Setting: Workshop.
Format: Starting with Action, but I'll match you.
Summary: Nearly fifty years later and Eridan still sucks at this sewing thing.
Warnings: Heavy handed sexual innuendo, attempts to make your characters uncomfortable, lewd bad jokes, Eridan being as trigger-happy with that gun as ever. Also Eridan being the troll-equivalent of a vampire, so expect him to glow if startled and shamelessly ask if he can bite your characters.

[There's a jadeblood sitting on a workbench, struggling with thread, needle and a really long, red coat. He's grumbling at it, squinting between each stitch and occasionally growling ferally at it. Sunglasses stuck on his hair, which is still black and green, Eridan seems to be slightly absorbed with his task. The short sleeve tshirt he's wearing is not very well suited for the cold, at least not without his coat, but he doesn't seem to mind. He's no longer wearing his sign on it, as it's just plain black with a small detail in yellow lines near the hem. His sign is now on his pants, black as well, stitched in jade along the lower part of his right leg. Shame the whole thing is dirty and slightly stained by blood and things you probably don't want to know the origin of. Rifle is, as always, resting by his side, an easy snatch away.]

Every fuckin' time, I swear...

[He shakes the whole thing in frustration, as he's once again, stabbed the underside of a claw with that needle. You'd think he'd be better at this, given how long he's been here. But nope. Some things just never change.]

The temperature contrast is usually a selling point, actually. Nice try though.

[He shrugs. It's not like it's a secret that.]

[He pulls off the last bit of meat and flicks the bone towards Eridan carelessly before pulling out another from his pocket. Gross.]

...besides, that sounds pretty fucking counterproductive.

[chronomancer]

[Your face is gross.

Eridan ducks the bone with a laugh.]

I could show you counterproductive fucking, if you're in the mood.

[caliginous]

[Karkat deadpans slowly.]

It doesn't work if you make it sound like a threat, Ampora. Or did you forget who you're talking to?

Most hateful shitstain this Tower has managed to come up with in who knows how many sweeps?

[Oh, let him speak sweet hateful nothings to your ears while he claws out your eyes, Karkat. Please.]

[caliginous]

[Karkat leaves his deadpan face perfectly in tact.]

Don't flatter me, it ain't cute.

[chronomancer]

Why? Might tempt you to replace that stick up your nook with something livelier?

[Yep. Still leering.]

[Don't mind him picking chicken out between his teeth with one of those nasty claws.]

[You're gross and disgusting and he hates you so much, you hideous shit.]

[The deadpan breaks to an amused and far-too-smooth grin. His fangs have yellowed slightly as time in the tower has past and he's stopped caring about them.]

Now now, Ampora, we were talking about me, not you. If you want to change the subject, all you have to do is ask politely.

[chronomancer]

Really? Should I politely ask you to bend over, too?

[caliginous]

You can. It won't get you anywhere though.

[chronomancer]

Oh, and I haven't heard that before.

[His tone implies the result wasn't wholly unsatisfactory.]

[Karkat sighs softly and slips off the table, sticking the chicken in his mouth and cleaning the bone off completely. He chucks it over his shoulder without bothering to look behind him and approaches until he and Eridan are nearly skin to skin.

Except his hands have slipped into his pockets, by this point, and he makes every effort to avoid any contact initiated by himself. Its a practiced art.

When he finally stops walking and they are nearly nose to nose, he smiles. Its a false smile, one reserved for when he looks down on others.]

How many times do you have to hear it before you get it?

[chronomancer]

[Eridan flares his nostrils as he lets out a deep breath when Karkat approaches. Then he licks his teeth, letting his skin grow shallow and pallid until it's glowing softly. Nose to nose, Karkat can plainly see those pupils dilatated and when he smiles back, he makes sure to flash his teeth. The end result is half arousal, half threat, and a wholly unpleasant expression on his face.]

Dunno, wanna find out?

[caliginous]

Not particularly. I don't have a vested interest in you, remember?

[The small scoff that comes from him sounds a bit stronger, due to their proximity.]

And last I checked, you insisted the same thing. What a shame for you, don't you think?

[He leans back a bit, just to be a shit.]

It ain't no thing, right? Plenty of people hate you.

[chronomancer]

Give me a snack, Karkat, I'm hungry.

[Leering. Leering so fucking much. Also ignoring you and your fucking words that make sense because goddammit, he needs to try a different approach.]

[caliginous]

[All that gets from him is a chuckle. He doesn't move. Threats and death have all but lost their meaning.]

Desperate to the point of sitting alone on the couch watching the telecommunication box with a tub of frozen dairy product, huh? We've all been there.

[A weighed pause.]

Oh...no, I'm kidding. I haven't.

[chronomancer]

I was thinking of something no less cold but slightly livelier.

[He smiles with all his teeth.]

But it's okay, Kar, nobody judges you for monopolizing dramatic crying in the ablution trap. Even though with all that jerking off you do, you're gonna clog the piping one day.

[caliginous]

Ah, so you've been reduced to daydreaming of what I do during my alone time. After all, its so rare, I guess you can't help but wonder.

[His head tilts in that annoyingly innocent way.]

You really should find a better use of your time.

[chronomancer]

I've got all the time in the world, darling.

[Something changes in his eyes, something in the way he looks at Karkat turns predatory, but not in a sexual way.]

One of these days, Vantas, I'm going to suck you dry. It'll be a very liberating experience for all parties involved, I'm sure.

[caliginous]

[Karkat tuts him softly.]
