2nd [Open]
Characters: Satsujinki and open
Setting: Floor 4, Dorm hallways
Format: Will work with you!
Summary: Having his version of magical anemia sucks.
Warnings: Shouldn't be any.
Floor 4
[This floor could have been nice for any visitors.
Except for the dead looking body lying on the floor. Not too long ago, Satsujinki collapsed here and, unfortunately for him, he can't move. It's almost as if his body had been drained of energy. The only sign that he's alive is that he's still breathing and, if one gets close enough to tell, his teeth are clenched together in frustration.
Suffering from 'Chronic Vertigo Anemia' frequently caused him to collapse as a kid. It only got worse as he got older. It lasts longer and is quite a bit more severe now than it used to be.
Maybe...just barely, he might be able to talk. Just enough to refuse assistance, even though he needs it.]
Hallways
[At some point, he was able to wave off assistance and is attempting to make it back to his own dorm alone. Being a little handicapped by his lack of sight, he still tried to make the walk, using the wall as a support.
It's not a pretty sight but his expression for anyone who approaches is certainly unwelcoming. He's been living alone for a few years and had to deal with this fairly frequently. As far as he's concerned, he can still deal with it himself.]

"Ah..sorry, Satsujinki. I forgot..but what happened to you? What's wrong?" She started to walk out of the room, dragging him with her as best she could.
no subject
"It's a leftover of an injury I had as a kid. The doctors say it's anemia and I suffer attacks from it."
It was a convenient enough excuse given to him by actual medical personal. He knew what exactly was behind it but there was no real cure for it, magical or otherwise.
no subject
"I see..you had better get in bed and rest a little then. You have to take a break and recover when these things happen."
no subject
Which was completely true. But he didn't want to be dragged back to his room, mostly for his own reasons. Yeah, he always hated being helped.
"I'll be fine now so you can leave me."
no subject
"I never expected you to know..but I'm not going to leave you! You were collapsed on the floor, and even though you're slowly recovering, you need to get some rest, or you'll collapse again."
no subject
See, he was already starting to bear some of his own weight. Though it was honestly easier to do with someone holding onto him.
no subject
While Tohko could feel that he was starting to bear some of his own weight, she wasn't going to let him go just yet.
no subject
Well, the exact specifications, he didn't know. But he knew the basics that went on behind it.
no subject
"Still..wouldn't it be best if you rested for a moment before moving about after it?"
no subject
It was worth an ask.
no subject
"I don't think it would be very safe if you rested there. It might be a bit better if you rested in a bed."
no subject
Yeah, he wished he had full control over some of those reactions but some things will always be instinctual.
no subject
Tohko continued to pull him down the steps as she spoke, not letting go of him yet.
no subject
With that, he started to pull from her, regardless of how well he could handle himself.
no subject
Tohko would let him pull away, but would still watch him carefully, ready to grab onto him if he started to fall again.
no subject
"Some people are just like that."
no subject
"I suppose..but they should know that help is always around the corner and that there's nothing wrong with accepting it."
no subject
Which was all specific to him so he never blamed other people for asking for help from others.
no subject
"How so?"
no subject
no subject
"Maybe not..but I would still like to try and understand."
no subject
He spoke about it as if in third person but it's something he had believed his entire life.
