A'huntin we will go~
Characters: Luke fon Fabre and YOU
Setting: Floor Six (until he realizes how dangerous it is), and then Floor Thirty-Two.
Format: You decide.
Summary: Luke needs warmer clothes and something other than nutrition bars to eat. Naturally, this leads to so much fail.
Warnings: Luke. Failing. AT EVERYTHING.
[There was a soft rustle from the underbrush on floor six, and if you looked closely, you might see a head of red hair snooping around. He's being surprisingly quiet for one so loud, and if you stick around long enough, you'll get to see why.]
[There's a few deer lurking around, minding their own business, and Luke is heading straight for them. He keeps himself quiet, waiting... and then he leaps from his hiding place, sword brandished and eyes squeezed shut as he aims to behead one of the deer...!]
[...but the deer are having none of that. One with a medium size rack of antlers snapped its head toward Luke, baring its teeth and letting out a dangerous, not-very-deer-like growl. He somehow fumbled in mid-air, landing on his butt as the other deer turned on him, letting out similar noises. A startled, "Meep!" escaped from him as he scooted back on his behind, before finally flailing up to his feet.]
[This was the second batch that did that! This was so not a nice forest!]
[Later on, on floor thirty-six, you'll get to see him doing much of the same... with the same amount of success. Clearly, Luke fails at this whole "hunting" thing, and needs a mentor (or someone to mock him).]

[Mindlink abuse, so that'd be floor 6]
/If you keep attacking with your eyes closed like that, of course you're going to miss./
no subject
[Luke fumbled to his knees, pressing his hands against his head. Ow, ow, ow; stupid original!]
C-can't you just come over and talk to me like a normal person!?
[Mindlink until further notice]
[If Luke cares to notice, there's a bit of a song at the edge of Asch's awareness - some kind of hymn from another world, which Asch is listening to as he's wedged up in a beanbag on the media floor.
The damn things really are comfortable.]
/Also, if you want to be quiet, try walking on the balls of your feet./
no subject
[Luke grumbled under his breath, folding his arms. There had to be an easy way to kill these deer, he just had to figure it out...]
...besides, I don't think the deer on this floor are normal.
no subject
[Yes, there's a bit of a huff there - really, Luke, you barely even avoid stepping on twigs and things that rustle.]
/And you can't honestly tell me you expect anything here to be normal./
[In that tone of voice, you'd think Asch was the one who'd been here for months, instead of a little over two weeks.]

Floor 32
A second later, Margulis drops down from his hiding place in a tree, landing a little more heavily than he'd planned, and glares.*
If you're going to flail about wildly, do it where you won't be interfering with other people.

Hey, at least I was trying to kill it. What the hell was that just now?
no subject
An unfortunate problem with combining improvised weapons, minor illness and the ability nullifying nature of this floor.

[He had no clue... then again, his only big ability was his lame attempt at using fields of fonons and hyperresonance. Of course he didn't realize it.]

Floor 6..? because she's too scared to get to the other floor alone. ;A;
Kuroa Ryuo Zue...
[As her song continued, a shell of light encased Luke, keeping the deer from harming him.]
Luke!
[Tear came bounding through the trees, and almost as soon as she reached him, the force field around Luke faded away.]
Why are you-- Huh?
[Obviously, that wasn't supposed to happen...]
D'awww...
[Crap.]
[Luke spun around blindly, smacking the deer with his broken sword. It stumbled for a moment, dazed, before it went right back to growling at him, hoofing at the ground. He probably should have made a break for it... but with Tear there now, he couldn't look that lame!]
Back me up, Tear!
[He grit his teeth, standing his ground. Dammit, he was going to get a new coat and a decent meal if it was the last thing he did!]
It's a secret~ thatonlyjadeknowsprobably ;A;
My hymns aren't working!
[So instead, she launched a pair of throwing knives for the beast's head.]
FFF
[One of the knives hit the deer's antlers, making it shake its head in irritation. Luke shot forward while it was distracted, managing to bring his sword crashing down on the animal's skull... though it was more like cracking down. As the deer stumbled away at the attack, there was a noticeable snapping noise from Luke's blade, another crack appearing from the broken tip.]

Heeeeey, Luke~!
[Don't mind
RiseRisette, she's just going to bebasically pulling an Anise andtackling you from behind without warning. She doesn't let go after the initial tackle, either, hanging there a couple inches off the ground with her arms wrapped around his neck and her chin resting on his shoulderand of course her boobs pressed up against his back, too X'D.]Whatcha doing?
[Of course, Risette isn't at all quiet, so the deer he'd been trying so hard to stalk have most certainly bolted and are already long gone by now.]
Oh. My. God.
Dammit!
[He swiveled his head around, glaring at Rise as best he could.]
What the hell, Rise?!
This is going to be TERRIBLE isn't it. |D
[She is making no move to release him, and is seemingly oblivious to the glare~]
And hey, you didn't answer my question!
COMPLETELY
[Luke tried to stand in an effort to get her off. What the heck was wrong with her... why wasn't she acting like herself?]
Why are you calling yourself boring and gloomy? You're nothing like that.
