Better to be hated... [open]

Characters: Erik Lehnsherr and YOU
Setting: Anywhere in the tower you like.
Format: Action or Prose, I'm easy.
Summary: A wandering mutant trying to sort out what's happened.
Warnings: Who knows, really. Erik's had a rough week, and showing up here and finding out his entire world's been destroyed? Is gonna put him in a bad mood.

Erik had read the note. Earth had been destroyed, and he was the lone survivor. Well, one of the lone survivors. There were other people here, clearly, but not any of the faces he wanted to see. Mystique, Azazel, Riptide, Angel, Emma.

While he didn't believe what was written in any way shape or form, the fact that his brothers and sisters were no where to be seen was troublesome. Someone, somehow, had been able to transport him here without his knowledge, under cover of darkness. It would take a powerful mutant or entity to pull that off without him even realizing it was occurring.

Whatever this place was, Erik didn't intend on staying. He had been a lab rat once before--never again.

So he wandered the corridors, the hallways, looking for information.

More of a.. manifestation of how my wild areas are still undeveloped. That's a theory at least, he found me before I was a colony and he's been around as long as I can remember.

[Matt looked a little uncomfortable trying to explain to Erik that he wasn't human and was actually a nation. It could go either way of the person accepting it or running in fear.]

[Matt sighed and waved his hand, disnissing the question.]

Nevermind, you'll just think I'm crazy like half of the people here do. The bear's Kumokio, he might as well be called a pet.

I'm Matthew.

[OOC: Matt can never remember the bears actual name, nor can the bear remember Matt's. It's odd and comical and rather stupid.]

Nice to meet you Erik and I'm in agreement. Usually people only make wild animals suffer when they try to tame them.

[Matt's very proud of his wildlife and seeing anything suffer bothers him to no end, even if its something as small as a mouse. But the bear was enjoying being pet and gave a warning growl at Erik before looking up at him with dark black eyes and opening his mouth.]

"You're upsetting him. I don't like it."

[identity profile] i-luv-syrup.livejournal.com 2011-09-23 01:57 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, like I said, he's not a normal bear. It's nothing to be afraid of, really, he doesn't usually talk to too many people.

[Kumo looked curious, wondering why the petting had stopped before giving up and rolling onto his back and looking at Erik as if expecting more petting.]

I'm sorry if he's alarmed you.

[The bear looks thoroughly happy at the fact that Erik is paying him attention. Matt merely sighs and looks at the ceiling, he knows all about untrustworthy humans mostly through the pain many of his friends suffered through as nations being led by corrupt leaders.]

I agree with you there, animals are more honest. If they don't like you they bite you, if they do they let you be near them.

You seem to hold a lot of animosity for most people. Aren't you human yourself?

[identity profile] i-luv-syrup.livejournal.com 2011-09-28 01:15 am (UTC)(link)
I won't deny that, at least most animals don't try to decieve you up front.

You're much more human than I am, than a few people here actually. It's not necessarily a bad thing, course I don't know what you've been through.

[OOC: LMAO that's awesome! Although if he took the bear he'd have the might of a nation coming down on his head and Matt's not overly friendly when very angry.]

[identity profile] i-luv-syrup.livejournal.com 2011-09-29 04:25 am (UTC)(link)
A mutant? [That gets Matt to blink several times.] Never heard someone call themselves that, what can you do beyond a regular person? That is... if you don't mind me asking, if you do then forget I asked.

[Matt backtracks with his words a bit wondering why the man is so angry, it wasn't like the Canadian had done anything to him personally.]

[identity profile] i-luv-syrup.livejournal.com 2011-10-02 02:23 am (UTC)(link)
[That surprises Matt and desipte the fact that he's now completely blind and other than for things at the far end of the hallway. No fear here, just mild fascination and surprise.]

That's cool, so, is it the metal you do something with?

[identity profile] i-luv-syrup.livejournal.com 2011-10-04 12:41 am (UTC)(link)
That's incredible, does it work on larger objects or just smaller ones?

[Matt adjusts his glasses on his nose and puts his hands in his pockets.]

I can't say I can do anything that impressive, I'm just really hard to kill. Well, unless you nuke my nation or dissolve me or something then that's a different story. But, I can't say I can do anything like manipulate magnetic fields, that's amazing.

With some of the things I've seen happen here I think it'll be incredibly useful. Although, you might want to arm yourself with a weapon I've seen some frightening things here.

[identity profile] i-luv-syrup.livejournal.com 2011-10-11 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, but what if you're in an environment without any metal around and something organic attacks you? I guess you could use the iron in their blood if you could manipulate something that small.

But I really don't think you're a weapon as you say. Merely a person with an odd ability with the free will to choose how you use it. I can snap a persons arm clean in half without a problem but I won't do it because I don't want to, I'm a peaceful person. So, really, I don't find you threatening or dangerous as a weapon would be, just a person.

[Matt's always an optimist, as sad as it is he tries.]
