Summary: Luke needs warmer clothes and something other than nutrition bars to eat. Naturally, this leads to so much fail.
Warnings: Luke. Failing. AT EVERYTHING.

[There was a soft rustle from the underbrush on floor six, and if you looked closely, you might see a head of red hair snooping around. He's being surprisingly quiet for one so loud, and if you stick around long enough, you'll get to see why.]

[There's a few deer lurking around, minding their own business, and Luke is heading straight for them. He keeps himself quiet, waiting... and then he leaps from his hiding place, sword brandished and eyes squeezed shut as he aims to behead one of the deer...!]

[...but the deer are having none of that. One with a medium size rack of antlers snapped its head toward Luke, baring its teeth and letting out a dangerous, not-very-deer-like growl. He somehow fumbled in mid-air, landing on his butt as the other deer turned on him, letting out similar noises. A startled, "Meep!" escaped from him as he scooted back on his behind, before finally flailing up to his feet.]

[This was the second batch that did that! This was so not a nice forest!]

[Later on, on floor thirty-six, you'll get to see him doing much of the same... with the same amount of success. Clearly, Luke fails at this whole "hunting" thing, and needs a mentor (or someone to mock him).]

[She's latched onto Yu's arm now, though she's kinda more clingy about it than normal. It's gonna be a lot tougher than it usually is for him to move his arm, or maybe even just move, period. And good luck getting her to let go...]

Well, that's what I did ask Luke way before, and he never answered! He was creeping around, like he was trying to sneak up on someone! He's the only person I've seen around here so far though--no Nanako-chan yet! But I'm sure we'll find her, Senpai, so no worries!

[He exchanges that look with a genuine amount of confusion. "Whadafuq," indeed.]

[She cuddles against Yu's side a little more, giggling into his shirt-sleeve, either brushing aside or entirely oblivious to both guys' confusion.]

C'mon, he was hunting with a sword! No way was he gonna catch anything like that! You should show him how it's really done, Senpai!


[Because hunting with a bus-stop sign would be so much more orthodox.]

[And not tell him. 8( Because he'd been worried, okay. Seriously, that is the ONLY WAY he can understand why she wanted to be called Risette when not even a few months ago (for her) she did not appreciate it and only called her Rise.]

...man, I want the normal Rise back. This one is annoying.

[She shoots a glare Luke's way, then says with a huff]

FINE! If you want your precious Rise back so much, you can just have her!

[Scowling, she bowed her head and blinked rapidly a few times--]

[--and then suddenly her head came up, her eyes wide and startled as she very nervously took in her surroundings...and froze in place, going absolutely still.]



[...She. Is standing right next to Senpai. Hugging his arm. Very tightly.]

[With a soft noise of startled dismay, she hastily let go of Yu and took half a dozen swift, half-scrambling steps backwards, stopping only when a tree looming up behind her stopped her from backpedaling any further.]

[And eye contact is definitely no longer a thing, as she stares intently at her shoes, arms tucked behind her back, her head down and her face deeply flushed.]

[And not a word was spoken, of explanation or otherwise.]

[...Okay, this is weird and reminding him of what she said about what she was like before-

[They weren't going to hurt/bully her, and there is no way she could get in their way. He offers her his hand. :c Girlfriend pls calm yo miiiind...]

[She can't help the smallest of involuntary flinches as Yu extends that hand, and she glances quickly from his hand to his face and back, though she makes no move to place her own hand in his grasp. Her voice is low, and markedly more somber than usual.]

...S-sorry...Senpai...

[Hunching her shoulders, she ducks her head, apparently talking to the ground and her feet.]

...Uh, um, I...I-I should...just go...

[Luke stared at her, not sure what to say. Something strange was going on, that was for certain, but he couldn't say what. Yu seemed to know, so he turned his confused look up to him.]
