3rd Mission

Characters: Rolo Lamperouge and YOU
Setting: Dorm hallways at night
Format: Both are fine. I'll follow.
Summary: Rolo has the normal type of flu but with it comes a nasty cough. His cough is getting so bad that it's interfering with the use of his Geass... too bad those monsters are closing in on him... Some help please?
Warnings: None yet.

Rolo is bundled up warmly in animal skins he's hunted and prepared himself but that doesn't seem to have stopped him from getting the flu. He doesn't mind the flu so much except that he's been afflicted with a bad cough and the medicine he's been taking doesn't seem to be helping much.

He's just on his way to his room rather late at night when he hears monsters approaching. This doesn't scare him and he simply takes out his knife and gets ready to activate his Geass, however, that's when he suddenly gets caught in a nasty bout of coughing. He can't quite keep his Geass up as he doubles over coughing. The monsters get nearer. He tries to control his coughing but to no avail... Help?

As for that question... well, that's kind of tricky to answer. Though... given what he knows of Fairy Tail...

"I suppose... by being kind and stubborn. By standing by each others side, no matter what, when the situation calls for it. That is my guess at least."

"Being kind and stubborn... and being loyal then?"

The stubborn and loyal part he thinks he can do but... being kind? He's not sure he's capable of being kind.

"Did it take long for you to become friends with her?"

"Yes, that's what I'd say."

That's kind of sad to think, Rolo. But well, with some practice and a good example you might get there one day! Maybe!

"...I don't think it can be measured like that."

[tempus_scorpius]

"That seems easier than I'd thought..."

If he could find a good example!

"Why not?"

Well, he can always ask around? There are certain networks full with eager people happy to answer his questions. Probably.

"Because friendship is about more than just the length of time spent with another."

[tempus_scorpius]

Probably...

"What is this 'more' then?"

[rememberscarlet]

Wow, Rolo, your questions are hard and well... really a case for the Network, than for an amnesiac mage. He's still going to do his best to answer.

"I don't think it can be described. When you feel it, you know it though."

[tempus_scorpius]

He doesn't really know they're that hard though... and about your amnesia and all that...

"When I feel it..." He takes a moment to think about it. "Are we in a way sort of friends then?"

Yeah well...

"Would you like to be?"

[tempus_scorpius]

"I..." He nods. "I do."

[rememberscarlet]

He nods and smiles.

"Then there is one important condition that needs to be met first."

[tempus_scorpius]

Rolo is rather puzzled by that. "What condition?"

[rememberscarlet]

"We need to exchange names."

Start by covering the basics and all.

"Mine is Jellal Fernandes."

[tempus_scorpius]

"I see. And I'm Rolo Lamperouge." There's a pause before he adds and holds out a hand for that's what he's seen people do. "It's nice to meet you, Jellal."

[rememberscarlet]

"You too, Rolo."

Jellal doesn't hesitate to take that hand, grip firm as he shakes it.

Rolo copies him then withdraws his hand rather awkwardly, unsure of what they're supposed to do now...

Jellal... admittedly doesn't know quite either. Though well... they have been here for quite a while now. He probably should bring Rolo to his room and continue his patrol.

"Which of the rooms is yours?"

[tempus_scorpius]

"402." He points towards it. "What about you?"

[rememberscarlet]

A nod.

"I live at 1-10."

[tempus_scorpius]

"You're quite far from it right now... Is that alright?" Since all the monsters would be out right now.

[rememberscarlet]

"It's fine. I can protect myself."

And he had dealt with the monsters that had attacked Rolo earlier, hadn't he?

[tempus_scorpius]

Rolo watched him a moment as they neared his room. True, he was in better shape that Rolo was in right now. "You'd better head back then. I'll be fine."

[rememberscarlet]

He nods after a moment; there are just a few steps left to Rolo's room so it ought to be fine.

"Very well. I..." ...Admittedly, he is not entirely sure what parting words to use. "I'll see you around?"

Yeah, that seems somewhat appropriate.

[tempus_scorpius]

Rolo nodded back. "Yes, I suppose so." Then there's a pause. "Good bye for now." And then Rolo sort of made a friend?

[rememberscarlet]

"Good bye."

Yes, Jellal would like to think so.
