Summary: Having his version of magical anemia sucks.

Floor 4
[This floor could have been nice for any visitors.

Except for the dead looking body lying on the floor. Not too long ago, Satsujinki collapsed here and, unfortunately for him, he can't move. It's almost as if his body had been drained of energy. The only sign that he's alive is that he's still breathing and, if one gets close enough to tell, his teeth are clenched together in frustration.

Suffering from 'Chronic Vertigo Anemia' frequently caused him to collapse as a kid. It only got worse as he got older. It lasts longer and is quite a bit more severe now than it used to be.

Maybe...just barely, he might be able to talk. Just enough to refuse assistance, even though he needs it.]



Hallways
[At some point, he was able to wave off assistance and is attempting to make it back to his own dorm alone. Being a little handicapped by his lack of sight, he still tried to make the walk, using the wall as a support.

It's not a pretty sight but his expression for anyone who approaches is certainly unwelcoming. He's been living alone for a few years and had to deal with this fairly frequently. As far as he's concerned, he can still deal with it himself.]

[ Walking with him, she's practically skipping in delight as she moves to an elevator. ]

[ Her hold on him is a bit more firm with that phrase as she gives a nervous laugh. ]

M-Married? [ SISTER-IN-LAW ROUTE UNLOCKED?? ] What would Tohno-kun say to that?

[ Squeezing his body to her chest a bit more as a finger pokes the button for the elevator repeatedly. ]

I don't think there's a priest here. [ Because that's clearly the issue and not something like their ages. ]

Yumizuka...or I promised to say Satsuki, didn't I? Look, it's not you. You're a really good person. A great person, really. I never realized that until, well, after I had to kill you.

[He stops there for a moment.]

[ Most of the effect of his words don't hit her immediately. Instead, she reflects happily on the fact that he said she was a great person. All of her hard work with staying in control and not losing this part of her was beginning to pay off.

Then the strangeness of his words hit her. ]

Is there something wrong with you Satsujinki-kun?

I'm just not good for that kind of thing. It'd be better if you didn't think about me in the way that you do. If you came clean to the other me with some of the things you've said to me, I'm sure you'd be a lot better off.

[ Suddenly this elevator ride to a floor or two below is a lot more awkward than she originally anticipated it would be. Even though this might be an ideal time to remain silent, she has the opportunity right now to speak her mind. ]

I don't think Tohno-kun will ever feel anything for me. [ Since he can't really stop her from squeezing him tight, she'll do so out of the fear of never being able to do it again. ] And that's alright.

[ Because she has him right here. Not a wise idea to fall for the one that kills her kind and has admitted to killing her, but hey. ]

Besides... I can wait a very, very long time.

That's the problem.

[....he has to take a deep breath.]

I'll be dead in a few years. I don't even know when. 'Soon' is the closest I can get.

Dead...

[ She wants to be hopeful. There's plenty of people here from different worlds and with Sion around as well, they can figure something out. Instead of comforting him that way, she tells him news no one that's dying wants to hear. ]

I don't think people can die here. A lot of us suffocated back in October, but we were brought back.

That's probably worse, Satsuki.

[He expects to go psycho before he dies. What if he would be stuck like that forever, constantly coming back? Shiki doesn't even want to imagine about that.]

[ Then she will do everything in her power to help him. Because that's what friends will do. ]

I don't want to think of you as--[ Ding! ]

[ The doors open and she's back to being silent. At least until they're somewhere private like her bedroom. There's a bed that looks as though it's been untouched for a while. Three ladies to a four occupant room meant that the fourth one could be for a guest if they ever had one. ]

I know it might be more convenient to you for me to like someone like Tohno-kun and I do think he's a nice person, he just...

[ Never notices her around. Forgets her name all the time. Can't look her in the face. Has like six other love interests. ]

... He's normal.

You thought about me on Christmas.

[ Doesn't that answer him better than anything else? Placing him on top of the bed is no easy feat (she's strong, but it isn't as though this is something she does often), but she manages well enough. ]

I think about you both, but it's strange. Then there's the other Tohno-kun...

[ She doesn't look too thrilled when she says that. ]
